Hi guys. Itās me. Itās been a hot second since Iāve been a functioning member of society and after a lot of people asking me where Iāve been Iāve decided to just come out with a ridiculously long post about it because Iām dramatic and extra and you know I love a good long text post.
I think a lot of you already know that depression has been a huge (and unfortunate) part of my life and itās something that frequently holds me back from living the life I want to. My motivation flounders, I flake out of plans, and most days I feel like Iām drowning in a hapless mixture of perfectionism and complete apathy toward everything. Despite this, Iāve usually been able to keep my head above water.
But the past year has really kicked my ass. COVID-19 on top of several unfortunate and unexpected major life changes really took a toll on me.
During a particularly hard time and after a suicide attempt I spent several months in a behavioral hospital. Following my hospital stay I moved home and decided to take some much needed time off from the internet. It was quite a journey getting back to a healthy mental state.
I am happy to say that Iām now feeling MUCH much better. Now that Iām in a better place and Iām feeling stable again Iāve made the decision to return to the internet. I canāt promise Iāll post as often as I did in the past, but I do intend to start writing fanfictions and posting as often as my busy schedule permits.
