part 2 | part 1 | part 3
It’s been a week. A week since Carson moved in next door, and every day you’ve dedicated at least an hour of your time to dig up any information on him. Such as his school, college maybe, commercials?, literally anything???
Nothing.
Not even a social media account. It’s like.. really disturbing. Either he’s a creep and an offender or he’s extremely down to earth and wise. No in between. When you told Hannah about it, she found it extremely funny and interesting.
“Cool… a mystery guy. So fun. Maybe you can crack him open and get the mystery to spill” She said. You are uncomfortable.
You slam your laptop shut in annoyance at once again another empty search. How? Genuinely how. Not even any school records. He can’t be real.
Knock knock
You glance toward the front door, your eyes squinting in suspicion. You stand up, and another knock comes. You open the door to see Carson.
He stands there in his black cap, a white, tight, tank top (damn what the fuck) and gray baggy sweats. He looks up once you appear in the doorway, and smiles.
“Hey, Y/N! Sorry to bother, but I just need some help. I know you work in that cafe, could you possibly help me with my coffee machine? It’s making a weird noise and nothing will come out.” He chuckles awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand.
You blink, a slow grin forming. “Sure, Carson.” You chuckle.
Entering his house, you’re shocked by the amount of boxes. A couch, table, and a tv that sits on a small dresser. The rest of the house are boxes. Except from the kitchen, there sits a microwave and a coffee maker. You smile at him, and approach the machine.
“I know, it’s a mess in here. I’ve got no motivation,” He chuckles awkwardly.
You nod and shrug, beginning to inspect the machine, removing the lid. “No big deal. I get it. Plus, if you need help i’m always available. My life is pretty boring.”
“Ah, thank you. Much appreciated.” He replies gently.
“Yeah, don’t mention it.” You smile, glancing at him. You bend down and look at the coffee machines spout, then hum. “Oh, it’s just clogged, Carson. All you gotta do is clean out the spout.” You smile and step back from the machine, then turn to face him.
He laughs and sets his forehead on his palm, “Makes sense.” He crosses his arms, “That’s embarrassing. I promise I clean my stuff.”
“I believe you,” You laugh, raising your hands in surrender. “I feel honored that you asked me for help, though.”
“You’re my only friend currently, so.”
You blink, “Oh.”
“Sorry! Not to make you uncomfortable,” He defends, shaking his head.
“No, no! It’s okay! I was just caught off guard, don’t worry about it.” You mutter, “I’m glad i’m a friend.”
He nods, “Me too.”
You smile and begin to walk toward the front door, but you halter. Then sigh, “Hey, question. Did you go to school?”
He looks over from his coffee maker, and meets your gaze. He blinks, then smiles innocently. “I was homeschooled.”
You nod, smiling as you purse your lips tight. You click your tongue, “Makes sense.”
“Whys that make sense?” He replies curiously, cocking a brow.
You blink, and a noise escapes your throat, kind of like a broken ‘uh’, “I don’t know, sorry! Just talking to talk.” You giggle, and nod again. “Talk to you later!”
You escape his home before you can embarrass yourself any further.
…
You noticed it when you first saw him at the cafe, but now you’re really noticing it.
Carson is beautiful. Plump lips, a big (but hot) nose, light brown eyebrows that contrast his bright blonde hair, brown eyes with a loving sparkle in them, pale clear skin, and a fucking hot body.
It’s truly infuriating. He is big. He is a big boy, yes. Large biceps, even bigger shoulders, a toned back, and you can’t even imagine the abs if you were to ever see them. It’s weird, this man is so mysterious, but so hot. This is some book trope shit.
You’ve honestly caught yourself analyzing how his teeth catch between his bottom lip when he lifts the boxes in his home, it’s embarrassing. No, you do not like him. But yes, he’s hot as fuck.
“Y/N?” He says quietly from behind you, and you flinch. His hand shoots forward to gently set on your lower back, “You okay?” He laughs.
You blink, your back unintentionally arching in his hold. Once realization kicks in, you laugh and step back with a nod. “Sorry, I’m a mess. I didn’t get much sleep.”
His expression visibly frowns, “Why not? You need sleep.”
“I—“ Can he stop. “I got home late, I went out.” You end up lying, smiling with a shrug.
He chuckles, “Okay, reasonable. It’ll slide. But you need sleep. Sleep over fun, always.” He smiles, and then turns to approach the box that sits outside of his bedroom door.
Oh yeah. You were helping him put the boxes in the correct room. Shit.
You push your own assigned box, following him into his room. It is dead empty, literal crickets.
“Not even a bed? Where do you sleep, Carson?” You say blankly, shocked.
He chuckles, pushing his box further into his room. “The couch.”
“No shot you can fit.” You laugh, turning your head toward him with widened eyes.
He genuinely cackles at that, “I’m not fat!! I’m just toned, I fit.”
You blink, shaking your head. “More than toned, respectfully.”
He chuckles, his ears turning red. He glances away, very clearly flustered. You giggle a little, “Sorry! I didn’t mean to like… disturb you. I meant it in a friendly way.”
“It’s alright. Much appreciated.” He hums, moving past you casually to his living room. “Welp, that’s it. Now i’ve just gotta unpack it all. Thank you for your help, that went much faster with company.”
You smile.
“You’re always welcome over, anytime. You’ll have to come for dinner some day. Get to know each other. As friends.” He says kindly, leaning against a wall that is placed near his entrance door.
You approach the door, beaming at his words. “Thank you! Yeah, for sure. It’s been really nice meeting you, Carson. Bye.” Then you leave.
Whew. Fresh air. Jesus, the air in there is sexy air. I need some innocent air.
Approaching your house, you sigh. Your phone dings as you turn the doorknob, pushing open the door as you grab your phone from your back pocket.
Hannah
Hey! Come by your place tonight? I’m in town with my parents! They had to go by the house, and my manager let me come.
You smile at your phone, shutting the door with your foot. Approaching your couch, you type back.
Y/N
Always! Maybe you can finally meet Carson☺️
She likes the message.
…
“It’s so relieving, and genuinely makes me feel like i’m gaining brain cells back.” Carson laughs, talking about music. His forearms are set on your counter as he leans forward, his face level with yours as you sit across from him on a chair.
“Makes sense. My best friend is an artist, I really enjoy her music. Other than that, not too big a fan.” You chuckle, setting your jaw on your palm, elbow resting against the counter.
He nods, “Fair.”
“Hey, speaking of best friend, she’s supposed to be coming by. Are you up for meeting her?” You smile as you reach beside him to adjust a decoration, asking casually, as if you only asked him to grab something for you.
It’s silent.
You blink, leaning back into your spot with a smile. “Hello? Earth to Cars— Carson?” You say softly, staring at his expression.
He’s quiet, and he truly looks like he’s seen a ghost. The sparkle you’d noticed in his eyes before, gone. His lips are tight. You stand up, “Carson, you’re scaring me.”
He looks up at you quickly, his harsh expression falling slightly to one of hurt.
“I’m sorry, I have to go. I can’t. Maybe another day, Y/N.” Is all he says, and he’s gone. He’s just gone.
What the fuck? Truly, what just happened? He looked like he just had a silent panic attack. Your heart is tight.
Plus, that hurt expression looked almost too much like—
“Y/N!!” Hannah calls from the entrance, smiling as she enters your house. “Wow, it is beautiful in here!” She chuckles.
You give a soft smile, approaching her. “Thank you, Hannah.”
She smiles, furrowing her eyebrows as she steps in for a hug. She wraps her arms around you, pulling you in. “You good?”
You hug her back, and smile softly after she lets go and steps away. “I’m okay, yeah. I don’t know— Carson just rushed off after I told him to meet you.”
She hums, nodding as she approaches my counter and lifts herself up, sitting on the end. “Ah, so a case of avoidance? Maybe he got nervous cause you wanted him to meet someone important to you.”
You shrug, and smile. That makes sense. “Yeah. Most likely. I’ll have to talk to him about it later.”
Hannah smiles, then gently nudges your arm with her foot. “It’s okay, babe. You guys have only just met like a month ago. Plus, you’re only friends right now.”
You shrug.
“Come on, sit up here with me. Let’s talk about it all. I’ve missed my best friend.” She coos, and you laugh as you follow her action and lift yourself onto the counter.
…
You approach his front door the next day, sighing as you make it to the top step. You feel so bad about last night, you just practically forced that. It was last minute, and random as hell. You want to apologize.
So you knock. Knock knock
You stand there silently after the knock, shifting your weight back and forth from your heels to your toes. Your lips are pursed together, as you stare off into space.
With no response, you lift your hand again to knock without looking at the door. You push your knuckles against the wood, only to find them meeting fabric that covers a stiff surface. You blink quickly and turn toward the doorway to see Carson.
You yank your hand away, “Sorry! I wasn’t paying attention!!”
He smiles, and steps aside to invite you in. “It’s fine, no worries.”
You hum in embarrassment, stepping inside his house. You hear the door slam shut behind you, then turn to face Carson. Immediately, “I’m so sorry, Carson. I didn’t mean to force you into meeting Hannah. I was just excited cause she’s my best friend and you’re my best friend here and I just knew she’d like you and, yeah. I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to upset you.”
It’s quiet for a moment and you stuff your face in your palms, groaning in embarrassment. Then you feel warmth against both sides of your waist, and a finger gently rubbing on each side.
You open your eyes to find Carson a few feet infront of you, and he smiles as your gaze meets his own. “It is okay, Y/N. I shouldn’t have freaked out. I just got nervous.”
