Sh. Ibn al-'Uthaymeen رحمه الله:
“Mostly that which corrupts the Da'wah is lack of sincerity or lack of knowledge.”
● [القول المفيد ١\١٣٠]
"Sometimes, I have a certain need that only Allāh can fulfil, so I call upon Him. Then, I find that the door of dialogue with Allāh opens up for me, and through it I taste the sweetness of discourse with Him and the joy of knowing Him that far surpasses the urgency of obtaining an answer to my prayer, and so I prefer for the answer to my prayer be delayed for fear of losing this connection once my need is fulfilled."
Shaykh al-Islam Taymiyah Rahimahullah
[Majmūʿ al-Fatāwa 10/333]
Hasan Al-Basrī (rahimahullāh) advised some of his students admonishing them about avoiding the state of being proud. He said:
1. Do not deceive yourself into being too proud because you are in a good or righteous environment, for there is no place that is better than Paradise, and our father, Ādam (alayhis-salām), experienced there what is known to all.
2. Do not become proud merely because you worship often, for consider what happened to Iblīs (Satan) after he spent a great deal of time worshiping.
3. Do not think yourself great because you have met with righteous people, for there is no man more righteous than the Prophet (ṣalAllāhu alayhi wa salām), yet the disbelievers and hypocrites did not benefit by simply knowing him.

That is impossible, for the lover is obedient to the one he loves!"

Do not seek knowledge for the purpose of three things:
¤ To argue with the ignorant
¤ To contend with the scholars
¤ To turn the people’s faces towards yourselves

Al-Faqeeh wal-Mutafaqqīh [2/88-89]
The Khalifah, Muhammad al-Muntasir Billāh al-Abbāsi, [may Allah have mercy on him], said:
“The pleasure of forgiveness is sweeter than the pleasure of revenge.”
Siyar A’lām an-Nubalā’a, 12/44 | Al-Imām adh-Dhahabi [may Allāh have mercy on him]

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
“The person who treats others kindly and thinks well of them, will find that his intention will remain true, he will feel at ease, his heart will be sound and Allah will protect him from evil and calamity.”

Friday Sunan list
1 - Bathing (Ghusl) on the day of Jumumah (Bukhari 877)
2 - To wear nice clothes (Abu Dawood,)
3 - Use perfume ('Perfume' refers to men only, as it's not permissible for women in public) and use the Miswaak. (Ibn Majah)
4 - Going early to Jumuah Prayer (Bukhari 929 & Muslim 1964 )
5 - Walking to Masjid for Jumuah Paryer (Al-Tirmidi, 496)
6 - If the Saffs (rows) are already filled, one should not jump over the shoulders of the musallies in order to get to the front. (Abu Dawood)
7 - Try to sit as close as possible to the Imam. (Majah, Tirmidhi)
8 - Listening attentively to Khutba (Sermon) (Bukhari 934)
9 - Making a lot of du’aa’. [al-Bukhaari, 893; Muslim, 852]
10 - Seek the Hour: Rasulallah (sallahu allayhe wasalam) said: “There is such an hour on Friday that if any Muslim makes dua (Supplication) in it, his dua will definitely be accepted.” (Bukhari 935, Muslim)
11- Sins Forgiven: The five daily prayers, and from one Jumuah to the next, are an expiation for whatever sins come in between, so long as one does not commit any major sin. (Muslim, 233)
12- Increase your Durood (example: Durood Ibrahim)
“Recite Durood upon me in abundance on the day of Jummah since they are presented to me.” (Ibn Majah)
13- Recite Soorat al-Khaf
“Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, will have a light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next.”
(Narrated by al-Haakim, 2/399; al-Bayhaqi, 3/249. Al-Albani Saheeh al-Jaami’, 6470)
Allah says:
O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.
(Soorat Al-Jumu'ah, 9)
Don't Forget Allah:
Allah says: And when the prayer is ended, then disperse in the land and seek of Allah's bounty, and remember Allah much, that ye may be successful.
(Soorat al-Jumu'ah, 10)
Make sure to share this to others and tell your friends:
"Whoever revives a Sunnah from my Sunnah and the people practice it, will have the same reward of those who practice it without their reward diminishing" (Sunan ibn Maajah, 209)
Imām Ahmad b. Ḥanbāl said:
“If a man knows himself, the speech of people will not benefit him.”
● [Sīyar A’lām Al-Nubalā` (v. 11, 211)]
“Allah Almighty said: O My servants, I have forbidden injustice for Myself and I have forbidden it among you, so do not oppress one another.”
Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2577
Du’ā (Supplication):
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
“And of the diseases that afflict du’ā and prevent its response is that a person is hasty in expecting a response, and the response is delayed, so he gives up hope, and leaves du’ā.
His example is like that of a person who planted a seed, or a seedling, then guarded it, and took care of it, and watered it, but when it delayed in (giving its fruit) and reaching perfection, he left it and did not take care of it anymore.”
[Al-Jawaab al-Kaafi | P. 10]
Ibn Shubrumah [رحمه الله] said:
"I find it strange how people hold back from [certain] foods out of fear of getting sick, while they don’t hold back from sins out of fear of the Fire!"
[Al-Dhahabī, Siyar Aʿlām Al-Nubalāʾ, (6/348)]
