5 Reasons to use vinyl wall paper and graphics
1. It can be applied to virtually any surface
Vinyl is very easy to use and can be applied to almost any smooth surface, including painted or veneer wood, plastic, glass and metal. It’s a great material for promotion, and can be easily applied to vehicles and products as well as walls in business premises.
2. It's extremely versatile
There is a vinyl product to suit every situation. The only limitation is your imagination as our customers have used it stamp their personality onto their personal belongings, eg, laptops, lunch boxes, and tool boxes. Whereas Businesses, Creative Agencies and Interior Designers have used it to put their branding on products such as: alarm boxes, boilers, windows and even walls in their offices, bars and restaurants.
3. It's durable
Vinyl has a lot of advantages over traditional paper stickers, which easily crack and fade over time. All our products, including our wall graphic vinyl is made from premium quality vinyl produced by a leading German manufacturer. One of our outdoor vinyl products has life expectancy of up to seven years!
4. It's easy to remove
Tastes and fashions alter all the time, and that’s why we can offer a removable indoor vinyl option that can be quickly taken off causing very minimal, if any, damage to the surface.
5. It's affordable
The exact cost will vary depending the type of vinyl and the surface area, but as a rough idea indoor vinyl wall graphics start at £24 per sq m.*
Print and supply only, installation is an additional cost.
A week of refreshing the office with this fantastic bespoke self adhesive printed wallpaper. It's removable too, so no need for messy paste... Stick it, remove it, re-stick it, simple...Create a feature wall from any image or design
True or false? Comprehension + recall = PRINT
Do you get more easily distracted when reading complex information online as opposed to in print? If you are in an industry where you need to convey complex information to customers, read on...
Research carried out for a book called Words onscreen: The fate of Reading in a Digital World by Naomi S Baron, found that students were far more likely to skim read and get distracted when reading text online as opposed to reading print. The outcome of this was that their comprehension and recall were both poorer than it would have been, had they read the text in print.
Intelligent Editorial
Businesses that need to convey complex information to customers, eg Financial Services and Technology need to be mindful of this. They should also consider the fact that customers are more likely to want to keep documents containing complex information in order to refer back to it. Plus print also provides the ability to easily see the 'light at the end of the tunnel' when faced with reams of text.
Intelligent editorial needn't be boring either, illustration led design and info-graphics are a great way to present complicated scenarios in an easy to digest and understand format.
Advertising and recall of brand
According to Temple University neuroscientists, who used brand mapping to discover if people were more likely to recall an advertisement and its content if they saw it in print or online. The answer was that the same principles apply to advertising as to intelligent editorial, print lasts longer.
Optimal marketing mix for brand awareness
In order for marketeers to deliver their messages efficiently and effectively a multi-channel approach (across print, broadcast or online platforms) usually works best. The Millward Browns analysis suggests that print and TV outperform digital and TV across all relevant metrics. The print and TV combination shows that it actually gives digital and TV advertisement a recall boost. Therefore using print in combination can improve consumer’s ability to correctly associate the advertised brands with their respective digital advertising messages.

David Becker and ‘Alison’ at Murrayfield Projects Printing were absolutely excellent today (3rd February 2016). I called yesterday evening and was met with a very polite, professional greeting and specific information to ensure my job for a series of training courses was completed ready for pick up on the same day as sending the PDFs.
David called and e-mailed with an accurate and very competitive quote and, during the course of the morning, helped me to resolve a technical issue with the template we were using - a customised template rather than 'A4’. Overcoming this problem will greatly help our team in the future.
I collected the printing job from David at 1.30 on the same day from their easy-to-find offices and was really impressed with the care taken to ensure the training handouts were perfectly printed and sorted into the groups I needed, saving a lot of time.
I would recommend Murrayfield Projects to anyone wanting a professional, polite and very efficient service. A great customer experience. Well done!
Promotional printing and display for an event. A client came to us with a requirement for various branded promotional items including; 1m wide printed roller banners, rigid display board, z fold printed brochures, gift tags, printed table cloth & branded guitar picks. It all looks great, and here is what the client said...
“ These photos make me so incredibly happy, everything looks perfect. Thank you so much for all you hard work making this happen by our event deadline. I look forward to working with you on further projects” Stephanie, Seattle
How to make sure you don’t make an exhibition of yourself at an Expo!
Exhibiting at events, conferences, workshops and expos is expensive, stressful and hard work.
