“Good.” So Min said giving her a little squeeze before the hug ended. So Min smirked remembering past conversations about as she said, though So Min thought it would never happen and she was glad now that it was reality. “Yeah, and the only negative is that we’re not sharing a room.” She shook her head. “Hungry?” She said “I’m always hungry.” She chuckled. “I think near by is okay.”
“It could happen eventually, I’m sure. We’ll just need to give it some time.” Giving the other a mischievous smile, Sera thought briefly about her future in the house and the possibilities of somehow making some house rules of her own. “Nearby it is, then.” Another smile was offered before she’d advanced towards the shoe room, car keys dangling on a small hook nearby. “Anywhere in particular? I’m not exactly familiar with the area.”

Snorting at the others’ confession, she imagined how the other would do if she suddenly put music on and asked her to dance. “Everyone can dance! Even just moving your head is dancing. Though it is quite amusing when I see people dance off beat.” Haera always liked it when people danced carefree even if they knew they couldn’t dance well. The purpose of doing it was to have fun.
“I’ve got an image to maintain and cameras are every where.” She held out the last word longer than necessary, hiding her face shyly. “You know that rat movie? They said that everyone can cook, but that isn’t necessarily true.” Sera’s bottom lip jutted out into a natural pout as she went along further with her argument. “If you were to make something wrong, that could be quite hazardous. The same goes towards my dancing.”

Noah nodded at the girl before she left in effort to go find something to help stop him from bleeding. While she was searching for the necessary supplies Noah mentally kicked himself for being so stupid. He’d known his habit wouldn’t end well. But as with most of Noah’s habits he still went too far. When Sera returned he smiled thankfully at her. “Yeah. Thank you by the way.” He said. “You don’t need to help anymore if you don’t want to – it’s not fun to look at it.” Understatement. It was probably disgusting to look at but Noah had done much worse to his own body.
“Of course. I’ve been needing to do something with my free time any way.” She smiled up at him once more before looking into the kit in further search of anything useful. Without even glancing at the cut, Sera continued to dig through the small box of band aids. “I’ve seen a lot worse.” Her words came out in a mix of a mumbled and a hum. She said this knowing she’d put her body through pretty brutal looking things firsthand. Finally, she pulled out a band aid and ointment and turned her attention back towards the man. “Let’s patch you up now–” Her eyes widened as she looked at the injury, then back up at Noah. “Or second thought, let’s clean it up a little bit more, yeah?”
Nothing was ever easy and the harsh reality made Haera want to just run away and live her life under a rock. Her eyes widened, models were probably the second in line to have the hardest life. All the rules were probably just as worse. Nodding her head, understanding her situation, she could only imagine what her roommate had to go through.
Glancing at the script once again, she scrunched her nose up. “I don’t think I could ever memorize such things. I can’t even remember where I place my phone sometimes.” Softly chuckling at the statement, her hands patted beside her and grabbed her phone when she felt it. “So acting and modelling. That’s quite the stuff on your plate. I give you props.
Sera shrugged. “Everyone’s got their preferences.” She’d finally decided to put the script away for the time being, seeing as she was too distracted now to continue reading through it. “Yours is dance. I think dancing is incredibly hard. I couldn’t sway back and forth to a beat even if I’d wanted to.” Giggling to herself, she smiled at the other bashfully at her admission.
Aaron, not even wanting to bother with the girls mind games, continued his lesson on the purpose of him being so harsh. “Well, furthermore, I admire the fact that you even accepted my fate-less opinion. And that goes to show that hearing another’s voices can lead to rewards in the end. Also, if you do disobey me and become fat this thanksgiving, I hope to dear god you take that as a lesson learned and do the right thing on Christmas!” Aaron was the type to bore children and young adults to death with his feeble analogies. “Good luck on your upcoming schedule as well!”
Though she had tried to keep up with the man’s words, Sera was more distracted by the fact that he seemed completely unphased by her presence. That didn’t happen very often. Mostly (especially with the older ones in the house), she was able to charm males with her giggles and use of ‘oppa’. However, this man seemed to be far into discussion of Thanksgiving and Christmas to even think to bat an eyelash her way. “Oppa, what were you just talking about?” She pouted, putting no effort towards hiding her bewilderment.
“Thank you Thank you. I shall try my hardest.” Aaron let out a small laugh, “Okay dongsaeng, I won’t make it too scary.” He replies while biting his lip a little when he started to carve the pumpkin.
At first, she studied quietly. She’d no idea what to do as the other was busy carving away, but eventually the quiet had gotten to her. “Is it really safe to just carve the thing like that, oppa?”
