~Visions for 2014~
Pictured above is my vision board that I have created, and it is a visual representation of everything that I want to achieve, feel and be in 2014, and in life. I went through all my magazines and cut out pictures which inspired, motivated and appealed to me, and it is placed on my wall which I look at every single day. I find vision boards a powerful tool to keep me focussed and be able to see the possibilities in my life.
I have written my goals on the boards, which are:
Fitness:
To compete in seven fitness events in Sydney: The Color Run (5km), SMH Half-Marathon (21.1km), Sydney Harbour Run (10km), City2Surf (14km), Sydney Tower Stair Challenge, Blackmores Sydney Running Festival (21.1km), Mud Run (7km).
Focus on progression and consider myself an athlete.
Make weekly workout schedules and goals.
Be healthy.
(I am so excited to compete in the abovementioned fitness events. I have never “trained” for anything and I really enjoy having proper goals to achieve. These will not only test my physical abilities, but my mental and emotional. I am so ready for that extra challenge.)
Career
Apply for graduate positions for 2015, and secure a job in a new industry.
Give total focus to current job and not be distracted.
Aim to enhance skills and gain new skills.
Be professional, every day.
(The prospect of gaining a new job in a completely different industry for 2015 is so, so incredibly exciting for me. After I decided to stop accounting in 2012, I have just been waiting to graduate and look for other jobs. Now the time has come- and I just hope I can find a job that I love.) Education
Finish remaining two subjects with distinctions.
Take leadership roles in group assignments.
Do all homework, and assignments to best of ability.
Graduate!!!

Be true to myself, always. Work on becoming the best version of me. Enhance my positive aspects. Don’t bring out my weaknesses.
Be happy. Don’t let other people dull your shine. Be the happiest person you know. Radiate sunshine.
Work on personal style. Buy beautiful clothes, and accessories. Build a wardrobe full of quality things. Treat these as investments.
Spend less time on technology. Be closer to nature. Read more books.
Travel. Aim to go to Melbourne and Queensland during the year, and Nepal + Singapore at the end of the year.
Make the most of weekends. Go to new places every weekend until Uni starts. Explore Sydney.
Maintain relationships with those you love. Make time for friends. Initiate dates.
Make new friends. Build professional networks.
Don’t take P for granted. Love him, make time for him, treat him well, always.
Treat my family with love. Be there for my siblings. Help my parents.
(I just really want to let go of the superficial aspects of life, and live simply. Spend time with my family. Tell my boyfriend I love him. Wear pretty clothes. Visit nice cafes with my friends. Feel beautiful, inside and out. Smile. Don’t focus on things I can’t control, jealously, comparison. Just be me.)
I am genuinely so excited for 2014. I am ready to work to achieve my goals, with baby steps. I am determined to look back at the end of the year and say “Wow. I did it.”
This is such a good idea - I may have to make my own given my blog resolution is to be more personable!
