An Injured Omega || Closed RP

“No problem,” Tony nuzzled Bruce gently. “Anything else I need to know about your heats, beautiful?” he smiled at the omega. Tony’d been with a few omegas, and the heats of each were always different so he wanted to be sure of how Bruce’s were going to behave before his knot loosened and both of them were enveloped in hormones again.

Bruce purred slightly, “N-not really. They’re just the standard can’t think straight until it’s over kind of thing.” He murmured. He nuzzled the alpha back gently, keeping his head close to the other’s neck. Although his heat was calmed down for the moment he still needed to be as close to Tony as possible.

“Gotcha,” the alpha nodded and kept rubbing Bruce’s back. It was likely that when the next wave of Bruce’s heat hit they’d be right back to this, but for the moment things were calm. The heat radiating off the omega warmed Tony’s body, and the alpha couldn’t help but want the moment to continue. “Just let me know if you need anything, baby.”

Bruce sighed happily and nodded. He kissed Tony’s chest and purred slightly. He couldn’t believe how amazing he felt at the moment. All of his life his heats had been horrible. No one would help him and the alphas around him were abusive… but that didn’t matter now. Tony was going to let him stay.

Tony smiled at the other man, gently running a hand through Bruce’s hair. “Rest if you’re tired,” he murmured softly. Bruce’s heat would likely wake him if he needed another round, but he might as well rest while he could. And Tony had no plans to go anywhere and ruin this moment together.

Bruce nodded. “Alright… you rest too.” He added quietly. In only a matter of minutes the omega had fallen asleep again. It wouldn’t be long before he woke again, but for now he needed to sleep.

“I will, promise,” Tony assured him. Not that he was likely going to fall asleep, but he could lie here and rest with the omega. When he was sure Bruce had fallen asleep the alpha settled, just enjoying the warm body beside him.

The moment JARVIS got through to him, Bruce had grabbed his own suppressants and ran to the gym. While he trusted everyone here, going through a heat without warning was not a fun experience.

He reached the gym and headed inside, “Elena? I’ve got some things that’ll help.” The other omega headed over and helped her to her room before starting to prep the suppressants, “Careful, these things nearly qualify as tranquilizers. They have to be strong for me, but a low dose should be okay for you. Do you want me to get anyone?” Thankfully his own heat wasn’t anywhere near starting, so Bruce should be fine.

He nodded and stood, making sure that his clothes were settled. Clint wished that he could definitely spend more time here, but for better or worst he had to get going.

A few days later he was back. If someone didn’t know better they’d think that he was trying to drown himself in the drinks. Finally the bartender cut him off, causing Clint to grumble and turn his attention to the dancers.

All the same girls knew that when a client started to drink, a better chance to get a drunken man’s money. Natalia was no exception to this rule. 

“Back so soon, baby?” She put a hand on Clint’s shoulder and smiled flirtatiously, now grasping onto his fingers to get him away from the bar. “Would a dance make it all better?”

“Shit hasn’t gotten much better,” he slurred, easily letting her lead him from the bar, “Think I’m ‘boutta get fired an’ there’s nothin’ I can do.” At least that’s how it felt. His boss always seemed to be double checking his work and looking over his shoulders these days.

The promise of a dance brought a sloppy grin to Clint’s face, “From you? Sure. Hang on gotta fin’ some money,” he paused and started trying to make his hands work enough to fish out a twenty from his wallet, offering it to her.

He smiled, “Pepper then. Thanks for keeping me updated on things. I’m hoping the Avengers haven’t destroyed anything important while they were saving the world?”

He smiled softly and offered Winter the wrapped present, "Happy Birthday. I hope you like it."

He tilted his head, looking down at the gift as he opened it. “Thanks, I–I what is it?”

That honestly caught Bruce by surprise, “You do?” People wanting to spend time with him was still a novelty to the scientist, except for Tony and likely only because Hulk fascinated him. He smiled up at the blonde, “I’m not much of a knight but… Yeah. Least I can do is help look out for you.”

“I can definitely tell you that I enjoy being around you,” he smiles, and moved to wrap a hand on the man’s shoulder. “I’m glad that someone’s planning to help look out for me.”

Bruce smiled. Some people would be worried that Winter was getting that close to them, but Bruce knew the man meant no harm. “Of course. You’re part of the team Winter.” Besides, no one should go through life thinking of themselves as a monster, but Bruce didn’t voice that opinion aloud.

Tony looked up when Pepper came in. Of course he knew why she was here; he’d been the one who did the blood test just to make sure that nothing leaked and nothing went wrong. And then he’d run it at least twice more. But the results were the same. Iris was his daughter. So he’d been wracking his brains trying to remember her mother to no avail. Honestly he’d probably been drunk at the time.

