It always troubles Minerva to hear about other Arceus in danger or dying/dead. Which is strange, considering how all the Arceus on Ransei treated her and her dear.
murarius-omniba:
“Your work is quite complicated, I see,” Minerva hummed, floating over to the desk curiously, “Is this the other reason why you stay in the city? I suppose I can’t see something like this being easy to hide out in the countryside.”
“Especially with the power needs.” He chuckled darkly. “Keeping this much equipment a secret and powered ain’t cheap.” He began typing into the system. “Sadly, a lot of data that gets sent here is filtered out so I get the highlight reel, but that also means it doesn’t give me all of the finer details. I’m working on a job for a friend, trying to track down missing equipment and what it could be used for. Of course the console at home gives me the most direct answer, but not the correct one.” He sighed, his fingers flying across the keyboards. “Now I’m going to be stuck here trying to figure out what the right answer is.”
“I’ll admit, impressive as this is,” Minerva mused, hovering upside down above the desk, “I find it a little humorous that you were kicked out of work at home to ultimately take me down here to another work place.”
Her hands danced down over his shoulders and she nuzzled into his hair, “Take me for some interesting dessert after this.”
locke-hearts:
“Uh- Umm um. Hi, hinata.” She stuttered her name. Swallowing nervously, she tried to continue, “My brother said I should get a library card… and check out books. How does that work?”
Wow, what a cutie! Without waiting, Dalta had his tablet up and was ready to hand Hinata her new library card. It was a beautiful white card with a holographic feather on the front, along with her name and the name of the library.
“Here you go, dear,” he said warmly, holding the card out to her, “You just need to bring this card with you whenever you want to check a book out okay? And we have just a few rules for cardholders; you can only check out 3 books at a time for the first 30 days you have your card, our selection of ancient textbooks is only available to certain cardholders, and ancient texts are not available for checkout or photocopying.”
“All that said,” he stood up and started to come around the desk. For some reason, he felt compelled to not let her wander the library alone, “Is there a type of book you’d like to find?”
omegamanrp:
There was a singular chair in front of a large desk, filled with nothing but keyboards of different types and sizes. “This place feeds the console back in my apartment. Every bit and byte of intel that I get goes through here first to be processed, before sending it up the pipe to my place.”
“Your work is quite complicated, I see,” Minerva hummed, floating over to the desk curiously, “Is this the other reason why you stay in the city? I suppose I can’t see something like this being easy to hide out in the countryside.”
“do i really look like a kid………….”
“But isn’t it nice to be all small and cute?”
And harmless looking to outsiders?
#493 Arceus - It is told in mythology that this Pokémon was born before the universe even existed, that it emerged from an egg in a place where there was nothing, then shaped the world. Arceus’s powers were awakened immediately, and from itself it made time and space, matter and antimatter, and set Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina to guard them. It created spirit as well, setting Uxie in charge of knowledge, Mesprit in charge of emotion, and Azelf in charge of willpower, before falling into an eternal slumber.
Date Night [closed with Johnny]
murarius-omniba:
She was floating again, inspecting the curious loose bricks, the wall, the door, and finally the elevator, “I may have read one or two in the past. Am I going to get to play a spy today? This is already quite thrilling.”
“Nah, but you may enjoy what happens next if you start humming a few bars from James Bond or Get Smart.”
The doors closed behind her as he pressed a button on the console, then leaned up as a laser shot into his eye before a robotic voice spoke up. “IDENTITY CONFIRMED.” The box then started to move, down.
Minerva didn’t get either of those references, but she was momentarily awed by the laser. She gasped as the box began to move, though it shouldn’t have surprised her, as this was clearly an elevator. Still! How curious!
veileddreams:
She put the card away in her wallet before accepting the tote bag. It was very cute, and was likely to be used for maybe carrying around her sketchbook and pencils later. “By the way…What kind of books do you like? I like books with a focus on friends and team work.”
Eun’s ocean blue eyes seemed to glitter as Lunette talked about books. It was clear that he also had a deep love of them.
“My favorite kind of book?” He tilted his head, looking thoughtful for a moment, “I have to admit, I like poetry books more than story books. Mimi taught me and my brother how to read through poetry, so I guess it has a lot of sentimental value to me. I also like how poets express themselves and use words in unconventional ways.”
Date Night [closed with Johnny]
murarius-omniba:
“Oh!” Minerva gasped as Johnny took her arm. The speed and sharpness of his turns took her by surprise, so she opted to hover and let him drag her around. She didn’t set her feet back down until he let go over her.
“That was quite a little run around,” she giggled, looking at the wall curiously, “A great way to work off all those calories, at least.”
Said the goddess who didn’t do any of the work.
A small press on one of the loose bricks revealed a keypad built into the wall. 8 digit’s later, the keypad was hidden again as the wall next to it shifted and split open, revealing an elevator. “You read any spy novels lately?” He said with a grin as he walked into the box.
