Now that Sesame Street is gonna be on Netflix, our girls will be in the SAME universe as fuzzy luminaries such as Big Bird and Snuffleupagus. So obvs I gotta cast them:

Bert — Mother Superion. Secretly obsessed with the wonderfully mundane while not defeating Adriel’s hordes with her pinky

Ernie — Dr. Salvius. Anything is possible with my rubber ducky, I mean, Science. Even conjuring a little boy from a wish and Divinium shavings.

don’t talk to ME about gay yearning. in 2020 during lockdown i lived alone on a boat for three months. i went ashore once a day to work in a marine bio lab. we all had to access the lab at different times so we were never together & risking infection. i was alone all day every day, from my boat to the lab and back to my boat. one day a woman anchored her boat beside mine. we passed each other ashore just once at the harbor and she hit on me and invited me back to her boat. i told her i’d love nothing more but i could not risk exposure because of my weak immune system. she said it was a shame but that she understood. that night i was watering my vegetable garden i grew in 5 gallon buckets up on my roof and playing music on my speaker. “american pie” came on and she climbed up on her roof and shouted all the lyrics to every verse at me across the water and we danced together on our respective roofs. she raised anchor and moved on a few days later.

so yeah i know what it is to die a thousand deaths in an instant while your heart beats on.

"i don't comment on ao3 because i don't wanna be annoying or weird" skill issue + you greatly underestimate the power dynamic here, writing multi paragraph comments is like feeding a bunch of deeply insane and possibly starved ducks at the park and watch them go completely mad over having received a piece of bread

Respectfully, I’m losing my mind. KTY has the audacity to walk around looking like a walking daydream dipped in danger, with those eyes and that face and, and….. those freckles?? On her???

What am I supposed to do with the sight, pray? Meditate? Ascend??

She’s out here being ethereal and freckled and I’m over here blinking aggressively at the sun like it insulted me. But if the sun decided to take on her form, I wouldn’t protest. I’d just go blind willingly, smiling. If God made her with extra care, He absolutely did it knowing full well the rest of us would spiral.

I haven’t known peace since.