You smile, and awkwardly laugh. “Okay. I’m glad it’s cleared up.”
It’s quiet for a moment as you guys hold eye contact, and you glance away with a huff. His smile grows. He lifts one hand from your waist, gliding it carefully up your torso and to the side of your neck. He pushes a strand of hair back, his palm resting against your, now red, cheek.
“I don’t talk to my family, nor have any friends as I mentioned days ago.” He starts quietly, “So i’m not great at socialization. I’m lucky I made it far with you.”
You blink once, then twice. Turning your gaze back to his own. Your lips are tight, and you chuckle softly.
“Yeah, you’ve about scared me off a few times. But i’m a brave person.” You tease.
He grins at that, scoffing, “Damn. Aren’t I a lucky man that got an unexpected chance?”
You giggle, and nod, your gaze shooting between his features. His beautiful, and unfairly handsome features.
It’s quiet now, but comfortable, as you guys hold each others gaze. Usually, this would be so awkward. But right now? With him?? You feel weirdly safe. So safe, that your face is involuntarily trying to meet his own.
It continues its path, until the warmth of his breath is felt against your lips. The heat drowning the cold that has lingered against your mouth due to the unusually low temperature of his house.
The warmth is so strong, it feels like your lips are already covered. But you know they aren’t, not when his lips push forward and finally hug your own. The heat of his mouth finally is at its max against your own, and he hums. His hand drifts from your waist to your back, pulling you closer with an arch of your back.
Your hands guide up his arms, holding gently onto his large biceps. Your palms not even being the full size of his bicep, his realization of that causes the kiss to deepen. His mouth parts cautiously, then continues once you do the same. You step back, his feet following you. The steps continue, until the back of your knees hit the couch.
You giggle and pull away for a moment, glancing back at the couch as you lower down. He smiles, staying on top of your body. His muscles pin you unintentionally, and he leans down once again. Your lips meet, and immediately begin to move in their own shared rhythm that you both have already picked up on. His tongue darts out gently, and your lips part, allowing it to enter. He groans at that, his fingers tightening against you ever so slightly as his hand drifts back to your waist.
You hum gently, your legs parting further to wrap around his hips. You interlock your ankles behind him, and his breath hitches.
“Shit, Y/N.” He whispers against your lips. He drags his mouth to the corner of your own, then your jaw, your neck, the nape of your neck, then to your collarbone. He nips there slightly, and that encourages a soft whimper to slip out from between your lips. He hums against your collarbone, then drags his tongue along the subtle teeth mark. He places kisses along where he did before, moving back up.
You tighten your legs around his hips, and he groans unintentionally against the corner of your mouth. You feel a stiffness grow against your thigh, and that causes a heat to pool in your lower belly. You move your hands from his biceps, setting them to the sides of his neck. He presses his lips back against yours with a hum, and you return the favor. You feel the stiffness against your thigh continue, and gasp at the feeling of his hips rocking once.
The heat in your lower stomach grows stronger, and you whine as you continue to kiss him passionately. His tongue or your own slipping in the other’s mouth occasionally. He rocks once more, the sound of both your whimper and his groan filling your ears.
It was as if the sound of both of your pleasure snapped you back into reality.
You cannot do this. You’re not this type of person, this means something to you.
Your whimper defies you as he rocks once more, his mouth losing his pace. He instead drops his face into the nape of your neck, licking gently as you whimper once again.
He rocks. Your grip tightens, “Fuck,” you whisper.
Then, you both stop. It was like that sound allowed both of you to realize what was going on. He lifts off of you slowly, and you allow your legs to drop.
He runs his hand down his face, “Shit, Y/N, i’m so sorry. That got so out of hand—“
“No, it’s okay, Carson. It wasn’t just you.” You say softly, your panting slowing down significantly as the coldness from his home begins to swallow you again.
You stand up, and he sighs as he adjusts his body to sit normally against his couch. You can’t help but notice the bulge in his sweats, the bulge that you’re gonna have to leave unattended.
But, it was a mutual thing.
“I’m sorry, again.” He mutters.
“It’s okay, really.. I’ll— talk to you later.” You say softly, watching him nod. You walk toward his front door.
Damnit.
guys i truly love this story:>

synopsis ⋆˚꩜。 hannah’s, your best friend, brother is prominent in your memories as a fucked up teenager. after growing up, you meet a man that reminds you a little too much of him..
genre ⋆˚࿔ in all parts there will be angst, smut, fluff, crack, lit all of above. in this one there’s chan angst, and that’s basically it.
cw: substance abuse, bruises and cuts from fighting, alcohol mention, family member loss mention, lmk if there are any others i missed!
part 1 | part 2 | part 3
You had met Chan for the first time when you were eleven. You and Hannah had just came running back from the town park, that sits just down the street from the Bahng family home. Honestly, you probably were there more than you were at your own.
See how, you’re probably like, ‘How did we not meet Bang Chan yet if we practically lived there?’
Yeah, let me tell you.
Cause the boy is a dick. He’s so very disrespectful, and he’s fucked up. He was never there, I say.
His dad first sent him off to a boarding school after Chris came home at twelve years old with bruises placed on his eye and jaw, and a cut slashed so deep into his lip and eyebrow.
You literally were astonished when Hannah told you about it, and that was around when you first moved across from the family.
Truly, Chris was just… a mess.
Hannah’s parents always were so confused on how he turned out that way, cause they had never induced any sort of terrible trauma. They decided they were just unlucky.
Unlucky. Unlucky with the kid they both worked to make, and unlucky with the kid his mom cried to push out.
So they just relied on Hannah. They were content.
Once Chan’s dad first sent him off, they just kept doing it. As if they didn’t even want them there anymore.
You could’ve sworn one day you heard them debating on sending him to a foster home.
When he came back eight months later, you were in North America with your family. Visiting the well known, New York City. Best vacation of your life, by the way. The pizza was so good. You’re not too big a fan of the crowd, but the view of the buildings were worth it.
So, he was home for about three weeks. Then, his parents caught him smoking weed.
So, right back he went.
He left two days before you came home. So it was as if he never returned from your point of view, you didn’t even know he did until Hannah told you all about it. Since you guys didn’t have phones, yknow.
So, that went on for years. Just repeated sending him away.
Now, you finally met him one day. He was fifteen, you had just turned eleven. It’s funny how you guys met, really.
You were upstairs with Hannah, watching youtube on her TV. Not even really paying attention, cause all you guys were doing was talking about missed moments while you were in Japan.
Your family loves to travel.
Hannah started coughing, so you offered to grab her water. You practically lived here, so.. you were extremely comfortable with the layout of course.
So, you rush down stairs. Grab a glass, and pour water. You turn and head back toward the stairs that lead to Hannah’s room, but immediately are met with a wall. You yelp, falling backwards as the water spills all over the floor. Luckily it’s hardwood.
You whine, rubbing your shoulder as you look up at the wall, ready to curse it out silently with the words you heard your mom use often.
But that is not a wall.
It’s Chris. He is however standing against a wall, but.. not normally.
“Chris?” You mutter, “When did you get home?”
“I’m not.. home. Go back upstairs, Y/N.” He mutters, his voice sounds.. weird. It sounds like his words are stuck together, and he can’t pronounce certain vowels. Does he have a speech issue? Hannah never said—
“Y/N??” Calls Hannah from the steps, as she steps down quickly to find you. “I thought you like, died.”
You just chuckle, and your gaze moves to Chan.
“Oh.” She says simply, “Hi, Chris. What are you doing home?”
“I’m not home,” he mutters again.
Hannah just groans, as if she knew it all. “Chris, you gotta go. If mom or dad sees you like this they are honestly going to disown you.”
Like this? What am I missing?
He groans, wobbly standing straight up, and stumbling to the back door. Then just leaves. Like.. what?
“Sorry, Y/N. I didn’t know he was here.” She says, as if embarrassed.
“What’s wrong with him? Is he just like that??” You ask genuinely, standing up slowly.
“No.. he’s drunk. He drank adult drinks, and it messes you up.” She says quietly, laughing awkward. As if trying to ease the embarrassment of her messed up brother.
“Oh.”
So, yeah. That was your first impression. Imagine that. Yknow you’d probably be like, gross he’s so messed up. But.. honestly? All you can think is, Jeez. I feel so bad for him. My heart feels tight.
Anyway, on from the backstory. Now, you’re twenty-four. You’re currently sitting in the bakerys back kitchen, snacking on a slightly burnt croissant during your lunch break. Hannah was supposed to come by sometime today, due to her being back in town.
You text her often, but ever since her tour began, it’s been hard to meet up or have a full conversation. She’s in town for the week to help her parents pack so they can come with her for the second half of her tour.
Honestly, you aren’t really expecting her to come. You’re not upset about it, not at her. She can’t control that. Work is work. Maybe a little sad just because you’ve drifted from your best friend, but you’re so proud. She’s really grown a lot and—
“Y/N!!! Please come out to the front we need help, there’s a rush.” Your coworker calls. You groan, shoving the last bite of the croissant into your mouth.
You put your phone in your back pocket, swallowing as you reach behind your back and begin to tie the brown apron back onto your torso.
You move efficiently the rest of your shift, being kind to even the most disrespectful of disrespectful customers. Once you’re about to close, you are humming softly as you wipe down the counters. The bell dings.
You glance up, hoping it may be your best friend.
Just a man with a cap.