Whereas many of your colleagues may think this is a glamorous activity. The reality is that you will spend a whole day on your feet (trying to look as fresh as a daisy!) after carting large boxes of marketing collateral, laptops, tablets, demo products and heavy banners to the venue at 'stupid o'clock' in order to set up before the delegates arrive.
Although we can't help you with the early start, or the legwork and elbow grease required to get all the stuff to the venue and set up. We can help with the preparation before hand to try and ensure that your day runs as smoothly as possible, your display stands out from the crowd, and that all of your marketing collateral and promotional products look great and make the right impression.
Exhibition to-do list:
if your current display has seen better days or is no longer on brand order a new display stand plus accessories and posters etc. that are ALL on brand.
Check how much marketing collateral you have, and if it is relevant and up to date.
Make sure you have name badges and sufficient business cards for everyone manning the stand. (And make up a rota so everyone know who is doing what, when!)
Choose a promotional product that represents your business and reflects your brand (NB: Promotional product can take up to 8 weeks to be manufactured, so give yourself enough time to organise this and get what you want.)
Organise your travel and accommodation well in advance to get the best prices.
Pack a spare adaptor plus tablet and phone chargers and batteries (if required) and you are good to go!
8 Reasons why direct mail delivers
Ever since mail has been delivered to people’s doors, it’s been one of the most effective ways for brands to get in touch with their customers. Print has a powerful ability to perform a number of roles, such as:
raising brand awareness
improving sales
increasing footfall and
data capture tool
With customer engagement times averaging over 10 minutes, and 30 per cent of UK adults buying something after having received a mailing, direct mail consistently delivers.
Here's why it works:
1. The mail moment... Direct mail enters an individual’s home and is consumed on a one-to-one basis. This gives you much more time with your customer, time that’s invaluable in raising awareness, persuading, convincing and engaging them in a relaxed environment at a time of their choosing.
2. Sensory absorption The physicality of a mailing – the feel of it in your hands – adds another dimension to the brand experience. Academic research has proven that direct mail receipients experience a higher emotional intensity via direct mail than via email or TV advertising because the triggering of multiple senses results in quicker absorption of the content. Direct Mail, due to the haptic element of paper and the fact that holding paper in your hands also demonstrates ownership help to increases it's effectiveness. (Royal Mail Market Reach, Neuro-Insight 2013)
3. Make people act! Direct mail is the most likely form of communication to get a response from a customer, with the cost of every response measured with accuracy. Response data on direct mail is between 54 and 83 per cent of all mail opened, depending on the relationship with the sender and how well targeted it is.
4. Integration impact Direct mail also increases the effectiveness of other channels, especially online channels, for example Online media becomes 60 per cent more effective when combined with direct mail (BrandScience 2011). Another study based upon 500 cases shows that including direct mail in a multi-media campaign for services increases the total campaign ROI with 12 per cent (Print Power, BrandScience 2013)
5. Effectiveness and longevity Recent reports have demonstrated the enduring effectiveness of direct mail, it has a more powerful effect on long term memory than other media, e.g. 72 per cent higher than TV (Royal Mail MarketReach, Neuro-Insights 2013). Plus if your target market is the Millennials then you should know that a whopping 90 percent of Millennials are influenced to make a purchasing decision as a result of direct mail they received, as compared to only 78 percent for e-mail.
6. Get creative Direct mail is one of the most versatile marketing mediums available that can be produced in a wide variety of formats, shapes, sizes, colours and materials to create a memorable brand experience. Finishing techniques can add more depth to a mailing or sensory additions that triggering smell and taste can make your mailing a real sensation.
7. Fantastic ROI
There’s no denying that direct mail is an effective channel, especially in combination with other channels. Campaigns including direct mail were three times more effective campaigns without mail. (Royal Mail MarketReach, IPA databank Meta-Analyse Peter Field, 2013). Also the so-called Millennials prefer the combination of offline and on-line media.
8. Good for the environment Contrary to misinformed criticism, the paper industry has excellent environmentally-friendly credentials, because paper sourced through managed forestry is a completely renewable and the product itself is a completely recyclable raw material.
For this reason, anyone who wants to expand their businesses would be well-advised to consider direct mail. A well-thought-out direct mail campaign can yield fantastic results by maximizing ROI, reaching prospects, generating new leads and ultimately, increasing revenue.
