A birthday card I made for a coworker!
Finally got around to taking pics of this beanie!
Based on this pattern for a Bird’s Eye Cowl
It’s sweater weather!
I finished this a few months ago but never managed to take pics! It’s finally cold enough so I’ve been wearing it three days straight ‘cause why not?
When I first decided to knit a sweater I tried to look up a pattern, but as always, couldn’t find one I liked. So I ended up designing it myself like I usually do. Deciding on the cables took me forever, I have so many notebook pages full of different ideas and I tried knitting 4 or 5 different combinations and finally ended up with this one, and I gotta say I’m really happy with it!
The sweater itself is pretty simple, just a rectangle with a few decreases for the sleeve opening. The sleeves took me a few tries but I managed to make them work. They’re a bit weird looking but I think they’ll get better as I wear it more and the yarn softens. The sleeves and back are just double seed stitch/double moss stitch.
It’s not perfect, but I’d say it’s pretty nice considering it’s my first ever sweater!
The yarn is Hjertegarn’s Lima, colour 710, 100% wool
Oh, it’s so pretty!
Thank you!!
Here's another one!
Got some really good paper from work and had to try something! Haven't painted in so long, feels good to get back into it
Finally finished this pair! I really liked the ones I made a while back and wanted a similar pair for myself too!
Sneak peek of an upcoming project!
Ah, yes, the yarn finger crease
Got a couple of sock orders from co-workers, working on the third pair!
Getting started on a possible halloween costume 🎃🎃🎃
Made an ace bracelet (acelet) for pride!
Should I add more? Or just leave it like this?
Embroidery wip
Honeycomb shrink plastic necklace I made this week!
Used clear shrink plastic, punched some holes in it and added embroidery thread after shrinking. It kinda melted onto the plate I was using in the shrinking process so the plastic looks a bit uneven but it doesn’t bother me too much
Made these cute raccoon collar clips for a friend as a graduation gift! (Totally copied these ones)
I had a bunch of dried roses from my graduation party and I wanted to do something with them, so I put them all in this frame and I think it looks really nice! The problem with dried flowers is that they break easily and gather dust if left uncovered so this should be a pretty good solution
Re-organizing my crafts supplies a bit!
