This sideblog was made from my unstoppable burning desire to see my rarepair validated, all freaks weirdos and fucked up little guys are welcome here, no matter what.

Any and all ships welcome, but mostly about jason/eddie (although I am also a big stonathan fan lol).

function as an RSS feed for the Jason Carver/Eddie Munson tag on ao3 (keep in mind that it is ALL fics in the tag. I moderate for glitches but all of them are posted)

As a sidenote: almost all of my posts are queued. There’s no queue tag because basically all of them are queue, but asks, original posts, and reply reblogs are always bumped to the top :)

Am I allowed to submit art? What kind?

Yes! We allow most art forms (traditional/digital art, edits, podfics, etc). Not sure if your submission “counts”? Message us!

Do I need to sign up anywhere? 

No sign ups required. The goal is to show the Munver tag some love, so post away!

Do I have to follow all the prompts?

Nope! The bonus prompts are just suggestions. We only ask that you stick to that week’s theme.

Is there a minimum/maximum word count for fics?

The minimum word count requirement is ~1k. There is no maximum.

Is platonic Munver allowed?

Yes!

Can I include other characters/pairings?

Yes, but the focus must remain on the relationship between Jason and Eddie.

Can I submit an existing piece of work?

Existing works may not be submitted, but continuations of existing works (ex. spinoff, sequel, accompanying artwork) are allowed. Not sure if your submission “counts”? Message us!

Do multi-chapter works have to be completed before/by the end of the event?

Nope! As long as you begin posting during the event, you can complete your work(s) at a later date.

Munver Summer is a month-long fest centered on the pairing of Jason Carver and Eddie Munson, hoping to give some love to the #munver tag! This fest will take place over the course of August and each week will follow a specific theme: Fluff, Angst, AU, and Free. Within these themes, we’ve also included some bonus prompts for further inspiration. You can check out the full calendar of themes and prompts here! 

Additionally, this fest is centered around both fanfic and fanart, with a few stipulations! You can read these rules and some FAQs here.

Jason coming home from a long shift at the hospital to Eddie, the pieces of their once large and intact big screen tv, and what appears to be a robot he'd made out of it.

"..."

"I can explain-"

Jason, walking past him and into the bedroom, another day another annoyance and Eddie.

"I'm going to sleep for thirteen hours and when I wake up there had better be a TV on that wall."

Eddie, having followed Jason, bashfully hold up his new robot.

"If I said I accidentally broke the TV before I made this would that make you less mad?"

Jason hits the bed face first, he'll be mad in the morning. He reminds himself I married this maniac I only have myself to blame.

There was a new TV on the wall mount thirteen hours later and the Robot was added to the collection of Robots made out of everything that Eddie has accidentally broken.

There are thirty seven.

So far they have spent $4750 on TVs for their studio apartment. After the new wall mount breaks (and gets turned into another very cute robot) the next TV Jason gets is an incredibly old CRT that is almost two feet deep and weighs seventy pounds, because Jason figures if Eddie can’t move the TV, he can’t break the TV, and he’s almost right!

They name her Big Bertha and she lasts a whole two years before one of Eddie’s jam sessions sends the neck of his guitar through the screen while they’re watching Duran Duran on MTV, and it shocks him so bad Jason has to take him to the hospital. But! The empty carcass of Big Bertha is large enough that they’re able to decorate it as a new home for the robots!

(Jason gets a mini projector next time.)

(Somehow, with the absence of a screen, Eddie goes through the wall.)
