Love...

To me love is not simply a word. Love to me is a deep, soul bound feeling.

To me, love is what I feel anything he's nearby, anytime he laughs at my stupid jokes, anytime he listens to me ramble about something I like without thinking its weird.

To me, love is the thing that I don't fully understand sometimes, I just know it's my only true descriptor for how I feel about him.

Love is what I fall further into every single time I hear his voice, see his face, see his name when he texts or calls

Love is a strange word to me. I don't feel it in the same sense as most. I don't understand romance or romantic attraction. I just understand that I want to spend the rest of my life with him, no matter how long or short that journey may be.

I hate the urge to hurt myself. Not because it's not good for me or because it doesn't do anything, but because I'm scared of my own parents.

Once I had a panic attack (caused by my father) and when I started hitting myself because that's just what I do for some stupid fucking reason my parents yelled at me. The panic attack happened because my dad pretended to smash my phone over a FUCKING ELA GRADE MIND YOU! This was 7th grade.

To this day I'm scared of my dad because he likes to yell and scream at us for the most bullshit things. I don't feel safe at home when he's around.

What's worse is the house is a fucking disaster, garbage everywhere, mice and shit, and apparently he's the fucking angel on my shoulder or some shit because it's only our fault, not his. He never takes fucking accountability, then yells at us about being responsible, and wonders why the fuck I don't want to be around him anymore.