He sighed and took the message, reading it over quickly before looking back at Pepper, “I’ll give her a call tomorrow.”

Angrily, Steve spat at him, his saliva mixed with blood. He’d rather die than be a captive of his enemy. And eating food from Tony’s table may as well have been dirt and ash.

The king easily dodged, but suavely. “There is no reason for you to starve.”

Steve’s form seemed to still for a moment, then he shifted back into a man, a hand covering his crotch. Despite the nudity he stood proud, glaring at Tony, “I would rather starve than accept charity from you,” he snarled.

Tony huffed to keep his shock hidden. “Well then I shall keep that in mind..? I don’t know what to call you.”

Steve smirked, “Too bad, Stark. You don’t get to keep using us and getting away with it.” He wasn’t about to give Tony any more information than he had to.

Tony scowled. “You may address me as King but not by my last name.”

“You can’t control me,” Steve growled at him. Stark could cage his body, but there was nothing Stark could do to break his spirit.

“If you’re not a good boy?” Loki paused, as if he had to contemplate the very idea of Stark not doing as he said, “Then I suppose I shall have to tie you up and teach you a true lesson.” He trailed a hand along Tony’s shoulder, letting it tighten painfully with a sadistic smirk, “Unless of course, you want me to tie you up. In which case I shall bind you such that you’ll never be free without my assistance.” As he spoke whispered promises tendrils of rope appeared from seemingly nowhere, beginning to wind their way around Tony’s body.

He bit his lips to avoid grinning and pushed up to rub against Loki, trying to ignore the magic ropes and the hand on his shoulder, pushing him down. “You gonna tie me so it hurts?” So he liked predicament bondage. Sue him. “So I can’t even try to get away? Then I’d have to be a good boy for you.”

“Well that can certainly be arranged,” and with a snap of his fingers the magical ropes tightened, their force intending to yank Tony down against the table. Loki looked down at him, smirking as he trailed a hand down Tony’s spine and ending with a caress of his rear end, as if appraising a piece of merchandise. “You will be a good boy for me,” and this time there was no doubt and certainly no room for question.

“/Yesss,/” he hissed, trying very hard not to turn that into a ‘Yes sir.’ They hadn’t quite reached that point yet. He was pulled flat against the table, not quite comfortable, and the caress resulted in a little shiver of excitement at the easy way Loki was and always did manage to make him feel completely exposed and…/owned/.

Loki smirked, ending his caress with a painful pinch to Tony’s rear end. “Hm, perhaps I should brand you. Make sure everyone knows who you belong to.” He ran his finger across the small of Tony’s back, leaving the illusion of his personal insignia. It certainly belonged there, but Stark still had more fight in him than Loki enjoyed. He wanted to break the man. “Or perhaps once you’ve learned to mind your mouth.” Without warning he conjured a large dildo and started pushing it inside Stark’s ass, forcing the orifice to stretch.

Listening to the blonde’s response, Phil made the necessary notes. So his name was taken care of; the alpha would send a background check through later to double check that Mr. Rogers here was on the up and up. Employing someone with a record wasn’t immediately a bad thing, but he wanted to be sure of the man’s history.

Him not having a resume nor actual work experience certainly wasn’t a good sign though. Phil paused when he heard that the man, omega, was pregnant, peering at him with a critical eyes. Well he wasn’t showing yet, and most of the assistant duties wouldn’t require him to do anything more physical than walk around a bit. From a purely physical standpoint Steve should be more than capable, assuming he wasn’t carrying multiple pups or a larger than average one.

“Do you have any idea who the alpha is?” Phil watched him, “Do you have anyone to take care of your… needs while you’re pregnant? What is your housing situation and what would your commute be here?” Of course Phil had spare rooms, but if Steve had a home to go to and an alpha waiting for him there then Phil wasn’t about to force him to stay here.

Steve swallowed hard and nodded slowly. “I do know who the alpha is,” he answered quietly. “It was… an accident and he’d been drinking. He doesn’t even remember me.” He had to close his eyes for a moment, breathing slowly to settle himself down before he continued talking, opening his eyes once more. “I have taken care of myself since I was fifteen years old. I’ll be fine. I’m currently sharing an apartment with three other people and your home is about five blocks from the closest bus stop so, I’ll be able to take the bus and walk from there.”

Phil frowned slightly. Even if the alpha didn’t remember Steve then a paternity test once the baby was born would at least force the alpha to pay child support if nothing else. He made a note to require one when Steve’s child was born before turning back to the omega. “The winter up here is more brutal than any pregnant person should have to walk through, no matter how close. I’ll have a room prepared for you here in cases of poor weather or late working nights. Sometimes my hours are more hectic than I’d enjoy and I’ll need you on duty as long as I’m dealing with business. Is that alright?”

