Maki Zenin x Florist!Reader

A/N: okay I’ll admit this is REALLY ooc and mostly self indulgent. I know Maki wouldn’t act like this but it was fun to write🤤 Reader and Maki are mentioned to be sapphic if that doesnt apply to you, you can ignore that part! WC: 1K

It’s been a few weeks since the green haired beauty named Maki visited your shop. You started to believe she wasn't gonna come back. You constantly checked your phone to see if maybe an unknown number texted you but nope. It’s okay though. You’re super busy anyways so it’s not like you’re disappointed right???

Right as you're lying to yourself about your lack of disappointment the bell to your shop dings and you look up. You almost drop the bouquet you're holding as you see Maki walk inside, looking directly at you like a woman on a mission.

“H-hey! You didn’t text! I was starting to think you'd forgotten about me!” You giggled nervously. Her intense stare makes you shiver. “I was going to, but I had…some stuff to deal with and my phone broke. I didn’t remember your number once I got a new one…” She rubs the back of her neck and you realize the intensity of her stare was meant to mask her guilt.

“Oh! In that case there are no worries. I wasn’t mad or anything. What were you busy with?” You asked, bubbly as ever as you pack a pickup order for later. “Oh just uh…school and work…” She muttered, knowing she obviously can’t tell you about curses and such, at least not until she gets closer to you.

“You must be stressed? Come sit with me while I pack this.” You pat a cushioned chair behind the counter urging her to sit with you. “I’d like that..” She sits next to you, watching as you carefully package the order. “If you want there's some tea in the back, I don’t really drink it but my employees say it's good for stress.” You hummed gently as you wrapped up the bouquet.

Maki doesn’t reply, just watching you in awe. She admired how gentle you are with your hands. Then she looked down at her own scarred ones. She thought about maybe leaving you alone. It’d be selfish to rope you into her dangerous world…but looking at you like this is making it hard for her to be rational.

“Who’s that bouquet for, hm?” She tilts her head slightly as she asked, though she's not looking at the bouquet. “Oh it's for one of my regulars, he's a kid who gets flowers for his grandma every week.” You finally finish packing the bouquet and move on to another order.

“That’s nice…do you have a lot of regulars?” She stands up and you feel her presence behind you. She sets her hand on the small of your back as her other leans on the counter. As you feel her breath on your neck you gulp. “Well uh yea i-it’s mostly people in the neighborhood uh you're really close.” You shivered as you spoke. You avoid her gaze nervously.

“Is that a problem?” She takes the hand that was on your back and uses it to hook under your chin and tilt your head towards her. “Well uhm I guess not.” Your face heats up and your hands pause on the rose you're holding. Maki suddenly realizes how close the two of you are and pulls back now a heat rising to her face as well.

Maki clears her throat and you look at her again. “So how often are you here? Do you just spend all your time picking pretty flowers?” She gestured to the rows and rows of pre-made bouquets. “Well yea! I love it here. I always wanted to be a florist cause I just really love pretty things and flowers are so pretty! ya know?” Maki watches as your face lights up when you talk. Flowers really are something you're passionate about… It’s cute.

“Well it's not surprising you chose floral work, pretty people are attracted to pretty things…” She muttered. It’s kind of a sad attempt at flirting but you’d be lying if you said it didn’t work. Dang maybe you are easy? Nevermind that.

“Wow, very smooth.” You giggled slightly and Maki couldn't help but smile. A song you like suddenly starts playing on the speakers. You hum softly and sway to the music and before you know it Maki is behind you. She has her arms wrapped around you and is swaying at the exact same rhythm as you. Any passerby would assume you two are a long term couple. But no. She's not even a regular. Your mind tells you to slow down but you don’t make any sort of move to stop her.

“Sapphics really do move fast huh…” You nervously giggle. Maki just squeezes you tighter and hums in agreement. Suddenly the bell of your shop rings again and you look up. You see it's the same boy you mentioned earlier coming to get his grandma's flowers. You hand him the bouquet and take his money. Before he leaves he looks at Maki curiously.