So you sigh and give a smile, “Welcome! Can I help you?”
The man watches you intently, and you can feel the intensity of his gaze abnormally easily. You glance up at him.
Okay, he’s not an ugly freak. He’s pretty cute, disregarding the cut on his forehead.. and a few very prominent scars on his lip, nose, and eyebrow… and cheek. Wow. He’s got plump lips, and pale skin. His hair is bright blonde under the black cap, you can see it clearly.
You blink at his silence, “Hello?” You laugh.
He smiles, “Sorry. Sorry, I kind of spaced out. Could I get a long black and a bagel?” He says plainly.
You grin, cocking a brow. “So basic. Guess I should be appreciative though right?” You chuckle, setting down the hand towel and you slip on gloves and head toward the pastries. “Since we close in 6 minutes. Should I be asking why you’re ordering a coffee at night?”
He just smiles, “You’re welcome. And not necessary, just was craving it.”
You chuckle, glancing at him as you place the bagel in a paper bag and head toward the back counter where multiple coffee machines sit, along with mugs and plastic cups. You grab the cup, beginning to work effectively on the drink the man requested.
“How long have you been working here?” He says casually, and you glance back to see him leaning against the counter.
“Ah… Maybe about a year now. It’s been quite some time.” You say softly, grabbing a cup sleeve and the lid.
He nods, silent. Watching you move.
You’d be a liar to say that you aren’t uncomfortable. Cause like…
“I like your hair.” He says casually. He’s so casual and plain with his words, but this compliment had a hint of genuineness.
You smile slightly, still facing your back toward him as you add the lid and write a thank you on the cup.
Once done, you turn around and place the cup infront of him beside the bag.
“That’ll be 12.50$.” You say softly, and he hands you the exact change.
He smiles, putting his wallet back in his pocket as he grabs the coffee and bagel.
You watch him intently, squinting slightly as he exits. Honestly, the whole time you just had a large and uncomfortable amount of familiarity.. have you met him before?
…
“It’s so fun, i’m truly so grateful Y/N! I love doing what I do.” Hannah chuckles, and you feel like you can sense her smile through the phone.
You’re sitting on your porch, smiling throughout the call with Hannah. She finally got some free time to be able to talk to you.
“So, how’s it been? I know you just recently moved in to a place in Adelaide like three months ago, how is that?” She says kindly, the sound of steps and pens clicking around her. She must be at work, yet still found time.
“It’s been pretty good. The place is beautiful, my back porch view is so beautiful. Right now i’m on my front porch. I’m getting a new neighbor, so i’ve just been watching as the workers drag boxes into the house.” You reply.
“Oooh, have you met them?”
“No, unfortunately. Haven’t seen anyone besides a worker.” I say simply.
“Lame.” She sighs.
“Hey, how’s Chris? Have you spoken to him??” You ask, not being able to hold back the curiosity after he popped up in your head.
She goes pretty quiet, “No.. he kinda went ghost. Hasn’t replied to me nor my parents. Honestly, got no clue if he’s even still in Australia.”
You hum, staring down at the string of your jeans that you’ve been fiddling with unconsciously. “I just kinda feel bad for him. He was really struggling when we were younger, then after your grandma passed he just left.”
“I know. I’m sure he’s alright, hon. But i’m sorry to ruin this, I really gotta go.” She says hesitantly, “I’m so sorry.”
You smile softly, “It’s okay, Han. I get it. I’m glad I got to talk to you today, love you!” You say into the phone.
“Love you, bye!” She says quickly and genuinely, before ending the call.
You stare for a moment at the blank phone screen, then your head shoots up at the sound of a car pulling up to your new neighbors home. After a few minutes, a man walks out of it. Definitely not a worker.
He’s got a black cap on, a pair of baggy jeans and a black t shirt. He looks pale, and.. wait. That is the man from the cafe. You can tell after seeing the blonde peeking out from under his cap. You chuckle, what a crazy coincidence.
It seems he’s noticed you, too. Cause suddenly he’s approaching with a big grin.
“Well, would you look at that. Universe really wants us to meet.” He says, chuckling as he holds out his hand.
You smile and grab it, standing up then shaking it casually. “Guess so. I’m Y/N. Nice to meet you, neighbor.”
He smiles, and seems to be deep in thought for a moment due to his furrowed eyebrows, before replying. “I’m Carson.”
You nod, “So, what made you move to Adelaide? I can tell you are in fact from here, but what about city wise?”
“Well, I was born in South Korea, but moved to Sydney as a child.” He chuckles.
“Ah, I grew up in Sydney as well! Big city.” You smile, nodding.
He just smiles simply, observing for a moment. You just can’t help but stare at the familiar smile of his.. how do you know it?? How do you know him?
“You know, you really look familiar.” You say simply, brows furrowed.
“Well, I met you at the cafe you work at.” He grins, and you shake your head.
“No, no, before that.” You say softly.
He just blinks, then laughs and steps back. “Not sure. Maybe I look like someone you know.”
“Maybe..” You reply gently, then smile and let out an awkward chuckle. “You must have a lot to do, might wanna go work on it.” You gesture to his house.
He nods and smiles, “Smart. Talk to you later, yeah?”
“Yeah!” You smile, giving a wave as he turns and approaches his home. You watch as he walks up to a worker, gently tapping his shoulder then grabbing the large box from the workers hands.
You had to have met him before. Maybe it’d be normal to just let it go, but you can’t. You’re determined. You turn and enter your house with purpose.

"Investigating Outer Banks most haunted lighthouse"
part: 1, The Lighthouse
warnings!; I'm not american so correct me if sth is wrong; english is not my first language!!
notes; this is supposed to read like you're watching a video
previous part | masterlist | next part
"What's up, guys? It's Sam and Colby, and welcome to the most haunted lighthouse in the Outer Banks," Colby started the intro, his voice cutting through a shot of the towering structure shrouded in thick fog. Aerial footage of the lighthouse played, revealing its weathered stone walls perched on the edge of the rugged shoreline.
"This lighthouse is located in the Outer Banks, North Carolina," Sam informed the viewers, his tone equal parts excited and uneasy. "It’s been standing here for over a century, but the hauntings? Those only started about ten years ago with the death of the lightkeeper's daughter."
"And it’s our second time investigating a lighthouse," Colby added, nudging Sam with a small smirk.
"Yeah, maybe this one’s nicer than the last one," Sam joked, earning a laugh from Colby.
"The craziest part?" Colby continued, his expression shifting to something more serious. "The current owner of this lighthouse is actually related to the spirit we’re hoping to make contact with tonight. She’s the ghost’s aunt, and she’s agreed to let us investigate."
"This place has such a vibe already," Sam said as the camera panned to the lighthouse’s towering silhouette. The faint cry of seagulls echoed through the haze, and a low wind rustled the tall grass by the shore.
As the camera cut to Sam and Colby walking toward the lighthouse, the fog seemed to part just enough to reveal the silhouette of a woman standing at the entrance. A large white dog lay stretched out on the porch, its head lifting in quiet alarm as the two men approached.
"This is Anya, the current owner of the lighthouse," Sam introduced as the camera showed the woman standing by the door, with the dog at her side.
"Thanks for letting us investigate," Colby said.
Anya gave a brief nod. "You're the first strangers to investigate here. I haven’t really let anyone try before."
"So, what’s the story with the place?" Sam asked, glancing around.
Anya took a moment before answering. "It’s been in my family for generations. My brother was the last keeper, but he passed away years ago. Since then, I've taken care of it. As for the hauntings... they started not long after. We think it has something to do with my niece. She grew up here, and then... well, things changed after she passed. It's quiet, but sometimes you’ll notice things—footsteps, doors creaking, stuff moving."
"Do you think it's her?" Colby asked.
Anya shrugged slightly. "Could be. We don’t really know. But we’ve heard things, especially in the winter. The dog’s protective of certain spots, like a chair by the window. Never lets anyone near it. You'll maybe hear some humming."
"Any signs on the beach?" Sam asked, noticing the faint waves in the distance.
"Sometimes footprints. But nothing too clear," Anya said. "It’s been quiet lately, but maybe tonight you’ll hear something."
As she was about to leave, the elderly woman turned toward them. "During double digits on the clock, you can see her fall, " she hummed, before walking out the door, leaving Sam and Colby alone in the lighthouse. The dog, however, stayed put, curled up at the end of an old chair by the window.

“Colby, recite the alphabet backwards in twenty seconds, and if not, drink three times.” Sam stated.
“What?! How am I supposed to do that?” Colby exclaimed sassily.
“Come on, it's not that hard.” Sam retorted.
Colby sighed, “Z-X-Y-W-”
Sam cut him off. “Brother, you already fucked up.”
Colby rolled his eyes dramatically, causing us all to bust out laughing as he took a long sip of his drink.
I had been friendly with Sam and Colby for about a year now, thanks to being good friends with Katrina. This was the first time I had ever been over their house during a huge party; a real "Trap House party", as they described it. The music was loud and there were people all over their backyard chilling, dancing, and playing in the pool.
We all decided to stick together, playing a drinking game called 'Piccolo'. It was fun but lead to us finishing our drinks really fast.
"I'm all out. Do you wanna go in with me to get another?" Kat asked me, shaking her empty White Claw can at me.
I nodded, getting up with her. “Sure.”
Colby chimed in. “Can you grab me another?”
"We'll think about it!" Kat yelled back as we walked further away.
