We are closed at this time. But before we go, I’d like to make a statement.

Being a bully isn’t cute. RPT’s will be the downfall of this community, if it hasn’t been already. RP is meant to be fun, creative and not realistic. In the end, there were some people in this group who didn’t have the best intentions and because of them it’s time for us to end it and move on with other ideas. Was I a perfect admin, hell no. What I think people forget is that admins don’t owe you anything. I am not your keeper, I am not your parent, I am not your boss. Keep in mind that you are not mine either. To ridicule a character, a mun, a group, an admin....what do you gain?

My next order of business is to RPSLAYED and anyone who fears them, finds them enjoyable, finds them to be a source of knowledge. They aren’t. They are two normal girls, nothing special about either of them. I haven’t roleplayed with Deejay in a minute but she is a talented writer. Addy, you know your faults and flaws. You know why you do what you do. Making fun of me has become your life’s mission and while I appreciate the attention, aren’t you bored? We both know the real you and this isn’t it. Do you enjoy shit talking me and other creators on the internet so you get some sort of thrill or enjoyment? Does it help you sleep at night knowing the fake persona you give the internet? If the downfall of Cypress gives you reason to “celebrate” then I am so sorry your life is that boring now.

Thirdly, to the people in the future who want to create a space or creativity and enjoyment. Do it. Fuck the tags, fuck the rpc, fuck the rpt’s. You’re allowed to be here and create and thrive. You’re allowed to have a group of people who make you feel safe and wanted. Make what you want, you’re not harming anyone by being in the community as long as you’re spreading positivity and joy.

Lastly, I want to thank my friends and strangers who have stuck by me despite the false accusations and fake news created by children on the internet. I’ve been here a very long time and this community has been by far the worst I’ve ever seen. Twitter RP is dangerous to your mental health and I hope a lot of you come to realize that. Cypress was our home and we were a family and for that, me and MANY others, are forever grateful.