Clint huffed, trying to find Phil. He knew they'd had 23 pillows, but he could only find 21! "Phiiil?" He exclaimed, looking further for the alpha, pouting.

He was in his home office, going over some of the day’s paperwork when he heard his mate calling for him. Putting everything down the alpha stood and went to Clint’s side, “What’s wrong babe? What can I make better?” the alpha murmured gently to his mate.

The tension in his omega made Phil want to protect him all the more, so he set down his slice of pizza and wrapped both arms around Clint, nuzzling their foreheads together for a moment before he began rubbing the omega’s back, “You only need to ask. Our nest is safe and I don’t plan on leaving unless you need me to get something. We’re perfectly fine to stay here all night if that’s what you want, safe in my arms.” And he meant it too. Phil was nothing if not a devoted alpha.

STeve shrugged but didn’t really say anything more, closing his eyes and drifting off to sleep…

The next time Steve woke, it was late afternoon and he wasn’t hurting nearly as much as he had been previously. He managed to sit himself up a bit and reached for the remote to turn on the television that was in the room with him, flipping through channels to try and find some news…

He still couldn’t believe SHIELD had put him back on ice. And he couldn’t help but worry for Agent Coulson. Surely, he hadn’t just imagined that. He knew the man was alive and had helped him. He just needed to try and find him somehow.

Tony and Bruce looked at each other, then left. They wanted to give Steve the chance to rest if he was tired, and he almost certainly was. Every so often one of them poked their head in, checking to see if he’d woken up.

Bruce was the one checking when Steve started to rouse himself, and the scientist got a plate of toast and orange juice, setting it on the bedside table for the blonde, “Here. You’re probably hungry.” There wasn’t much on the news that was interesting, which was almost a relief. Bruce let the silence sit for a little while, hoping that Steve would eat something.

After a moment though he felt he had to come clean, “We looked into SHIELD,” he admitted, “Tony still has a back door into their systems and we tried to figure out why they put you on ice and if Agent Coulson was still there. He is. We’re still working on who’s idea it was to freeze you again though. Steve give yourself a few days to recover and we’ll get Phil back. He’s not in any danger right now.”

Phil left his meetings and hurried home, making sure to grab waters and food along the way.

The alpha wrapped his strong arms around the omega, keeping him close and gently rubbing his back, “I’m not going anywhere Clint,” he assured. If Clint wanted to feel him Phil wasn’t about to stop him. After all they were both touching skin to skin and he could feel the omega begin to heat up again.

He hadn’t meant to fall asleep in Clint’s lap, he was just so tired. And Clint was comfortable. The man snuggled closer, settled for the first time in days with his head in the archer’s lap.

“There won’t be a…” Phil’s eyes widened and he beamed, kissing and hugging his omega excitedly, “We’re going to have pups?” He nuzzled Clint happily, “I”ll get you anything you want, love.”

Clint smiled brightly, wrapping his arms around the alpha as he nodded, clinging to him a little. “Yeah, we’re gonna if everything’s going well.” he said softly, leaning up to kiss his mate.

Phil kissed him happily, gently rubbing the omega’s back. He couldn’t stop smiling. Even if he wanted to the alpha was sure he couldn’t. “Are you okay with our normal doctor for the pregnancy?” He wanted to make sure Clint had everything he could possibly wish for.

Clint smiled and offered a gentle nod. “Of course.” He said and smiled as he curled into his mate more. “There shouldn’t be anything wrong this time. So.. regular doctor is fine. ” the omega murmured, cuddling against Phil. “I love you.”

“Love you too Clint,” Phil purred happily. He wrapped his arms around his mate and gently rubbed his back, making sure that there was nothing in the world that could bother the omega. He wanted Clint to be happy, and if that meant holding him all night that’s what he’d do.

Clint smiled softly, all the worries in the world just gone for him as he curled into the embrace of his mate, the warmth he offered him. “I’m so happy..” he muttered, closing his eyes as he smiled softly, before he opened them again, looking up to kiss Phil once more. “Can we cuddle somewhere?”

Phil smiled down at the omega, returning the kiss with all the affection in the world, “Of course we can baby. Do you want to cuddle on the couch or in our bed?” One gave them the option of watching a movie or something while they snuggled and the other was, well, bigger. “We’ll go wherever you want.”

Clint smirked and gave Steve a little eyebrow waggle, “I’ll leave that one up to you, Rogers.” And he headed back to get changed out of his battle-dirtied clothes.

All American Coffee

Meeting someone else who who fought with their body to live a normal life was a bit of an eye-opener. In any case it strengthened Steve’s resolve to work harder, because here was living proof that they could have a normal life. Or, well, semi-normal at least.