“Are you Ms. L/N’s girlfriend?” He asks with genuine curiosity. You freeze up and look at Maki. “Not yet, but hopefully soon.” She said to the kid with a small grin. Gojos rubbing off on her too much. Not that you’d know that. The young boy leaves and you turn around to face Maki.

“And what was that about?” You asked with a teasing tone in your voice. “What was that about?” She pretended to be clueless. “Not yet but hopefully soon?? I mean ask me out on a date first.” You said giggling. “Alright then. Go out with me.” She said so confidently it rattled something in your chest.

“Uh well uhm I was joking…” You muttered now suddenly nervous. “Well I wasn’t. So will you go out with me?” She tilted her head like a curious puppy. “Uh- uhm sure..where would we go?” You twiddle your thumbs anxiously. “Anywhere we want.” Maki offered with a slightly greedy glint in her eyes.

“O-okay well how about tomorrow after I close up we could get dinner?” You suggested finally meeting her gaze. “Sounds fine to me, I'll pick you up. Well I gotta go. I’ll see you tomorrow, pretty lady…” And with that she's gone. You squeal to yourself once she's out of earshot. You can’t wait for tomorrow.

Denki Kaminari x Reader oneshot

A/N: this took so long and now my neck hurts. May be ooc but please enjoy! WC: 2.3K

You're a waiter at a small cafe near UA, it's not like your parents struggle with paying bills or anything, you just want the extra money to hang out with your friends. You didn’t tell any of your friends because knowing them they’d come just to be irritating your whole shift. Not to mention the uniforms are a little…embarassing, they're not lewd or anything, it's just to match the cute theme of the cafe.

It’s a normal shift after a day of rough hero training. Your legs ache from being on them all day but you push through and keep a customer friendly smile on your face. You hear the bell from the entrance ding and you turn your head to greet the customer. Your jaw drops when you see the familiar blonde from your class, Denki Kaminari.

You drop like a person on fire and crawl behind the counter. There's no way you could let him see you like this, he would blab his mouth to everyone. Your coworker snaps in your face to get your attention. “Dude what are you doing? You still have tables.” She hissed at you gesturing to your 3 tables.

“A dude from my school is here! I can’t go out there, he'll see me!” You whispered, flailing your hands around as you explained frantically. “Well too bad cause he's in your section, now go!” She pulls you up and pushes you out from behind the counter. You huff and reluctantly walk over to denki’s table.

When you get to his table he looks up and before you can recite the practiced greeting he bursts out laughing. “You seriously work here!? Here of all places!?” He cackled so hard he doubled over. Your face heats up and you squeeze your notepad so hard you think you may tear it in half. “Shut up and order or I will kick you out…” You seethed angrily.

Denki whips out his phone to take a photo and you quickly cover your face. “Kaminari! If you send that to anyone I will kill you.” You're so mad you think steam may leave your ears. This is so humiliating, “Okay okay, this will be our little secret. Plus you don't look too bad in that uniform ya know?” He tries to hide the shit eating grin on his face but bursts out laughing again.

Your face heats up even more at the compliment. “Shut up and tell me what you want…” You muttered too embarrassed to threaten him again. “Fine fine…” He tells you his order and you walk away before you can hear the click of him taking another photo. For the rest of your shift, Denki torments you to no end. Teasing you in any way he can.

You finally get back to the dorms after your shift, tip toeing inside so no one hears you and asks where you were. Luckily you were able to change out of the uniform at work. At the door you’re met with Kaminari, the same grin he had at the cafe still plastered on his face. “Don’t say a word.” You shove him out of your way. He grabs your wrist before you can walk off. “Oh no no no we’ve definitely gotta talk about this.” He giggled so hard you almost punched him.

“Look I don’t want you talking about this to anyone, and I mean literally anyone. I just work there for extra cash so mind your business.” You poke him in the chest to emphasize your words. “Chill! I just wanted to tell you again how good you looked geez.” He muttered, looking away but still having a slight smile on his face.

“Haha very funny, I don’t need you making fun of me Denki.” You roll your eyes. “I'm not joking! You looked good.” He looks you up and down again and it makes you wonder if you were too tired and forgot to take off your uniform. Nope he was just looking at you. You storm off before he can see how flustered you are.