As we trudged through the doors and into the dining room/kitchen area, Kat turned back to me. "So, how are you enjoying yourself?"
“I'm doing alright for the most part. I do feel a bit... out of place, though.” I mentioned vaguely.
“What why?” Kat questioned.
Shit, I shouldn't have said that.
As a bigger bodied person, you kind of become observant to your surroundings, noticing when you're the only one like you in the general area. But I was trying to be better, not to be so self-conscious. I had been doing better recently, but I couldn't shake the feeling of knowing how much size I was taking up.
I didn't want Kat to know why I felt the way I did. I didn't want pity.
“Um, well, I just feel like I'm the only non-influencer here. I guess I just feel a bit... under-dressed. Not to mention I hate big crowds.” I semi-lied.
“First off, you look great. And secondly, you have nothing to worry about.” Kat grabbed two drinks from the fridge, handing me one. “A lot of people here are friends with Sam and Colby and aren't judgey towards people that aren't influencers. Just try to have fun tonight, okay? You deserve it.”
I grabbed another White Claw from the fridge for Colby. “I'll do my best.”
Sliding back through the doors, we got back over to the tiki hut were Sam and Colby were sitting. I handed Colby his drink and he nodded at me.
"Let me say the next question!" Kat shouted, taking Sam's phone from his hand.
She tapped through a couple questions, choking back a laugh when she stopped on one. "Oh my God."
“What? What's the question?” Sam raised an eyebrow.
She showed it to Sam, and he repeated it, growing quiet. "Drink three times if you've... ever faked an orgasm."
“Did you put it on crazy questions?” Kat gasped.
“You told me to!” Sam grinned.
“Well, I wasn't expecting a question like that.” She huffed jokingly.
Colby looked around the group. “So... has anyone done that?”
Sam glared at Kat, "Don't you dare."
“I wasn't going to drink.” She argued.
I sighed, grabbing my can and opening it up, taking three sips.
“Y/N, you've had to?!” Kat squeaked.
“That's what happens when you have a garbage ex.” I informed.
“Really?” Colby inquired.
“Yeah. He never cared if I got off or not.” I commented, “He also never went down on me.”
“Okay, tmi.” Sam mumbled.
Kat smacked his arm, turning back to me. “Seriously? That's terrible. What a loser.”
“I'll drink to that.” Kat and I tapped our cans together, taking a sip. Colby glanced at me as he brought his drink to his lips as well.
~~~~~
“Fuck! …Nice shot.” Colby rolled his eyes, taking a swig of his drink.
“Thanks. I'm surprised I'm good at this.” I snickered.
“How many times have you played?” He asked.
“Twice. This is my second time.” I smiled.
“Wow, you're a natural.” Colby aimed up his next throw, missing my cups and grimacing. “Are you having fun? I know Kat told me big parties aren't usually your thing.”
I picked up the ping pong ball, throwing it and getting it into Colby’s cups. “I'm okay. A little uncomfortable for a hundred different reasons, but I'm having fun.”
He cocked his head, removing the cup. “Why? What's wrong?”
“I just don't like being in big crowds of people. I kinda feel like everyone is judging me and how I look.” I answered truthfully.
“I feel that way sometimes too.” He agreed.
“I think my anxiety gets worse when I see that no one looks like me.” I continued.
He threw the ball and it landed in one of my cups. “What do you mean?”
Fuck. Me. There's no way to explain that away.
I bit my lip awkwardly, removing the cup. “Like... big.”
“Oh,” Colby’s face twisted for a second, but then he looked back up at me. “Well, even if that is the case, you shouldn't feel uncomfortable. Fuck anyone who thinks you aren't beautiful. Because you are.”
“You're a very good liar.” I snorted, lining up my shot.
“What's there to lie about? You're gorgeous.” He responded sweetly.
I missed all of his cups, sighing. “Okay, do you want me to throw the game?”
“Hey, you can't blame that on me!” Colby chuckled.
I sucked my teeth at him, narrowing my eyes. I glanced behind him for a second and froze, seeing someone a few feet behind Colby.
In all his terrible glory stood my ex, Eddie. His eyes landed on mine, and he smirked devilishly.
My eyes widened, my heart dropping. “Fuck me, he's here?!”
Colby turned around, confused. “What? Who?”
I rushed over to him, hissing. “My ex.”
“Your ex? The one you were talking about earlier?” He questioned.
I groaned. “Yeah, him. Fuck, he's coming over.”
Colby’s eyes landed on Eddie, side-eyeing me. “Was it bad when you guys ended?”
“Yeah, but that's not why I don't want to see him.” I faced Colby, my back towards my incoming ex, “Every time he sees me, he likes to embarrass me. Call me names.”
“He does that?” He muttered, shocked.
“And so much more, you have no idea,” I exhaled. Then a thought popped into my head, “Pretend to be my boyfriend.”
“What?” Colby blinked.
“Just say yes.” I pleaded.
Before he could answer, I felt an aggressive tap on my shoulder. I spun to see Eddie’s smug face. “Oh hey Y/N. I'm surprised you're here. Didn't think they let anyone and everyone in.”
“I could say the same for you. How's your follower count doing?” I jeered, my face dropping.
“It's fine.” Eddie glanced away, annoyed. Then he turned to Colby. “Well, aren't you going to introduce me, Y/N?”
“Eddie, this is-” I started.
Colby interrupted. “-Colby, her boyfriend. Nice to meet you.”
“Oh really?” Eddie hummed, leaning into Colby. “How much did she pay you?”
Colby furrowed his brows. “Excuse me?”
“I can only assume she paid you to take her to this party.” Eddie chortled.
“This is my house.” Colby deadpanned.
I could tell Eddie was upset, but he held back his jealousy. “Wow. That's crazy. You have a beautiful home.”
He kept his tone the same. “Thank you.”
“Why are you slumming it with her?” Eddie jested.
Colby turned to me, lowering his voice. “This guy can't be forreal.”
I exhaled. “No, he is.”
Eddie interjected. “Well, as her previous and only boyfriend, can I give you some advice?”
“Nah, I'm good.” Colby shook his head.
Eddie ignored him. “Just try to keep her away from the junk food. I know she'll she-hulk through a door to get some, so I suggest putting them up on a high shelf.”
I scoffed. “Not like you could reach the highest shelf either. You are only 5'7.”
“5'9,” Eddie gritted his teeth, glaring at me. Then he sneered, “I know it's been two years since you last saw me, but is it really that hard to remember my height, piggy?”
I felt my mouth dry up, my lungs inhaling sharply.
Colby stepped towards Eddie. “What the hell did you just call her?”
“Piggy.” Eddie’s eyes remained on mine, then he glanced up at Colby, putting his hands up defensively. “Oh, she knows it's a term of endearment. Besides, I wouldn't have to call her it if she wasn't so big.”
I hadn't heard that word in two years. And I thought with all the time that had passed, it wouldn't affect me the way it once did. But in the split second of hearing it, I felt like I was back in my old shoes again. Back in my old relationship with him.
I couldn't hear any more of his words, my eyes welling up with tears. I backed away and started to leave.
He said something to Colby, laughing loudly and drawing attention from the people around us. I didn't listen, my hearing and vision swirling around me.
I sped up my pace, not knowing where to go. I just wanted to be away from people, from him. I could feel everyone's eyes on me as I covered my face with my hands. I rushed to the side of Sam and Colby's house. The area was hidden away by a gate and all that was back here was some trash cans.
Couldn't have been a better analogy for my self-esteem.
I leaned against the wall and tried to calm down, my chest heaving. I wiped tears away with my sleeves, but they came back immediately.
"Y/N? Are you back here?" I heard Colby's voice suddenly.
"Yeah." I croaked.
"Hey, hey. It's okay. Come here." Colby walked up to me, pulling me into his chest.
I wrapped my arms around him, trying my best not to sob into his shirt. He rubbed my back gently, trying to calm me down.
“What a fucking asshole.” He pulled back, “Was he like that all the time?”
“In the beginning, no. He was really sweet and caring. And then half a year into our relationship, he just stopped being nice. He used to make fun of my weight all the time. That fucking nickname... God, I hated him for it and he knew it upset me,” I sniffled, brushing my tears off my cheeks. “I tried to leave him once and he begged me to take him back. And I did. I'm a fucking idiot.”
Colby cupped my neck, making me look up at him. “No, you're not. He's manipulated you.”
I swallowed hard, leaning into Colby’s touch. “He used to tell me all the time that no one would love me if I left him... that's why I stayed so long. Eventually I couldn't handle it anymore, so I just up and left.”
“You did the right thing. Fuck that guy.” He spat.
I quipped. “Would you believe me if I said that that was him being nice?”
Colby tucked a piece of hair behind my ear, staring deep into my eyes. “I'm so sorry. You don't deserve to be treated like that, Y/N.”
I didn't reply. I wasn't sure what to say, or if I even really believed his words.
“Are you okay to go back to the party? He went inside and he'll be leaving soon.” Colby asked.
I sighed. “Yeah, I'll be okay.”
~~~~~
It had been two hours since the whole incident with Eddie. Colby had made it his mission to take my mind off it, and he was succeeding... for the most part.
I still couldn't believe out of all the parties that were probably happening tonight Eddie had to be here.
I was relaxing with Colby's friends by the pool, but the lack of spots caused me and a couple others to have to stand.
Colby patted his thighs. “Y/N, come sit on my lap.”
“What? No, I'm okay.” I dissented lightly.
He scrunched his face up. “Are you sure? You've been standing for over an hour.”