Then Clint started naming numbers and Steve had to hold onto the counter and force himself to take even breaths so he didn’t trigger an asthma attack. Hundreds? He’d been expecting maybe fifty dollars, considering he was an amateur and Clint had no way of knowing if he’d deliver. “Two… Two hundred is good,” he managed. Two hundred dollars would pay for his books and supplies next semester, even if it wouldn’t do a thing for tuition. “So um, what do you need drawn?”

Clint nodded, “Two hundred, than! I can pay you half in advance and than half after you finish. And the free coffee. I’ll still give you free coffee,” he grinned widely before taking a deep breath.

What would he want to draw? Clint had no clue what he wanted. He wanted a badass logo, but he had no vision of the logo. “I want a coffee logo,” he grinned, “A real super badass logo, but I have no clue what it should look like,” he grinned sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck, “Uh, so yeah. Maybe you have ideas?”

Two hundred dollars. That would be enough for books and art supplies for the upcoming semester. Well, if he was smart with it anyway. Though with all the practice Steve had being careful with money there were no doubts in his mind that he could make it go far. That and free coffee would mean not spending his food money on that.

The artist smiled at the cafe owner, “Well for the overall company what do you want the logo to say? Do you want to forefront coffee? Pastries? You?” It all depended on what Clint wanted his brand to be. And later Steve could whip up some preliminary sketches for some of the specific drinks. First the brand was the most important.

Clint laughed softly, “As charming as I am I don’t think I should be at the forefront of the logo. Probably coffee, because that’s what I’m selling. Well, the main thing I’m selling. The best coffee ever, that is.”

He hummed. Yeah, he wanted coffee in his logo, or coffee something. Something that yelled delicious and fresh and spend money! “Y'know, something that’ll catch someone’s attention and bring them in. So yeah, coffee is most important. But be can add something else in if you think we should.”

Steve smiled at Clint’s laugh; it was good to know that his first real employer had a sense of humor. It definitely helped to take the edge off of some of the stress of actually getting paid to do what he loved. Of course that was the whole reason he was going to art school and suffering through many hungry nights, but that was beside the point.

“Alright, so something coffee-related for the logo. Um, maybe we can do something fun with one of your signature blends? Or if you have special cups that none of your competitors has we can exaggerate that, like maybe make a mascot version or something? Do you have any signature drinks or cups that’re iconic?”

Clint hummed. Signature coffee’s? He wasn’t sure. He had a few…unique coffees. Sure, like the sugar-and-spice and double cocoa delight. Which is more chocolate syrup with extra caffeine. As well as the kale fry and Pizza heaven but those aren’t really signature dishes.

But mascot. He knows mascots. Clint grinned and nodded, “I have a dog. Lucky. He’s a pretty good mascot, I think. He’s a golden retriever. He’s a great dog: one eye. Perfect mascot! His names Lucky.”

Already Steve was trying to figure out how to work with coffee cups. At least until Clint mentioned his dog. That, actually, would work great. People loved dogs. And no, it didn’t do a great job telling people what the store sold, but they could work with it, put some kind of coffee cup with the dog so that the message was clear. And, well, Steve wouldn’t mind drawing a dog. It was more interesting than coffee anyway.

He nodded, “That sounds great. And I don’t know how difficult it would be, but if your shop was dog friendly it would also help draw more people in with dogs. Um, do you have a picture of Lucky or something? So that I know what he looks like.”

Seeing his son leap into action made Bruce’s heart soar. His son was invested in science and learning. Bruce smiled at him, getting out a notepad and passing it over quietly. Scrap paper was fine, but he wanted Gavin to have every tool that he could for him to succeed. When he finished Bruce put on his glasses and studied both equations, frowning slightly before he smiled at Gavin, “I think you’re right. I had my coefficient wrong. Good catch.”

Gavin smiled a little proud of himself, it wasn’t every day you corrected one of the brightest minds on the planet. “Kind of curious what would have happened if you did that any eay though, the chemical reaction might have been interesting” Gavin said thoughtfully before he smiled a bit “So whats this for any way?” Gavin asked him curiously

Bruce smiled, “Just something I’ve been working on. I wanted to offer it to Tony so that he could put it into production. It’s a new type of chemical fire extinguisher.” He moved over to the bench and glanced down at the notes again before giving Gavin a smile, “Do you want to see what happens? We have the materials here and plenty of safety equipment. We could see what the chemical reaction would do?”

It was probably because he was drunk, but Clint grinned when he heard that Natasha wasn’t planning on kissing anyone. Somehow in his mind the idea came to try and be smooth. Of course smooth and drunk rarely worked well together, but Clint gave her a wink and tried anyway, “Ya know, we could kiss. Stand out less that way.”
