I do believe it's time to get some cleaning done.
It's funny because I feel more like cleaning and getting stuff done after having a C-section than I did when I was pregnant.
Pregnant.
I’m pretty excited, but I’m a little sad to be putting Roller Derby on hold and the fact that I probably won’t be allowed on skates until this pregnancy is over makes me a bit sad. But it’s worth it for baby.
With that, I’m still going to do my best to stay involved with my league; I can’t just let these girls go after all they’ve done for me and I’m going to continue my health/fitness journey, but extra-safe now that Baby Q is coming and I’ll stop if need be if it’s damaging or unsafe for the baby.
Reblogged from my health and fitness blog.
This is what Jason does every time he gets near my computer. D'you see that look of concentration?!
Not only do I like your blog (haha I found it) but I also am OBSESSED with you secretly. Ok here we go.. I got this idea from a Tumblr spam I got once lol.. I think you like me too and you were always too shy to admit it :3 go to crushmatches(dõt)com (wtf it wont let me link regular) and make an account there. Then look up the profile 'gottagetme19' (me obviously) I left body pictures.. if you can guess who I am hit me up and we'll hang soon. You need a C C but its free
DAMN IT NO!
OH. And I forgot to mention that this apartment is seriously really, really nice, especially for what we pay rent each month.
Life is pretty awesome right now.
I've gotten two amazing things for my 21st birthday.
The biggest and most important/the best is this new apartment which is now the home for my perfect family. Getting a new home for my birthday is pretty damn amazing and my husband is the most wonderful husband I could ever hope to have. He honestly sacrifices everything for us and never complains. I wish I could do more to repay him, even though I know he doesn't do it for that. He does it because we're his family and he loves us and wants us to be safe, happy, and healthy. Seriously, this man is amazing. I love him so much.
Secondly, I got a new computer, which is really only partially my birthday present. The other part of it is the fact that it's payment for doing my step-dad's online courses. It's pretty rockin'. I'm not used to such a fast computer, seeing as how I've never had a new one in my life.
Anyway, that is all and I'm gonna lay down while my son is napping. <3
Following you has definitely been something else! I don't know you personally and even I'm excited for your son to be born! :P
Thank you, very much. I'm glad that my stories/posts are interesting!
i<3 your blog! congrats on your son :) i'm 36 weeks and my mucus plug recently came out as well..hehe i'm guessing our boys are just anxious to meet us :p
Sorry that I haven't answered your ask until just now, but for some reason my computer wouldn't let me. Weird. Anyway, yes! My son is now here, he came at thirty-seven weeks and is now two months old. <3 I hope you and your son are very happy!
Vaccinations are the devil.
Seriously, I know they're supposed to be what's best for him, but my poor baby is so miserable. His temperature is 100 and he won't stay anywhere for more than five seconds without screaming his head off unless he's in my arms. Which I don't mind, I love being able to comfort my baby boy. But! We are moving, so I do need to be packing, not to mention studying and finishing all my homework online just incase the internet falls through at the new place. Oh well. One night of comforting my baby is just fine and no one can blame me for it.
We got the apartment! We can move in tomorrow!
Finally, Some Good News.
So, there haven't been a lot of good things going for me or my family [My husband and I] for the past year. For almost a year now we've been living in my father's shitty, dirty basement, dealing with bugs, vermin, and flooding. Not to mention my father's extreme selfishness when it comes to money and food.
Recap: My father charges my husband 300 dollars for rent and utilities, which if we had normal income and we weren't living in that shitty excuse for a basement would be okay. It would be expected to pay that much, but the fact of the matter is that that basement isn't even worth 200 dollars for rent. As for the food situation, he charges us three hundred dollars, which is over half of the money that my husband gets, and then he has to pay another hundred for his phone, and more to put gas in the car a couple times a month, leaving practically nothing for food. Now, before my husband moved in with my father and I, he had no problem paying the bills by himself because I had a really hard time getting a job before I got pregnant. And then he had that extra 300 dollars, but who fucking knows what he spent it on, but it definitely wasn't food. So for two thirds of the month, we'd struggle to find some way to get more food (We had about 30-40 dollars in foodstamps]. Finally, I was approved for WIC, but my father decided he'd help himself to some of my WIC food, most notably, the half bag of salad he decided it would be okay to eat. Also, in terms of money again, he'd find whatever way he could to milk more money out of us. Once he even tried to charge me 80 bucks for my phone when my part of the bill only costs 30 dollars.
Now, I have some excellent news. Those of you that have been following me for a while know that my husband and I applied to these income-based-rent apartments back in early July. After months of waiting, we finally gave up and resigned ourselves to living in this house with my Dad... forever. Well, Tuesday, the apartments called back, finally! Turns out that some two bedroom apartments have been opening up and they wanted us to come in and do some last step paperwork. When we went in to finish the paperwork, we learned that because of the other people who had been ahead of us on the waiting list had yet to come in and do the paperwork, that we are now at the very top of the list!
The paperwork is finish and sent off to New Jersey so they can approve or deny us, and I am so excited. Most likely, we're going to be approved, because unlike a lot of the tenants... We have legitimate reasons for living in these low-income apartments. My husband being on disability and me being a stay-at-home mom helps our chances out a lot.
Something funny and sad: Apparently, at this place a married couple with their first child is a "unique situation", if that tells you anything about the people that live in this place...
So, yay!
And now, I, personally have a bit of exciting news. Thanks to an arrangement I've worked out with my step-dad concerning his college classes, I'm getting a brand new laptop before the 14th of November [my birthday]. Things are looking good.
My poor baby boy is feeling unwell and refuses to sleep anywhere but my lap.
The only time he's not crying is if he's breastfeeding or if he has his pacifier.
