“Never doubted you,” he mumbles. “Just myself,” Jamies admits. “It’s hard for me to let someone in, and I know you won’t, but it just makes it that much harder. Everything is telling to to-” he moans out, pulling him closer to ride out the quick wave of pleasure. “Oh God Bobby, right there,” he cries out softly in his ear. “Everything is telling me to cut and run, like half of my dupes.” He pulls back to look him in the eyes, “But for the first time in my life I don’t want to.”

TED PLACES A HAND on his hip and looks over at the other. “Oh, hello! I’m new here, totally.” He was glad that he was because if he wasn’t then he’d be dead right now. “I’m Ted, but a lot of people call me Blue Beetle. Who are you?” He says as he’s not too concerned with figuring out where he was.

Jamie opens his mouth to respond but before he can do so a dupe walks into the room. Looking at him, he gestures for him to speak. 

“Jamie Madrox, Multiple Man, you know, the OG Noir Detective at X-Factor Investigations in Mutant Town?” He pauses, “District X? Middle East Side of Manhattan?”

BOBBY FEELS AS IF HE OVERSTEPPED a boundary, but then again it was a sensitive subject he knows that much. He respects the fact Jamie doesn’t want to talk about his childhood. “Okay.” He says simply, catching the hint that this was a subject to move on from. He feels awkward as he pulls back from the embrace, suddenly feeling as if there was a little tension in the room. “Sorry.” Bobby says as he looks down for a moment, only to look back up when the subject changed.

He flashes a slight grin though. “You telling me we could be rich, Jamie?” Bobby teases as he looks at him. “Although I don’t mind not having much, never did have a lot, and I’m happy. I do like being an X-Man, and teaching.” He admits as he enjoys the life he has now. “You’re okay with that?”

Jamie moves forward and takes Bobby’s face into his hands. “Don’t be sorry,” he promises, pulling him forward to press a kiss to his forehead and then his lips. “You don’t need to be sorry, I’m the one that ought to be. I’m the asshole here, not you, never you.”

He shrugs at first, before eventually winking at him. “Wouldn’t be legal, but replicating small bills is an easy way to not get caught. 20s or even 50s can pass pretty easy. And when you go to a place where a few of them can pay rent for a year, well you’re laughing.” He nods, he knew he’d never be able to change Bobby. He went to the future once and met him amongst a group of others. Long before he would have ever gotten together with him for one drunken night. Bobby isn’t a man you can change, but he might be a man who you can convince to vacation somewhere nice with you. That just might be doable. “I’m more than fine with that. I knew what I was signing up for when you and I got together.”

“ALL OF YOUR DUPES CAN WAIT at least a few more minutes. I’m selfish, what can I say?” Bobby says with a grin as he’s kissing Jamie once more before he pulls back again to get a good look at his boyfriend. “Please do, just a bit longer. If you want, I’d hate to keep you from something important though.”

“You’re selfish?” he asks with a knowing smirk, shifting to settle into the other’s lap a bit more. “I mean, I’m sure they’ll be fine, not like I’ve ever been attacked by ninja before. I’m sure they’ll be safe knowing what they already know.” Jamie finds himself wrapped up in the kiss, and it’s enough to allow him to throw caution to the wind entirely. “How about you take me back to your bed over there and show me just how much you want me to stay?” he asks with a waggle of his eyebrows.

Jamie rocks his hips up against his, meeting the slow thrust with one of his own. “I know you won’t,” he smiles, keeping him close. “I know you’ll take good care of me,” he says to him softly. Jamie nods, hands pushing up through Bobby’s hair, holding him in place so he can tip his head back and bring their lips together. “I just like that you’ve actually found a way to get me to open up. It feels good to trust someone else besides my own dupes, y’know?”

TED PULLS THE BLUE MASK off his face, letting it fall against his back. “Dorothy we aren’t in Kansas anymore.” He says to himself more than anything as he looks up at the mansion in front of him. This would be home for now right?

“Aw cool, another new arrival,” a dupe says, pointing out the window. Pulling on his jacket, Jamie heads to the door to welcome him. It’s not that he was in charge of the welcoming party or anything, he just enjoyed fucking with them so he had a lookout squad formed who would call perpetual dibs. “Hey!” he calls from the door as he opens it once he gets down there. “You’re new here, right?”

The Worldmind was alert before he was, forcing Rich to rise with a start. He noticed he wasn’t in his uniform, but noticed a change of clothes nearby. He slowly waked out of the room he was in, a bit hazy at first before his vision cleared. He approached the first person he came across, trying not to sound too aggressive

“Hi. I got a couple questions. First, where am I? Second, where’s my helmet? And lastly, and most concerning, why is there no internet around here?”