I shrugged off the heavy feeling in my legs. "I'm fine."
“Do you want to sit down? Be honest.” Colby responded, looking me in the eyes.
I admitted bashfully. “…I do.”
“Then sit on my lap.” He argued, smiling.
I sucked my teeth. “I could squish you.”
“Don't think that's possible.” He remarked.
“I'm fine standing.” I affirmed.
“Seriously, just come sit on my lap.” He persisted.
“I feel like you're just flirting with me at this point.” I joked, snickering.
He stated, “Y/N...”
“What?” I puzzled.
"I'm not gonna ask again." His voice was low, his eyes almost dilating under the dim light of the yard. I felt goosebumps trickle all over my skin, my heart skipping a beat.
I ignored my feelings, rolling my eyes dramatically and coming over to him. I lightly sat down on his lap, his arms wrapping around me softly; one arm around my back and another rested sweetly on my knee.
He murmured. “Isn't this better?”
“I guess...” I pulled back, “I'm not squishing you, right?”
Colby rolled his eyes sarcastically. “I'll let you know if you do.”
I leaned my one arm on his shoulder, taking a sip of my drink with the other. Colby continued to talk to his friend next to him, his hand on my knee lightly rubbing slow circles. I gazed down at Colby's face, losing my train of thought.
Wow, he's hot.
I mean, I knew he was attractive when I first met him over a year ago, but up close and personal... he's something else entirely. His eyes were even bluer in person. His voice was so sensual.
And his lips... well, now I couldn’t take my eyes off them.
They were so plump and pink, just dying to be kissed.
Okay, where did that thought come from?
I took another long swig of my drink, trying to relax myself. My face was heating up from my own thoughts, and I didn’t want Colby to know I’ve been staring at him all this time.
Suddenly, I felt my phone vibrate in my lap. I glanced down at it, a text popping up from an unknown number.
You should stop sitting on his lap. You’re gonna break him with your fat ass.
Fuck... it was Eddie. He must have changed his number, since I blocked it right after we broke up.
“Who the fuck sent that?” Colby asked, staring down at my lap.
I quickly deleted the text, feeling embarrassed. “Um, I think it was Eddie.”
“How the fuck would he know you’re sitting on my lap?” Colby glanced around hastily, trying to find him. I looked too, and not a second later, I saw him. Eddie was hanging out across the pool, smirking at me. He waved, giving a little nod.
“He’s over on the other side of the pool.” I told him quietly.
“I told him to leave.” He grunted.
“Wait, you did?” I gasped lowly, questioning.
“Among some other things...” I furrowed my brows at Colby. He glanced up and continued. “I basically said if he didn’t leave, I would kick his shins in.”
“You could go to jail for that.” I replied lightheartedly.
“Well, I’ve gone to jail for much less...” Colby finally landed his eyes on Eddie, who looked away immediately. “Has he been watching us this whole time?”
“Probably.” I shrugged.
“Well... if he’s gonna stare,” Colby looked my body over, stopping on my eyes, “..maybe we should give him a show.”
I gazed down at him, my eyes widening. “W-what do you mean?”
“Can I kiss you?” He whispered softly, then smiled mischievously. “I mean, I am your fake boyfriend after all.”
I stuttered. “I-I don’t...”
“If you don’t want to kiss me, that’s okay. But I feel like he’s only bothering you because he’s upset you’ve moved on and he hasn’t. Why not show him what he’s missing?” Colby’s face got closer to mine, his breath fanning across me.
I bit my lip, glancing at Eddie from the corner of my eye.
I’ve let him have too long of a hold on me. I’m so tired of playing his games, and Colby’s right. This asshole is upset because I have someone and he doesn’t.
Granted, he doesn’t know the person I have isn’t actually my boyfriend, but he doesn’t need to know that.
I placed my drink down, taking a deep breath. “You know what? ...Fuck it.”
Colby smirked up at me, leaning in quickly and connecting our lips. I wrapped my other arm around him, lightly pulling on his hair at the nape of his neck. His tongue glided against my bottom lip as his hand moved further up my leg, caressing my thigh. As our tongues danced against each other, I could feel eyes on me, so I pulled away sheepishly.
“Um, maybe we should go somewhere a little more private?” I motioned towards the house.
He bit his lip, “Sounds good to me.”
I stood up, my legs shaking slightly under me as Colby guided me through the backyard and into his house. We made it into the hallway by the kitchen before he stopped and turned back to me.
He pressed me up against the wall, leaning down and kissing me again. I giggled against the kiss, his hands tickling my sides.
His tongue glided across my bottom lip. I opened my mouth more and he slowly slide his tongue in. His hands gripped my hips tightly, my body arching into him. My hands pulled at the front of his shirt, pressing him closer into me.
Colby pulled his lips away for a moment. “Can I ask you a question?”
“Wha-?” I mumbled, trying to catch my breath.
“Were you serious before...? About him not... pleasing you?” He inquired.
I sputtered, “Uh. I-”
“Sorry if that's a bit forward.” He chuckled.
“No, it's fine. I was the one that mentioned it,” I giggled. “But yeah. He never... pleased me.”
“And he never went down on you?” He asked bluntly.
I blushed, surprised at Colby’s words. “...No.”
“Hmm. Well then, as your fake boyfriend,” He trailed off, his hands drifting up and down my body. “I guess I gotta show you what you're missing …If you're up for it.”
I stammered, “Y-you mean like right now?”
“Well not right now right now. Unless you really feel like doing it in the hallway.” He stated cheekily.
I gaped. “Colby!”
“What? You're the one that asked.” He teased.
Colby pressed his forehead against mine, our lips grazing each other’s. His hand cupped my face gently, his thumb rubbing my cheek.
I shuddered out a breath. I wasn't sure what I should do. But before I could even really think, a 'yes' fell from my lips.
“Yes? You sure?” He raised an eyebrow.
“Yeah.” I nodded.
He beamed. “Okay.”
Colby grabbed my hand, lacing his fingers with mine as he walked me up to his bedroom. My heart thudded in my chest, my nerves getting higher with each step I took.
We entered his room, Colby shutting and locking the door behind me. I gazed around, surprised at his decor. I kept my back to him as I spoke. “It's very... dark in here. Almost like a dungeon.”
He smirked, closing the space between us. “You're not the first to say that to me.”
His lips pressed a kiss into my shoulder, then danced across my skin until he reached just under my ear. His arms wrapped around me, forcing my body against his. He nipped at my skin, my head falling back against his shoulder to give him more room. He continued kissing my neck, his hand snaking up my body. His fingertips traced along my collarbone; my heart almost banging out of my chest.
Colby whispered huskily. “Do I make you nervous?”
I hummed. “Clearly.”
“There's no need to be nervous, baby. Lay down on the bed for me.” My stomach fluttered at the sound of his voice; how surprisingly gentle it was.
I sat down on the bed, turning to face him. I pushed myself backwards until I was laying down, Colby following my movements until he was hovering above me.
He kissed my lips quickly, and then slowly moved down to my neck again, finding the spot from before. It was more sensitive now, the hickey beginning to form. My body arched into his again, a small whimper falling from my lips. I wrapped my arms tightly around him, our bodies pressing together.
Colby's kisses slid past my neck and onto my chest. His breath fanned across my skin, raising goosebumps.
His hands roamed my sides, rubbing them softly. "Can I take this off?"
I nodded, unsure of how my voice would sound if I spoke. He pulled my shirt up and off my body swiftly. His eyes danced across my newly exposed skin, a light blush creeped up my neck and cheeks.
“Gorgeous.” He marveled.
Before I could even register what he had said, his mouth was on my body again. He peppered my skin with kisses, his lips running along the tops of my breasts. I shivered against him.
Effortlessly, Colby's hands slid behind me and unhooked my bra. He lightly pulled it off my body, his eyes making immediate contact with my chest. I glanced away, but he cupped my face and turned me to look at him. “You are absolutely beautiful.”
“You don't have to say that.” I muttered.
“What?” He questioned, cocking his head.
Shit. “I-I didn't mean to say that out loud.”
“Hey, I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it. You really are beautiful, Y/N.” Colby assured.
He leaned down and pecked my lips gently, easing his way down to my breasts. I gasped as his lips kissed my nipple, his fingers tracing and teasing the other one. His movements were soft and tender, causing my body to shudder. I arched into him, and he smirked up at me. His mouth left my chest, and he inched his way down my stomach, leaving more kisses in his wake. He stopped right above the buttons of my shorts.
"I couldn't take my eyes off of you the whole party." He admitted.
“I noticed.” I joked.
Colby propped himself up for a moment, taking his shirt off. My eyes widened at his body, tone and sculpted like a god. The lines that dipped low into his pants made my mouth water.
He snickered. “You good there?”
My eyes met his, “Never been better.”
He leaned down again, bring his lips close to mine, but not kissing me. I reached up, trying to meet his lips but he pulled away, letting out a little chuckle when I glared. “What do you want me to do now, sweetheart?”
“W-What?” My voice faltered.
“Tell me what you want me to do. Use your words.” He commanded tenderly.
My breath hitched in my throat. The look in Colby's eyes made my hips twitch, needing some form of relief. I could tell from the way he held back a smile that he liked teasing me.
I traced my hand down his arm, lightly grabbing his wrist and pressing it against my clothed core. "I want you to touch me."
"Like this?" He cupped my sex, his thumb tracing up and down, pressing my wet panties into my clit.
