Something about Ikusaba that I always find so interesting is how the narrative never once portrays her as a sympathetic uwu innocent victim of Enoshima who's just a hurt little girl underneath her soldier act - she's a mercenary, her hands are full of blood even outside of war and she is the only follower of Enoshima that has complete awareness of her actions and could have stopped her at any time, yet didn't.... yet the way the narrative brushes her off and even sweeps about her existence under the rug makes me sometimes feel sorry for her. Yes, she's terrible person, but at least acknowledge her like the rest

How when people think of the Ultimate Despair, they mention Enoshima or The Remnants or even the Warriors of Hope but never Ikusaba. How during Makoto's hallucination from the Despair video where he sees all of his deceased classmates, Ikusaba isn't there - Makoto 'I love everyone' Naegi, doesn't even acknowledge Ikusaba's existence. How in the end she is mostly forgotten by her own classmates and the ones who do remember her has probably forgotten about her as well or will soon forget about her.

Always Enoshima, but never Enoshima and Ikusaba.

Do Not Fucking Joke Around About Danganronpa/Zero Getting An Anime

#kuri.txt #there's a part of me that fears any adaptations of existing dr media because notably they're not very high quality or consistent #this is specifically abt the first anime + manga/novelizations that either didn't get finished or couldn't stand on its own to tell the full #story of what it's trying to adapt.#I also just think dr0 is so good it should just stay the way it is #it's not 'i don't want my favorite thing ruined'. it's 'i don't want the localization to be so bad it's a different thing entirely.'#after meeting ppl irl who like dr- I realized they like a totally different thing with the same name #I said I like steak and lobster and they said I do too - let's get dinner.#I show up to dinner and it's jarred baby food labeled steak and lobster. the DR1 anime adaptation was indeed a Sparknotes version of the game, but i did enjoy seeing a few things in motion, because it gives us a bit more insight into the characters we know and love.

my favorite little detail, for instance, is that Mondo covers up Mukuro's body with his coat after she's kebabed:

don't tell me that doesn't tell you a LOT about Mondo. it may be something you already knew or figured or headcanoned, but it's still fascinating and sweet

Both the PC (DMM) version of Starlight Stage as well as the connected VR application (Starlight Spot) will be ending its services on August 21st 15:00 JST

Various features from STARLIGHT SPOT are planned to be added into STARLIGHT STAGE (mobile ver.)

REGARDING COVER SONGS:

The following cover songs will be REMOVED from the game as of JULY 31ST 23:59 JST: - Hare Hare Yukai - God knows... - Bouken desho deshou? - Lost my music

All OTHER cover songs will be REMOVED from the game as of AUGUST 31ST 23:59 JST:

REGARDING MISC. EXISTING CONTENT:

The 3D Commu "Morning Radio Exercises No.1&2" will no longer be able to be viewed as of August 21st 15:00 JST

The Cinderella Theater will no longer be able to be viewed as of August 21st 15:00 JST
