starshot-hotshot:
"It’s not a problem, Kaito-san." For the briefest of moments, something flashed through her mind, a faint thought: Kaito-san has a pretty smile… But as quickly as it had come, it was gone. Her lips, the color of a soft pink peony, curled into her own smile. “I worry about it too, all the time, but…”
Her eyes fluttered closed again, as she simply let herself relax for a moment, still sitting up with her arms behind her to keep her held up. “Even if we weren’t made to, Kaito-san, we can feel emotion. The reason so many people follow our music is because they can hear it too. So…” She turned her gaze back to him. “If you keep singing, the emotions within you will blossom.”
"Yes, the more you say it, the more I feel convinced!" Flashing another smirk of white teeth, he proceeded to think about telling her what he just felt or not. Would he be made fun of, or called impossible?, androids weren’t supposed to have beating hearts, yet if what the petite person lying next to him said was true, she’d believe him, plus he was sure this girl right here wasn’t one to laugh at others but with others, right? Or at least he thought and hoped was true. Avidly enough, his choice was made and and the barriers that kept his voice inside, broke open. “Miki-chan, would you- no, do you believe that we can get our hearts beating?” That small question finally reached the outside and the possibilities of getting diverse answers was huge, yet he kept confident, now holding a grip of his shirt. “I think I felt mine not too long ago..”