I swallowed hard, my eyes closing in pleasure. "Just like that, yeah."
“But you need more, don't you? This isn't enough for you.” He cooed, rubbing me gently.
“N-no it's not.” I shook my head mindlessly.
He brought his lips to me ear, his voice dark. “What else you want, baby? Do you want me to taste you?”
I bit my lip hard, holding back my moans. "Yes."
“Say it. Say it for me darling.” He ordered.
“I want you to taste me.” I uttered hungrily.
“Gladly.” Colby's hands unbuttoned my shorts in record speed, sliding them off my legs even faster. He kept eye contact with me as he lowered my underwear off of me, throwing it behind him. His icy blue eyes made my body clench in arousal.
He leaned down, kissing and licking up my thigh until his hot breath fanned across my aching cunt. I swallowed hard, my hips moving towards his mouth.
“Eager, darling?” He grinned playfully.
I gulped. “Stop teasing me, Colby.”
"I can't. You're just so cute when you're frustrated." He smirked, then stared down at my thighs. He ran his hands up and down, my skin warming up under his touch. "God, your thighs are so sexy."
“They're big.” I grumbled.
“And sexy. Wrap them around me, baby.” Colby pushed my legs up, my thighs resting on his shoulders. He glanced up at me for a moment, a devilish look in his eye. Then, his mouth finally connected with my sex, his tongue gliding up my lips.
I shuddered, my hips grinding against his mouth as he plunged his tongue deeper. My one hand found its way into his hair, the other gripped the silky sheets on his bed. Colby removed his mouth for a moment, nibbling on my inner thigh.
“You taste so good, sweetheart.” He moaned, closing his eyes
I whined, “I need more, Colby.”
"Whatever you want, baby. It's yours.” His mouth connected with my clit, my hips bucking forward from the sensation. I couldn't hold back my moans as Colby applied more pressure to my clit with his tongue, rubbing slow circles. Suddenly, he slid a finger inside of me, my breath hitching in my throat.
“So wet for me.” He hissed.
I writhed under him. “Fuck, Colby! Please don't stop.”
Colby added another finger, curling them and pressing into me deeply. I could feel the buildup of my orgasm already, his motions bringing me so much pleasure.
He gasped, increasing his speed. “You're close, aren't you sweetheart? I can feel you tighten around me already.”
“Yeahhh, I'm close.” I panted, bucking my hips.
“I can't wait to be inside of you. God, you already feel so good!” He rasped harshly.
Colby replaced his fingers with his tongue, the change causing my body to quake under him. “Fuck yourself on my tongue, that's it baby.”
My hips bucked wildly against his mouth, a groan falling from his lips as I sped up. His fingers moved to my clit, rubbing faster and faster. His mouth and tongue devouring me. My stomach clenched as I hit the edge.
“Be a good girl and come for me. Do it, Y/N.” He grunted.
I cried out as my orgasm shook through me, my body obeying Colby. I thrusted against his mouth repeatedly as my juices leaked down my thighs. Colby moaned against my clit, my hips trembling against his lips.
"Such a pretty girl..." He whispered, his mouth trailing up my body, leaving sloppy kisses. He rested his forehead against mine as I caught my breath. "How was that?"
“It was… alright.” I breathed sarcastically.
Colby gasped, “Only alright? I'll have to try harder next time.” After a long pause, he cupped my face. "You ready to keep going?"
My eyes trailed over his body eagerly, “Absolutely.”
“Perfect. Get on your hands and knees and face the mirror, darling.” His tone made my pussy throb, his commanding but sweet nature. Colby slid off the bed, pulling his jeans and underwear down and off. I stared as his hard cock smacked against his stomach.
Not only was Colby better than my ex, he was bigger too.
I faced his dresser mirror, staying upright and watching him. He came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close. His hips pressed into my bare ass, his erection brushing up against my back. Colby leaned in; his mouth pressed against my ear. "Do you feel me against you?"
"Mhmm." I hummed, closing my eyes softly.
"You made me this hard, baby. This," Colby pushed himself even more into me, "...is all because of you."
He kissed and nipped at my neck, a sigh fell from my lips as he did. My thighs squeezed together in pleasure at his words. He pulled away and went to his drawer pulling out a condom. He ripped the package open with his teeth, taking the condom and slowly sliding it down his shaft.
“Get down, sweetheart.” Colby's hand traced down my back, stopping on the small of it as I lowered myself onto the bed.
He lined up his cock behind me, spreading my legs more. His tip traced along my slit, my body arching into him. “Fuck, I need you so bad. You ready, Y/N?”
“Please Colby...” I begged wantonly.
He inched himself inside of me, both of us moaning in ecstasy. His hands grabbed my hips tightly, pulling me all the way back on his dick. My body relaxed onto his member as we both remained still for a moment.
He pulled out slowly and eased back into me, starting a slow but sensual pace. His hands rubbed circles into my hips as he fucked me. Suddenly, he smacked my ass. A sharp gasp fell from my lips. “Fuck, your ass is so sexy, baby. I've been staring at it all night.”
“You have?” I peeked over my shoulder.
“Oh yeah. Couldn't take my eyes off it. Look in the mirror babe.” He lowered himself down and whispered, “Watch me fuck you.”
My body quivered as I looked forward into the mirror. My eyes traced the outline of Colby’s body. His abs clenched as his hips rocked forward into me, my body jolting with each of his thrusts. His chest glistened with sweat as he licked his lips and met my gaze. “Tell me what you want, sweetheart.”
"Fuck..." My eyes dropped away from his intense stare. "Go faster."
Colby picked up speed, the smacking of our hips echoing off the walls. He glided his hand down my back and to my hand that rest on the bed, grabbing it and pulling it behind my back, holding onto me. I couldn't help but mewl at the new sensation rushing through my body. “Look up, baby.”
I opened my eyes and stared in the mirror, watching Colby fuck me faster. I bit my lip hard, his thrusts making me want to scream out in pleasure.
“You're such a pretty girl. Look at yourself right now.” Our eyes met, and he slowed his hips down, “Say it, sweetheart. Say you're a pretty girl.”
I hesitated. “What?”
“Say you're a pretty girl for me.” He repeated.
“I-I'm...” I choked out, not able to finish the sentence.
Colby stopped moving his hips, pulling out almost completely. “I guess you don't want me to keep fucking you.”
I whimpered. “Noooo, don't stop.”
He snarled, “Then say it.”
“I'm a pretty girl.” I mumbled lowly.
Colby slipped his cock deep into me, starting his pace back up. “Again.”
“I'm a pretty girl.” I said louder, my voice desperate.
He thrusted hastily, his hand coming around and rubbing my clit. “Louder, darling.”
My eyes rolled into the back of my head as I bounced on his dick, the new added pressure from my clit making it hard to think. “I-I'm a prettyyy girl!”
“That's it baby! Say you're my pretty girl.” He commanded, pounding me harder.
I moaned helplessly, “Oh God, I'm your p-pretty girl.
“Who’s pretty girl are you?” He growled, gripping my hip and arm tightly.
“Your pretty girl, Colby!” I sobbed.
“Fuck yeah you are! God, I can feel you clenching around me again. You gonna come?” Colby asked, his voice hoarse.
My body vibrated against him. “Yessss.”
“Don't until I tell you, baby. Be a good girl for me.” He demanded.
“Fuck Colby I'm right there! Please let me come!” I begged, wailing.
His cock jackhammered into my pussy repeatedly, going harder and faster with each thrust. I squeezed around him as my moans got louder and louder.
“That's it, Y/N. Come for me! Scream my name. Tell everyone at this party who's fucking you!” His voice thundered.
His name and expletives fell from my lips, my cunt convulsing around him as my orgasm ripped through me. A second later Colby's high hit, his cock slammed into me passionately as his groans grew almost as loud as mine. I could almost feel myself blacking out from all the pleasure, my body collapsing onto the bed. Colby let go of my arm, his hand sliding away from my clit as he caught himself above me. His chest heaved against my back as he pulled out of me slowly, laying down next to me on the bed.
“Oh... my God.” He shuddered, turning his head to me. “Y/N, you okay?”
“Y-yeah. I... I’m so good.” I smiled breathlessly.
We laid in his bed silently for a couple minutes, time passing slowly. Colby traced his hand up and down my back, my body relaxing into his touch. My eyes met his, a light smile resting on his face. He leaned in and pecked my lips sweetly, then he pulled himself up and out of bed.
I turned over and watched Colby lazily get dressed. He pulled his underwear and jeans on, and then turned to face me.
“C'mon baby. We got a party to go back to.” He slapped my ass playfully.
“I almost forgot there was a party happening downstairs.” I sassed. As I sat up, my thoughts immediately drifted back to Eddie. My face twisted at the vision of him still being here.
“What's wrong, love?” Colby asked, cupping my face to look up at him.
I murmured. “Eddie.”
Colby stayed silent for a moment, his eyes narrowing. Then he spoke, "Don't worry about it."
He grabbed his shirt and pulled it on quickly, picking up his phone and calling someone. He stepped away from me, opening the door to his balcony and looking out to the party. I furrowed my brows at his actions, putting my panties and bra back on.
He stepped back in, a mischievous grin on his face. “Finish getting dress. I want you to see something.”
I laughed at his expression, throwing my clothes on quickly. Colby opened the door to his bedroom, pulling me out with him. I glanced down at foyer, seeing a couple people standing around, drinking, and talking. Suddenly a loud commotion echoed off the walls, a man’s voice yelling about being kicked out. Two big security guys pushed this man through the foyer towards the door, the man yelling at them.
