I have wandered many places, but they’re all the same to me.

Welcome! This is an ask/RP blog for a character named Wyatt Harper, owned by Rain of the @eventide-paradox. Wyatt is a traveler of the In-Between, an immeasurably powerful eldritch being in a shadowy humanoid guise with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and experience. "Oh, it's got a couple of names- the Riftway, the Splitspace, the Mirrorpaths…the natives call it the In-Between, as do I. It's the space, well, in-between the universes and Multiverses that make up the sum total of reality."

"The Superplex, and it isn't even close. No, not the Pizzaplex- the Superplex. They had the best tech by far- a variant of me was in charge of their engineering division, so that was a plus- and probably why-"

*oh! A sandwhich has been summoned!*

"..."

-> Wyatt leaves the sandwich where it is. It seems that they aren't hungry at the moment.

How are you Wyatt, what’s the inbetween like?

"I'm...I'm fine."

-> Wyatt shrugs.

"As for the In-Between...it's a nice enough place, I suppose. It's quiet, difficult to damage...all in all, definitely one of the better places I could have ended up in."

It says your mental state is declining. I don’t imagine that’s a good thing. How could we help you not go insane?

"Oh, that? Nah, that's normal! I haven't been sane since...how long ago was it? Eh- can't remember, but it's been a pretty long time, ya know?"

-> A manic smile splits Wyatt's face for a moment before fading away into a more neutral expression, the blazing light emitting from his eyes pulsing as they rub their forehead.

"...I'm fine. Don't worry about it, okay?"

I guess? i mean feelings are subjective, and im usually wrong at guessing them.

"So it is, then. Interesting."

Uh. i've actually never known how to answer that question :D

"Fair, fair. Self-diagnostics are easy for machines. For me...not so much. I hate to make assumptions, but am I right in assuming it's similar for you?"

-> Wyatt closes their eyes for a moment, the eldritch glow in them subsiding slightly.

"Pretty good, all things considered- and you?"

-> Wyatt chuckles, waving at you through the veil.

"Oh- didn't expect you all to be able to initiate physical contact this quickly- gimme a sec, gotta note this down-"

-> The Mechanist pulls a notebook and pen out of the fabric of the In-Between, jotting down notes on a sheet of ash-blackened paper.

Any thoughts on vesper?

-> Wyatt's colorless eyes blaze with eldritch light as a bright smile splits their shadowy face.

"Oh, Vesper? She's great! I haven't seen her in a bit- I should probably bring them a gift next time I come around to their place!"

-> Wyatt raises a hand, blocking off your vision for a moment as he weaves a small plushie of a rabbit out of the void's light. "Here we go! What do ya think, random disembodied voice? Pretty good, right?"
