Pinning her hands down, he grinned with a triumphant expression as he looked down at Elena. “Gotcha!”

Tyler looked up as Elena said those words, not daring to believe them. His mouth parted lightly but no words came out. In that moment he seemed to want to do only one thing, and so he did. Closing the distance between them, Tyler cupped Elena’s face as his mouth descended on hers in a deep kiss that showed all the passion he felt but couldn’t seem to put into words.

It was a lot to get used to. Being back in the country, back in Mystic Falls, running a boarding school for supernatural kids. At least, until Caroline came back. There was no way in hell she was giving it back to Alaric. Then she heard the knock, “The door’s open!” Yes, this was her office now. Even if she and Dorian shared the responsibility, she didn’t trust the other man as much anymore. Though he was very opposed to what Ric had done. 

And those thoughts came skidding to a halt when she saw it was Elijah standing there. Usually, when she called for one of Hope’s guardians, it was usually Hayley or Klaus, and when they weren’t available–it was Freya. She hadn’t seen Elijah in about ten, maybe eleven years. And that was after a very memorable few nights where they had to be practically pried apart. Hopefully he wasn’t here for a repeat of that, she was a bit too busy for that as much fun as it would be and she need to talk to him about Hope. “I thought Klaus and Hayley would be coming.”

Elijah had finally seemed to have found redemption for Klaus in the form of Hope Mikaelson, his daughter and Elijah’s godchild, whom had finally helped the Original succeed in his lifelong mission of saving his brother. Therefore when there was a summons to the boarding school for supernatural creatures requesting a meeting with Hope’s guardians, Elijah was therefore curious to pay a visit. After all, it had been a while since he had last seen Hope. 

Stepping inside the office, Elijah was pleasantly surprised to see Bonnie at the helm. She had grown into an even more beautiful woman than the college girl he had spent many memorable nights with in the past. The smile graced his lips as he stepped forward, watching her expression before standing before her table. “They are currently preoccupied and since I was free, I thought I would pay Hope’s school a visit as it was required. Plus, it’s been far too long since I saw Mystic Falls and..you,” he added as his gaze moved over her slowly. “You have transformed into an even more beautiful and powerful woman, Bonnie,” he complimented lightly.