I inhaled, covering my mouth. “Oh my god is that-?”
“Hey Eddie?!” Colby shouted down.
Eddie looked up at Colby and me, his eyes widening at the sight.
He waved and then flipped him off. “Get the fuck out of my house!”
Eddie bitched at the security but was forced out before he could say anything to Colby and me. I gaped at Colby, speechless.
"Now we can go back to the party." Colby smiled and winked at me, leaving my side to walk down the stairs.

"I cannot believe you guys persuaded me to sleep here tonight." I grumbled, throwing my bag down on the bed.
Sam laughed, "Well, at least you don't have the room Colby's staying in. The Haunted Prostitute's room."
"Hey now," Colby interjected, scrunching his face. "Her name is Lady Mandy and she was really cool when we did the Este's Method in her room."
I smirked, side-eyeing Sam, "He's just upset she asked for $20 from him but only $10 from you to stay the night."
Sam deadpanned. "That's because she knows he's easy."
"Or that you're not a good lay." Colby quipped.
Sam looked at him smugly. "I've never had any complaints."
"Can you two stop bickering and tell me what's up with this room..." I glanced around it quickly, "Other than it being old and a bit dusty?"
"This whole floor is known for having a sexual demon on it, an incubus possibly, that likes touching female guests. This room has had multiple female guests say they’ve been touched or scratched." Sam stated.
I sighed, "Awesome. Love that for me."
"Well, we have been on this floor all night, and nothing has happened to you physically. The only thing was those words said to you during the Este’s Method." Sam mentioned.
I shrugged, "Yeah, other than feeling like I had eyes on me. And nothing was said to me in the last EVP session we did either. But still... I don't like being on this floor by myself."
Colby gathered his bag, chiming in. "We are both gonna be upstairs. Just one to two flights away. If you get scared, I'm in room 505 and he's in room 610. You have our spare keys, right?"
I confirmed, "Yep. And you have mine?"
They both nodded. Sam continued, "Okay, let's head up. And remember to set up the time lapse camera once you're in for the night."
I gave a thumbs up lazily. "Gotcha."
Sam and Colby waved goodbye, Colby being the last to leave. "Hey, are you sure you don't mind being here by yourself? If you can't do it, we'll understand."
"No. I'll be okay. But if not, you'll be seeing me." I remarked, only semi-jokingly.
He inhaled. "Okay. I will probably be up for a while, so let me know if you need anything."
"I will. Thanks, Colby." I half-heartedly smiled.
He grinned, his dimples appearing, "Don't mention it."
He closed the door softly. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my beating heart.
I wasn't sure if it was beating because of the anxiety of sleeping in a possibly haunted room or the fact that Colby smiled at me like that.
It was a weird feeling, having a crush on both your friends. I had known them for years, seen them go through deep relationships and random hook ups. And now was the first time we were all single together.
There was never a time that my feelings for them weren’t here; always just under the surface. I pushed them to the side often because I would rather keep our friendship, that I held so close to my heart, alive and well than fuck it up with a relationship. My past dating history showed I wasn't ready for a new one, so pining for them from afar was my only choice. The safest choice.
But this also meant that because I liked them so much, I would do almost anything for them. Including going to haunted locations that I should not be in whatsoever.
I exhaled dramatically, flopping down onto the bed.
All things considered, this room wasn't the worst. Neither was this hotel for that matter.
I had seen the places Sam and Colby had gone to over the years. And there were much scarier places than this. The lore for this hotel was intriguing; especially this apparent incubus that the owner raved about, but nothing ever showed it besides a few choice words during the Estes Method. The lack of activity in this place is why the boys thought about doing time lapse cameras in our rooms to see if anything is captured while we slept. A cool idea, but not one I was looking forward to.
If anything shows up on that camera in the morning, I'm going to drop dead. Or at least shit my pants.
I pulled out my pjs from my suitcase, along with my carrying case of bathroom essentials. I trudged into the bathroom, flipped on the dull fluorescent light, and began to get ready for bed.
It was nerve wracking knowing that we were the only ones in the hotel, minus a stray two or three other guests all the way down on the first floor. The owners of this small hotel gave us an all-access pass during their off season to come in and investigate, which led to us having the whole place basically to ourselves. That was great in a way because it meant no one was going to interrupt our investigation.
But being in a hotel and not seeing anyone around felt like a liminal space. It also didn't help that the rooms we were staying in clearly hadn't had guests in them for months. The owners saved them just for us.
I finished brushing my teeth and washing my face, quickly changing into my clothes for bed; a big shirt and comfy sleep shorts. The room wasn't too cold or hot, thank God, so sleeping in these would be just fine.
I laid in bed for a while, scrolling through every app on my phone. I was nervous to sleep, unsure of what was to happen during the night. I prayed that nothing would, even if that meant Sam and Colby's video would be boring for fans.
Once I could feel sleep creeping up on me, I got out of bed begrudgingly and set up the time lapse camera. I crawled into bed, turned out the light, and stared at the ceiling. In the corner of the room, I could see the tiny red light of the camera, letting me know it was filming me. I turned over onto my side, closed my eyes, and somehow dozed off.
Because of how silent my room was, the littlest bit of noise was going to wake me. However, I didn't imagine I would hear my door opening and closing.
I popped my eyes open, my heart thrumming nervously. My body was cold with fear as I laid frozen.
"Y/N... you awake?" I heard a voice whisper.
I peaked out of the corner of my eye. Two figures stood at the end of my bed. I reached for the light next to me, flicking it on.
It was Sam and Colby, staring at me with semi-worried and tired expressions. I exhaled deeply, shaking my head.
"Holy shit guys. You almost gave me a heart attack!" I whisper-yelled.
"Sorry. We didn't mean to scare you. But... we gotta sleep in here tonight." Sam blurted out, coming around to one side of my bed.
"What why?" I mumbled, putting my head back down on the pillow, annoyed.
"There was some freaky stuff happening in both our rooms. Neither one of us can sleep, so we figured that we would just sleep in here with you." He explained, getting into bed behind me.
"Are the both of you sharing this bed with me?" I questioned sleepily.
"Yeah, if you don't mind." Colby replied, getting in on the other side of me; the boys sandwiching me in.
I yawned, "Whatever. You're lucky it's a king size bed."
Colby turned out the light, placing his head down on the pillow. "Night." He whispered. Sam followed suit, mumbling a 'goodnight'.
I hummed, falling asleep immediately.
I wasn't sure how long I slept, but I felt comfortable and safe squished between Sam and Colby. No dreams came, but when I stirred awake, I didn't feel all that rested. My body was warm, heat radiating from my cheeks and face.
I felt a light fan of air hit my face, a body very close to mine. A leg was tangled in between my own, a knee brushing my lower thigh. Behind me, another body was pressed against me, our backs touching.
"Y/N..." A voice murmured lowly.
I squinted one eye open, my vision adjusting to the darkness of the room; the only light coming from the moon peeking through the curtains. My eyes fluttered, and once they opened fully, I was face-to-face with Colby.
"Colby?" I said groggily.
"Were you having a nightmare? You were making some... weird noises in your sleep." He asked.
I muttered, "No. Wasn't really dreaming."
He shook his head, moving on, "Even though we didn't get that much evidence, this place does feel odd."
I agreed, "Yeah."
His eyes softened. "How does this room make you feel?"
"Um..." I cleared my throat, waking up a bit more. "Not as bad as the other rooms, I guess."
"That's good. You know, you had me worried there. After the Estes Method." He admitted, moving an inch closer.
I furrowed my brow, "Really? Why?"
"When you and Sam were talking about the words that were coming through, that lined up with sex demon... you looked really scared." Colby informed, his eyes meeting mine.
I was surprised, "I did? Hmm... I mean, it was creepy to hear my own name come through."
"What were the words that concerned you again?" He queried.
As I went to say them, Sam turned over in his sleep, his arm draping over my hip lazily. He exhaled deeply, a light snore leaving his lips. "It was my name, 'desire', 'tonight', and 'pleasure'."
"That's right. That is creepy." Colby frowned.
I snickered, "Right? No thanks."
He smirked, "Well you don't have to worry. Me and Sam are here to protect you."
I bit my lip, my eyes fluttering at his words. "That's sweet of you to say."
"We always want to make you happy, just like you make us." He responded, his tone sincere.
"You do. You both mean so much to me. Our friendship is everything to me." I answered candidly.
Colby grew quiet for a moment, the air suddenly feeling thick. I was growing dreary again, the silence lulling me back to sleep.
"Is that why you pretend to not have feelings for us?"
My breath hitched in my throat, my heart skipping a beat. I popped my eyes open, gazing directly into Colby's.
"W-What?" I stammered.
"You like me, and Sam... Don't you?" He raised an eyebrow, leaning towards me.
I shifted under his stare, my body growing hot instantly. My throat felt dry, mouth unable to form words.
Colby continued, "It's okay. You don't have to say anything. We already both know."
My face dropped as I studied his own. He was so calm about this, meanwhile my heart was about ready to burst through my chest. I swallowed hard, exhaling and ignoring Colby’s gaze. “How long have you known… that I-I’ve liked… you?”
"A while. Sam pointed it out to me once and then it just became noticeable. You’re not as slick as you think." He laughed quietly.