Jamie smirks, fucking with the new arrivals always left him smiling. Nobody ever knew why they were here, and this was always a good time. Kicking his feet up Jamie takes a sip from his coffee as he leans back into his chair. 

“You’re in Westchester County, New York,” Jamie starts. “And I don’t know, probably wherever you left your bike, dude,” he shrugs. “As for the no internet part, you’re in 1973 my guy. Doesn’t even exist yet.”

Lips are soon brought to lips, the kiss slowly but surely opening up as they begin to explore each other in both new and familiar ways. Breathlessly, the Madri responds to Bobby’s words in kind. “I want you slow, deep and as thorough as you want. I know you won’t hurt me, but you can take your time. Smirking, Jamie revels in the feeling of Bobby pulling back, nodding at the words spoken. “Knew you would,” Jamie teases lightly. With his hips lifted a bit, he spreads his legs a bit further. Feeling Bobby push in, Jamie shivers at the contact. “Oh God,” he moans out. “You feel great.” Hands wrap around his back, pulling him back towards him. “You’re going to have to be gentle, babe, too hard and you’ll create duplicates.”

BOBBY REALIZES NOW that it was probably silly for him to react this way, but it was quite scary to see Jamie like that. “Well I just wanted to make sure.” He says as he pulls back a little to get a better look at him. He smiles as their lips are pressed together. “Why do you need to get up? Do you have somewhere to be?”

“You’ve made sure now,” Jamie insists, nodding against the hands pressed into his hair. Jamie smiles, turning to kiss the other’s wrist before looking back up at Bobby. “I mean, I really don’t, I kinda have to reabsorb and remake all my dupes so they can defend themselves with Kung Fu, but it can wait.” Jamie pulls a bit more, lips coming back together. “Maybe should I just stay here with you?”

Jamie shifts underneath Bobby, pressing down on the bed with his arms so he can push his hips up to meet the other’s. “You know I want you to,” Jamie moans out, licking his lips at the feeling of their hips making contact. “You know I hate being teased.” Jamie shifts his hips in Bobby’s hold, moving in time with their pants. “I want you more than you could ever imagine. Like you need water to use your powers. Like I need contact to duplicate.”

BOBBY HAS BEEN KEEPING guard while his boyfriend was going through the motions, not that he completely understands what was going on, but he trusts that Jamie will be okay in the end. He doesn’t realize how much time passes until it does, and he hears that familiar voice. Bobby turns around to look at Jamie with a smile, kneeing down to wrap his arms around him. “You’re okay!” He doesn’t say anything else or answer his question just yet. 

Jamie nods, smiling up from where he’s rested in Bobby’s lap. Head cradled, Jamie grins, shifting for comfort to get in an easier position to look back up at his boyfriend. “Of course I’m okay,” Jamie points. “I also know some Chinese now too. Just enough to get by.” Jamie moves up a bit more, tilting his head up to bring their lips together. “C’mon, you gotta let me up some time.”

“How about right fucking now?” he groans out, arching against the touch and finally moaning out when the other begins to tease him. If this was revenge for all the teasing Jamie did of Bobby, then this was going to be bad. Bobby had earned the right to make Jamie suffer, only to bring the pleasure later. And while he was by no means looking forward to being teased by Bobby, he knew he more than deserved it at this rate. “Please...” he begs. “Please don’t make me wait...”

BOBBY KISSES JAMIE BACK before he decides to lay down. He takes this moment to respond to him before everything begins. “I do appreciate you opening up to me, it means a lot. If we’re going to be in each other’s lives we have to be able to trust each other. Which doesn’t mean you have to tell me everything you do, but yeah – I know you can surprise me.” Bobby smiles, but then that quickly fades as he watches the convulsions start. Which makes him nervous, it was hard to watch so he turns around, deciding to keep his eye on the door instead for now.

For the hour he’s down it’s pretty run of the the mill. To Bobby it might seem as though it were touch and go, but that wasn’t the case. He’s always down about 60 minutes, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter, but only when the dupe is autonomous for six months or more. When he stirs finally, he’s smiling, eyes cast upwards at his boyfriend standing guard for him. “Hey,” he responds groggily. “Want to know what it’s like to be a Kung Fu Master? Because I totally know all of that stuff now.”

Just don’t act out, or draw attention to yourself. The ones that cause trouble get taken and don’t come back. I mean like, taken again. You’ve already been kidnapped. Welcome to your new hell.”
