Hello! I just finished reading We're a lot alike in favor (like a motorbike) on ao3 and I absolutely love it. I just hope I'm not getting the account wrong… I like how you make Clavier and Ema's relationship stick to sex and (developing) friendship. And I was really shocked when I saw it in the notes that you didn't actually play the game! WOW And I like how you explored all those characters. They are so them and I think aa4 failed to show those in canon. And I like it that all the loves are expressed between characters like Edgeworth and Ema,Phoenix and Ema. That love includes more than romance and sometimes we really need to hear it spoken. I think this is the best fic I have ever read to deal with sex and feelings separately. You're great. I'm not sure why you didn't continue to post but it's definitely among my best-loved aa4 fics. And I wanna ask if you would mind my translating this work into Chinese. I'm not sure when I could get on with it as I've got several other projects rn but I have to ask. It'll only be posted on ao3 and directly linked to your original (Chinese law forbids me to do otherwise haha, we can't really post content including sex online. ao3 is relatively safe.)

And… I know it's not supposed to be attractive as said in your tags but it really is smth to see Ema bully Klavier or get control of him in bed…he deserves it.

YES! Absolutely! I am so flattered that you’re interested in translating my fic :') that means the world to me. Thank you for all the incredibly kind words as well, I’m so glad that my portrayal of the many (very complicated lmao) relationships resonated with you.

The fic is still technically in progress (I have been working on it, just at a very…verrrryyyy slow pace). Last year was possibly the hardest/busiest year I’ve ever had, but now that I’ve settled into more of a rhythm my goal is to have the whole thing finished by the end of the year since we’ve now officially caught up with the AA4 timeline. Hopefully this year (unlike in AA4) will be a lot less eventful.

You can get there easily from Bubbleton Farm Shop and Café (have a hot chocolate), or you can walk from Penally to Lydstep Beach without a raincoat* for the authentic Ruby experience (shoutout to the kind bus driver who let me come onboard even though my rover ticket wasn’t valid this far out - I was about to buy a single fare, mind you)

* It was fine actually. Teensy coastal downpour with a bit of wind at the start and plenty of sun after. The most important thing is to carry water and high quality snacks…
