Why is medical Marijuana not utilised? Why is medical marijuana still illegal in many countries? Why can we not separate the benefits medically compared to the recreational uses that could in fact turn negative? Since researching medical marijuana I have found there is great prejudice and stigma attached to the use of cannabis as medicine. Many people cannot separate the benefits of the plant from the negative stereotypes found within the recreational practice of 'smoking weed' from my current research I have found that the difference scientifically between the strains is that in medicine the cannabinoids are high in Cbd and low in thc (Tch being the physcoactjve component giving the 'high' when smoked and Cba being the non physco active cannabinoid actually reversing the thc effect)
