I said I would be posting projects again so let’s start off with a bang, say hello to the Encanted Rose from “Beauty and the Beast”

I’m so happy that Stewart from Scorpionridge Custom Creations brought me in on the project because this is such a stunning piece and to be able to say I was one of the two people to bring it to life is absolutely amazing. It’s also one of the most complex pieces I’ve had the pleasure to work on.

From the pedestal to the crystals to the lights, there is so much I love about this piece. I truly hope you like it even a fraction of the amount that I do.

For those who still follow me

I've been gone for a while and I apologize for that. Life got hectic and then personal problems cropped up. I'm still dealing with the thing that's kept me from being more active online, though it's calmed down significantly. Hopefully I can be at least a little more active so please forgive me if my posting is erratic.

You might also notice that the name is different (previously closetcostumes) this is because I've outgrown the name and wish to make a new start as not just a cosplayer but as a creator.

I've already got pictures and projects that I've yet to post, so I'll be working on posting those in the coming months though again I'm not sure how frequent these posts will be. I look forward to sharing my work and sharing my passion with you.

One last thing before I let you go, the name that I'll be using from now on is Kaven, Ven for short. Thank you to all who read this and I look forward to your continued support on upcoming projects.

I’m extremely proud of this piece as I drafted the pattern and created each piece myself excluding the petticoat. It’s quite comfortable to wear and sits nicely on the form. I’m glad to say that I can make this piece for someone else as I spent the time to cut out my pattern pieces out of the paper I have expecially for that purpose