You take a shower and flop onto your dorm bed, you pick up your phone and scroll through instagram. You click on stories to catch up on them and once you get to Denkis you pause, it’s a photo of him just below his face, showing off a band tee, a studded belt, and jeans. The outfit looks really, and I mean really good on him. “He’s kinda cute…” You mumble to yourself and once you realize the words that just came out of your mouth you throw your phone. “Yep, that's definitely a sign to get my ass to sleep.” And with that you close your eyes and go to sleep.

Today's a saturday, AKA your weekly movie night with Mina. You two settle on the common room couch. You two talk for a bit about the drama going on in class 1-A and how you definitely think Izuku and Ochako are gonna get married someday. “Speaking of relationships, do you have a crush on anyone??? I mean you know I like Kirishima but you never mention anyone.”

When she says that your mind can’t help but flash to Denki, Your face heats up and Mina notices instantly. “Oh my gosh you do have a crush!!! Why didn’t you tell me!?” She grabs your shoulders and shakes you like a madwoman. “I don’t have a crush!!” You yelled back defensively. “You totally do! I saw that blush you can’t fool me!” You look away as your face heats up more.

“Look I don’t know if it’s an actual crush! He’s just cute I- ugh just promise not to open your loud mouth.” You finally grab her hands to stop her from shaking you. “I promise!! Cross my heart!” She yelled excitedly. “Like I said I don’t know if I actually like him…but last night I was scrolling on instagram and I saw Denki’s story and he looked…like too good.” You muttered.

Mina squealed happily. “You like Denki!???” She was way way too loud. “Keep your voice down before I sew your lips shut. And I said I don’t know! He’s just cute…and kinda funny…and strong…oh gosh I do like him don’t I?” You bury your face in your hands. “Yup! But it’s totally fine, I'm the best wingwoman out there!” She pulls your hands away from your face and smiles at you. “Let’s just watch the movie.” You huffed before turning on some random romance movie.

The next morning you wake up on the couch, you're laying on one end and Mina’s laying on the other, still asleep. You must’ve fallen asleep during the movie. You sit up and go to the kitchen to get water. You grab a cup and once you come back you see Mina’s awake. “We have to stop falling asleep on the couch dude…” She groaned as she stretched.

Later that day the whole class is in the common room in their separate pods. You and Mina are teasing Ochako about her crush on Izuku when suddenly you see Denki pass by to go to Sero. You stare at him for a bit and when you look back you see Mina and Ochako grinning at you. “What???” You asked confused. “You were staring so hard you almost started drooling. You got it BAD!” Mina cackled.

“No I don’t! Shut up!” You shoved her shoulder playfully. “You should go talk to him!” Ochako suggested with a bright smile. “No way!” You shut that down immediately. Next thing you know, Mina and Ochako are pushing you in his direction. You stumble into his arms and look up at him. You see him smiling down at you and your heart drops to your ass.

You quickly get up and apologize profusely, your face is as red as Kirishima's hair. You avoid his gaze because you know that if you see him smiling at you you’ll stumble over your words like an idiot. You look behind you to see Mina and Ochako looking at you with smiles and thumbs up. You glare at them with a look that says you're beating their asses later.

“You okay? You look like you're about to have a heart attack.” As he says that he tilts his head slightly and your knees almost give out at the sight. “Y-yea im alright. Minas just being annoying again. Wait you haven’t told anyone about the uhm…the cafe right?” You tense up at the thought of your secret getting out. “I haven’t told a soul, cutie.” He winks at you and walks away.

You walk back to Mina and Ochako with a blank stare. “Dude you look sick, you good??” Mina asks, very concerned for your health. “He called me a cutie…what does that mean???” You inquired, not sure if what you're thinking is what's actually going on. “Are you stupid!? It means he likes you!!” Mina yelled so loud the entire common room heard. Everyone stares at the three of you and you feel your soul start to fly up then and there

You quickly flee back to the secluded comfort of your dorm. You spend pretty much the rest of the day there. It's about 9 pm and you're about to go to bed when you hear a gentle knock at your door, it's soft enough that you know they're definitely trying to avoid being out of their dorm past curfew.