My mind was reeling, unable to process everything at once. I became acutely aware of everything around me. Sam was almost draped over me, Colby’s leg was pressed in between my own. I could feel their breaths hitting me simultaneously. My heart banged against my ribs, pulsing in my ears.
"Don’t be so nervous, Y/N," Sam murmured suddenly, his voice low and husky from sleep. "It’s okay if you like us."
I shuttered, "B-but our friendship-"
"Can still exist. Even if you like us." He commented, cutting me off.
"Especially if... we like you too." Colby added.
My eyes flickered to Colby’s face, widening. His expression was almost unreadable. But his words sounded simple, like what he said was fact.
"W-what?" I stuttered, my breath shallow.
"Is it weird if I say I thought you looked beautiful during the investigation? When we were reading the history of this place to the camera, and you were just watching us, it was so hard to keep my eyes off of you." Colby changed the subject, confessing and scooting closer to me in bed, our noses almost touching.
Sam hummed, his voice raising the hairs on my neck. "I liked the way you felt in my arms when you jumped into them when the R.E.M pod went off. I always wanted to protect you."
Colby agreed, "Sometimes we argue with each other when the other gets to touch you too much."
My eyes fluttered, my chest heaving with ragged breaths. “Are you guys joking right now?”
"We would never joke about this. You mean so much to us, Y/N." Sam spoke, quietly but firm.
"Can I kiss you?" Colby asked, pulling my attention back to him.
"Yes." I replied, shocked by my own voice. The desperation, the breathy word sounding foreign to my own ears.
Colby smiled, leaning in and kissing me tenderly. It was gentle, but I could feel his passion being held back by him. I breathed in the kiss, a whimper falling from my lips.
Sam’s hand snaked around me, up my chest and cupped my throat. He held me, pulling me away from Colby. “My turn, please.”
My head turned with Sam’s help, our lips locking instantly. He pressed his body closer to mine, his hips pushing against my ass as his tongue teased my mouth.
Colby’s leg moved up, separating my legs apart more, pressing into my core. My wet panties rubbed against my aching center, suddenly making me aware how turned on I had become by their words.
I gasped, ripping my mouth away from Sam. "W-what are you doing?"
"Just trying to make you feel good. Do you want me to stop? Whatever you want, I’ll do." Colby’s eyes narrowed, darkening with lust.
Sam’s mouth connected with my earlobe, nibbling softly. "Tell him what you want."
"Should we do this?" I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to reset my brain. It was hard to think with both of them so close to me. "If we cross this boundary, we can’t go back."
"If it’s what you want, then let’s do it. We just want to make you feel good, baby. Please let us." Colby pleaded lowly, his lips brushing against mine.
"Please, Y/N. We want it just as much as you do. Can you feel that?" Sam whispered, his crotch grinding against my ass lazily. I felt his growing hardness press into me, my mouth falling open in a silent gasp. Colby cupped my wrist, dragging my hand down his abs, stopping just above his bulge. I could feel it, clothed and erect, brushing up against my fingers.
Colby began to pull his leg away, his hold on my hand loosening. I gripped his forearm, shuddering a breath. "Don’t stop."
Colby smirked, a seductive laugh came from Sam. "Good girl."
He nudged his leg back up, his lower thigh pushing against my aching middle. I whined, feeling my body grind down against his thigh.
Sam's voice came out in a husky purr, "That's it baby, ride his thigh. Get yourself nice and wet for us."
"She's already wet. I can feel her through her shorts. She soaked through." Colby chuckled darkly.
"Really, Y/N? We barely did anything to you, and you're already this wet." Sam's lips tickled my ear as he whispered, "You're so desperate, huh?"
I nodded mindlessly, bucking my hips slowly on Colby's thigh. I couldn't believe this was happening. And I couldn't stop myself from enjoying the sensations.
Colby leaned forward, kissing me again. As he did, Sam's mouth found my neck, sucking and biting the sensitive areas. Hands found my breasts, making me moan into the kiss. Colby's tongue snaked in, my body growing hotter by the second.
"Fuck! Keep grinding against me, baby. That feels so good." Sam grunted, his clothed cock pressed firmly against my ass as I moved back and forth on Colby's thigh.
"Touch me, Y/N. Give me some relief, please sweetheart." Colby huffed, grabbing my hand and lowering it to his erection. I cupped him softly, rubbing my hand in circular motions. He sighed, his lips finding mine again.
I melted into the kiss, letting my body go on autopilot. I could feel myself getting closer to an orgasm, each thrust against Colby's thigh causing the pleasure to grow and grow.
Colby let out a guttural breath, pushing his dick harder into my hand. "We should have done this sooner. I can't believe we waited until now."
"I wanted you both for so long." I confessed, whimpering mindlessly.
"And now you can have us. Whenever you want." Sam hissed, his voice dripping with need.
I gasped, my hips bucking faster. I could feel a light layer of sweat form on my skin, my clothes sticking to me.
"You close, Y/N? Are you gonna come for us?" Colby's eyes locked with mine intensely.
I nodded, unable to form words, not trusting my voice.
"We barely touched you and you're gonna come. Imagine how good it will feel when we're inside you..." Sam smirked against my skin, breathing heavy.
I swallowed hard, "F-Fuck, I'm so close."
"Grind harder, baby. Ride my thigh like it's my dick." Colby demanded, his tone depraved.
I whined, panting as I sped up my hips. I gripped onto Sam's arm and Colby's shirt with my hands, needing to steady myself. I locked eyes with Colby, struggling to keep from rolling mine in pleasure.
"That's it, Y/N. Be a good girl for us." Sam leaned in, his lips pressed against my ear, "Come."
Colby narrowed his eyes lustfully, "Do it, baby. Come now."
Ecstasy exploded throughout my body, my orgasm hitting me deeply. I writhed in pleasure, bucking my hips with abandonment. I squeezed my eyes shut, silent cries falling from my mouth. My grip on the boys loosened as the pleasure slowed down. I mewled in a low tone, my body becoming heavy with sleep. My breathing steadied, the afterglow of my orgasm coursing through my body and lulling me unconscious.
When I woke, it was bright outside, the light cascading through the blinds and shining in my room. I was alone, my bed looking almost undisturbed.
I took in my surroundings, confused. A wave of sadness hit me for a moment. Did both of them really leave me in the middle of night? After everything we did last night, I hoped they would have stayed so we could talk.
My eyes widened as the camera came into view. Fuck! I forgot that was on last night. I stumbled out of bed, walking over to it awkwardly. I turned it off, saving the footage to the camera's storage. I waited for it to load back up so I could watch. I wasn't sure how much it would have caught last night, silently hoping the footage was suspiciously gone.
I began watching the footage, speeding through it as quickly as I could. I waited for Sam and Colby to appear, wondering what time they left too. I slowed the film down, my eyes taking in the events that unfolded. The door to my bedroom never opened, but I sat up in bed, turning the light on. I could see myself talking to something, flopping back down asleep. The light turned off on its own, no one getting into bed beside me. In horror I watched as my body twisted in pleasure, mimicking the movements I was making against Sam and Colby last night.
Or... what I thought was Sam and Colby.
That was all a dream. They never came into my room. They never confessed to knowing about my feelings or having feelings for me. They were never here!
The incubus...
I chucked the camera on the bed, a chill running up my spine. I raced over to my phone, texting Sam and Colby to come to my room ASAP.
They arrived a couple minutes later, confused as to my panic. I showed them the footage, watching them stare at the small screen in bewilderment.
"What were you dreaming about? Your body is moving... an awful lot in the video." Colby asked, looking up at me from the camera.
I blush, not sure what to say. Thank God there is no audio on the time lapse cameras. "Um... let's just say it was a NSFW type of dream."
"Oh...." He paused, then cocked his head, "Wait. Do you think it was...?"
"The incubus?" I suggested. Their eyes shifted away from me as I nodded, "...Yeah. At least, it’s possibility."
Sam gaped down at the camera, "Wow, that's crazy! This footage is unbelievable."
Colby snickered, trying to lighten the mood. "Who did you have sex with in your dream?"
My eyes ignored their gaze, "Uh... no one in particular. Or I-uh, couldn't place the face."
"Even weirder. I'm gonna take this back to my room and save it onto my laptop. I do not want this footage to get corrupted or accidentally deleted." Sam responded, leaving my room quickly with the camera in hand.
Colby stood in my room, studying me as I sat awkwardly on the bed. I bit my lip, doing my best to not meet his stare.
He stepped towards me, "Are you okay? I can't imagine what's going through your head."
I exhaled tiredly, "I've been better. I just can't believe that dream last night wasn't real. It just felt so..."
"Real?" He replied, biting back a cheeky smile.
"Yeah, I guess you could say that." I jokingly glared, rolling my eyes at him. But then I sighed, my shoulders slumping. "I should have known better though."
"About what?" He questioned.
"That something like that wouldn't happen." I whispered, unable to hide the disappointment in my voice.
He furrowed his brow, "Something like what? A man having sex with you?"
"The person... people, in question. They wouldn't have sex with me." I commented, standing up.
"Oh? There were multiple? Kinky." He remarked sarcastically.
I continued, "I confessed something to them, and they confessed back. I should have known that would never happen."
"Hey, you never know." Colby cupped my arm gently, "You are an amazing person, and anyone would be lucky to be with you, Y/N. Don't sell yourself short."
"Thank you. I appreciate that." I hugged him tightly, pulling him as close as I could.
"That's what friends are for." He stated, rubbing my back sweetly.
I tried not to wince at his words, nodding my head. "Yep... friends."
