The evolution of my visual diary in 4 months has really suprised me. I'm only in love with some of the concepts I've come up with and I'm really looking forward rolling adapting them in the fully flushed out pieces during the summer :3

Now I've FINALLY sussed out how to use my scanner I can actually capture some of the minor details/faint colours in my work! To kick start this, here's a colour study I did inspired by the work of David Bailey Ross to plan the foundation of a costume I'm currently making to represent my relationship with BPD and how it's impact on my life. Honestly might do some more of these purely for the fun I had, but I think this is a pretty good start as far as planning goes :)

With the help of my wonderful assistant (aka my amazing boyfriend <3) turns out covering myself in paint and rolling around on the floor CAN actually make something pretty cool. (There are more of these dw ;) )

Dave's Day Out

If I'm honest, I'm always looking for an excuse to do more series like this. I made this set 4 years ago and it wasn't until recently that I realise how much it communicated various aspect of my life and mind in a way I wouldn't usually go for. I'll save you the 3am ramble I'm risking going on while talking about my relationship with Dave and hope I can find ways to bring him back into my work.
