We have a family friend who is the only person I truly fear in this world. She's this tiny old woman and would whip my ass in a heartbeat and I'd probably deserve it.

Anyway she is the pettiest person alive and I love it. Once a year on her anniversary with her ex-husband she sends him a Thank-You card.

Silly little headcanon (Stardew)

Wizards/Witches have beef with the postal system.

No one remembers why at this point, but it probably started with some wizard being a cheap bastard and refusing to pay like 2¢ more for postage over a hundred years ago and meeting their match in a stubborn mail clerk who eventually rose to some level of influence and banned the entire subset of magic users from using the mail system. Several young apprentices took to just transporting letters into people's mailbox and that became the standard of communication among magic users.