So Min was taken aback when the girl pulled her into a hug, she had wanted to hug her much sooner than now, but she didn’t know if it was alright and now she didn’t waste any time being surprised to hug her old friend back. “I won’t. Ever.” She giggled. “I was sad and lonely all the time.” She told the other completely honest with her. “Don’t let me push you away again.” So Min might actually feel bad about pushing her older friend away for some time now that she was very present in her life again.
Sera pouted at the response she’d received. “I wouldn’t let you even if you tried.” She sighed out, holding on to the other a little longer before releasing her. “Now that we’re living together, we’re practically sisters now. That’s what we used to talk about.” She smiled at the other, reminding her of the happier memories of the past. “Are you hungry, So Min-ah? My schedule is free today, so I could take you out to any restaurant in all of South Korea."
Noah was sure she didn’t want to hear how he’d basically done it to himself but otherwise he didn’t really have an answers for her. So he just sort of looked at his shoes and mumbled about it being an accident. It was in a way. Noah hadn’t meant to do it – though he had meant to pick the nail in the first place. “I’ll be fine.” He said. “Just so long as I don’t move because I’m afraid I’d trail blood if I went looking for it myself and no one really wants to see that.”
Her eyebrow cocked itself in curiosity at his response. She’d barely managed to catch what he’d said, giving her the impression that he hadn’t quite wanted to share. “You’re most definitely right. No one would.” The girl responded, plastering a forced smile on her lips. “So you just hang tight and let me play the cute role of house nurse.” Sera chirped before heading off in search of a first aid kit. After about five minutes or so, she’d returned with a small box of bandaids and ointment which she hoped would suffice. “Are you ready?”
Aaron could feel the blush rising to his cheeks at the compliment. “I’m no pumpkin carving master you know…” He smiles, “But I shall try my hardest, is there any expression you want the pumpkin to have?”
She smirked seeing the other’s cheeks flush slightly. “It’s okay, oppa. I’m sure you’re naturally talented enough to pull off something great.” She offered the other a cheesy smile before beginning to think up a response to his question. “Scary, I suppose. But not too scary or I may just end up running into your arms for comfort.” Sera had finally managed to utter out with a giggle.
So Min tried to keep the smile off her face, refusing to let the corners of her mouth lift in the starting stages of a smile, her face probably looking a bit crazy like. “I trust your word the most in the entire world.” She said, after speaking the smile she was trying to hold back earlier, not making an appearance at all.
She trusts me. Sera thought to herself, a smile naturally making its way to her lips. Without much thought, the girl then brought the other into a playful hug. “And you should. I’m the best unnie in the world– don’t you ever forget that.” Her voiced remained stern, initially, but she’d eventually broke out into a fit of laughter. “Ah, Somin-ah. You must have really missed me. What was your life without me around?”
Haera just sighed. It was even tiring thinking about it. A sudden flashback of the events came flooding and almost made her dizzy. She didn’t have anything against going under the knife but she knew she didn’t want to put herself through all that. Actually, she gave the people props, the healing process was probably the most annoying and strenuous. But that was all the more reason why she didn’t want to be an idol, well that and the cage-like rules the companies gave them. It hurt her heart when she would meet the idols, especially during dance practices and how warn out they looked.
Shaking the thoughts out of her head, she slightly nodded. “It’s really not. I know some fans have some sort of understanding but it’s really more than that and it sucks.” Tilting her head, she fully looked at her roommate, “How’s the actress life like? I bet it’s just as hard…”
A quiet purr escaped from her lips at the other’s words. For some peculiar reason, she felt a bit catty at the remark. With a mischievous smirk, Sera began to think back at her classmates who had idolized the idea of being an idol. For some, it was an innocent dream which they wished to someday pursue (but knew that they absolutely couldn’t) while others were extremely confident in the goal. Those people had usually somewhat bothered the– formerly– timid girl as their boasting confidence managed to come across more obnoxiously than anything else.
“Acting is okay. It’s more of a side job for me.” She admitted with a light tone. “Honestly, it just helps keep me busy and earn some publicity through my own hard work when I’ve got no current modeling bookings. Other than that, it’s really just memorizing whatever the writers give us.” Another shrug moved her shoulders up and down as she made a small gesture of her head back towards her script.
Noah blinked as the girl approached him and he smiled weakly. “I hurt myself” He explained reaching up to turn off the tap. Nervous that his finger was going to start bleeding again he chose to keep it over the sink just in case. “Do you know where the first aid kits are or just a bandage or something?” He asked. What a way to meet someone new.
Confused by his response, Sera continued to inch forward before she’d seen the man’s injury for herself. With a frown, she looked back up towards his face to avoid the messy sight. “How did you manage to do that?” Her inquiry came out in a slight whine as she turned on her heels in search of a first aid kit. “If I were to check the bathroom for a quick second, could you handle another few minutes without shedding anymore blood?”