She was floating again, inspecting the curious loose bricks, the wall, the door, and finally the elevator, “I may have read one or two in the past. Am I going to get to play a spy today? This is already quite thrilling.”
lovely-battlecafe:
“Stories, huh? Would you like a copy of our research and records, maybe?” Satou asked, stepping up to accept her own card. “Shugo here is researching Nuzlocke and Sacred Children, and I’ve been tracing the recent influx of Shadow Pokemon.”
It was worth an offer, at least. They had to work hard to compile their research, so it made sense to make what they had learned easier to access.
“Research papers?!” Minerva gasped, clapping the tablet to her chest. She was floating now, her wings spread ever so lightly, “Oh, I have a few papers on Shadow Pokemon, but they are very old, same with my Nuzlocke articles. I’d love to have new works.”
She hovered around the three, “I don’t believe I’ve heard of Sacred Children before, but I have a feeling that that is the reason why your auras are so interesting?”
Date Night [closed with Johnny]
murarius-omniba:
“Oh? Is that so?” She said, setting her wine glass down, “Well, you’ve piqued my interest, good sir.”
Johnny smiled, setting down his own glass as the bill arrived.
A few minutes later they were back on the streets, heading down one of the main roads leading from the tower. Without warning, he took her arm in his and turned down an alley. Then another offshot of that one, followed by another. The alley’s were like a maze in this city, and it was easy to get lost if you didn’t know where you were going.
Upon reaching a dead end Johnny stopped. “Here we are.” He unhooked his arm and walked to the wall.
Said the goddess who didn’t do any of the work.
veileddreams:
“Alright….Thank you,”Lunette said, already looking through the books. When she finally picked out the three that sounded the most interesting, she made her way back up to the front desk.
“Eun…I found some interesting books…”She said, setting them down on the desk. “Do you like working at the library? It must be fun being surrounded by books…”
Eun was ecstatic to see Lunette again. He held up a beautiful library card for her to see. It was a shiny white material, adorned with an elegant holographic feather design, Lunette’s name, and 'Mulberry Library’.
“Ta-da, I have a card for your interesting books,” he announced happily, swiping the card and then handing it to Lunette. He continued to speak as he scanned the books, “Just bring this card with you whenever you want to check a book out. You don’t need it if you’re just going to return books. I love working here, Mimi built it herself and it’s a safe place for me and my brother. And it is nice to be surrounded by books, so many worlds and lives that I can experience.”
After scanning the the books, he tucked them into a cute little tote bag. The bag was purple and covered in clouds and stars, “Here you go!”
veileddreams:
That was a lot of fantasy books about friends. Maybe Lunette could make some more fake friends in her dream world from reading here. She started looking at some of the books, judging all of them by their covers.
“I do not know who Mimi is, but I like that they are clouds,”Lunette said,”It is probably cuter than any other way you could have them.”
“You think so? Mimi likes it too,” he said, giving a little twirl, “Mimi is like my mother, but not really. So me and my brother call her Mimi. She’s the Head Librarian, so you might meet her if you wander the shelves.”
“Please feel free to look around. I’ll prepare a Library Card for you in the meantime. Bring the books you want to check out back to the front desk and I’ll check them out for you. Just so you know, first time cardholders are only allowed 3 books per check out for their first 30 days. So choose wisely.”

murarius-omniba:
“Speaking of which,” Minerva set her fork down on her empty plate, switching to sipping up the last of her wine, “What did you have in mind for after dinner?”
Johnny hesitated a moment, swirling the last of his wine around before downing it. “I have something that I’ve been meaning to check on. And it’s something you should probably be aware of as well.”
“Oh? Is that so?” She said, setting her wine glass down, “Well, you’ve piqued my interest, good sir.”
spacial-tears:
“I’m Yuuto. Nice to meet you, Eun.” He bowed his head (not flirting,) and then glanced towards the shelves again. “I’m looking for books on some specific topics. Something called ‘Type:Null,’ to be exact. Do you have records on that?”
“What a handsome name!” Eun answered. He listened to his question, smile fading ever so slightly.
“Unfortunately, there is not a lot of information on Type:Null or its other typings.” He said, “I’d be happy to take you to what we do have, though. But first!”
He grabbed his hand and lead him over to the desk, “You’ll need a Library card, just in case you need to check anything out. Just so you know, we currently have three rules for our Library Card holders. You can only check out up to 3 books at a time for the first 30 days, ancient textbooks are only available to certain cardholders, and ancient textbooks cannot be checked out or removed from the library.”
veileddreams:
“While I do not mind fighting, I prefer friends,”Lunette explained, following him. Lunette was very distracted by his hair as they walked. It looked like a cotton candy cloud. “You’re hair is very…poofy,”she said,”It is cute. How do you get it to poof?” She made a small hand gesture to emphasize poof.
“We have plenty of fantasy novels about friends,” he said, leading Lunette down a row of shelves. She motioned to both, “The section starts here and continues along the shelves behind me. Everything fantasy and friend related.”
“Oh, thank you so much!” He poofed the curls and blushed, “I tried to make them look like my Mimi’s hair but it turned into clouds.”