You trudge out of your bed and open the door. You see Kaminari standing there in a batman shirt and basketball shorts. “Nice pajamas.” He whispered to you with a slight giggle. “What do you want??? It’s past curfew.” You groaned, squinting to see him in the dark. “I wanted to go to the convenience store down the road, I want candy.” He shifted his weight between his feet, looking slightly nervous.

“And what does that have to do with me?” You scratch your head sleepily. “I want you there with me ya know? To uh spend time with you.” he blushes as he says those words, your eyes widen slightly. “Oh uhm o-okay then ill come I guess… Let me get a hoodie.” You turn around to find one but before you can his voice perks up again.

“No need, I brought mine!” He tosses his hoodie at you. It's a flash themed hoodie. “You have a big thing for superheroes ya know that? You laughed softly. He pulls you out of your dorm and you two start sneaking out.

Once you two got your snacks you sit down on a bench. He digs into his candy and you pull your knees to your chest sleepily. You lean on him, too sleepy to realize what you're doing, he freezes up but soon wraps his arm around you. “Hey uh…can I tell you something?” He muttered through a mouth full of gummies. “Mhm…” You hummed, though your eyes were already closing.

“I really like you…like a lot…youre really cute and cool and funny and like so ambitious and- well uh the point is I think you're like awesome…I know this is really sudden but Mina said

this would be a good way to…maybe ask you on a date?” He picks at his nails anxiously.

“Hm…I’d like that Kaminari….” You said before finally drifting off to sleep. Denki almost short circuits with excitement, then he looks down and realizes you've fallen asleep. He stuffs his candy back into his bag before putting one arm under your legs and one on your back to pick you up. You melt into him and he carries you back to the dorms. Your subconscious mind is already excited for your future date with Denki.

The next morning you wake up and memories of last night hit you like a truck. You gasp and instantly call Mina and rant to her as you get ready for classes to start. “Well girl I kinda already know this, I told him to ask you out.” She said as she brushed her teeth. “Dude I owe you a lot!” You grab your bag and you hang up the phone.

The day can’t end quick enough, your only motivation to get through the day is your date with Denki. Finally the day ends and you quickly go to your dorm to change into an outfit better suited for a date. You meet Denki at the front date and he's wearing an outfit similar to the one he wore on his story the day you realized you liked him.

“Hey! So I know you like animals so I saw this cat cafe online so that's where we're going!” He beamed excitedly. “Howd you know that?” You tilted your head slightly. “Uh I pay attention to you a lot…” He muttered now slightly flustered. “That's…really sweet…Let’s go.” You grab his hand and motion for him to lead the way

Once you two get to the cafe he tells you to find a table and says he’ll be right back. He stays gone for a while, so long that you start to wonder if he ditched you. You get ready to leave until he comes back with flowers. “Sorry that took so long!! I just uh…wanted to get your favorite but uh-May I be your boyfriend? Maybe? Please?” He said, so nervous it looked like he was gonna cry.

“I-uh wow youre sweating a lot, uhm I would love for you to be my boyfriend Kaminari. Now please sit down, people are staring at us.” You giggled softly before taking out your phone to take a photo. You post it to your instagram with the caption, “Managed to bag the nervous wreck.” You posted it before finally enjoying your date with Kaminari. You're actually kinda grateful he came to your job that day.

A/N: this is kinda really super ooc for Saiki but I wanted to progress this quick and its kinda rushed. WC: 1.2K

When people think of psychics they think of the luckiest people ever. Psychics can have whatever they want right? People see it as a blessing. Well you don’t. You hate your powers, you hate that you can’t control them. You hate that your powers react to your emotions. You just wish you had more control.

You were pretty quiet. But not because you were shy, you just didn’t wanna accidentally hurt anybody, so you kept distance from everyone. You wanted friends more than anything but until you can get a grip on your emotions and more importantly your abilities, that's off the table.

Since you could sense other psychics you could tell Saiki was one. And boy were you envious. He had so much control of his abilities it was insane. In fact, all the psychics you knew were in tune with their abilities. You’d be lying if you said your admiration of Saiki didn’t spark into a small crush. But he would never like you back.

You hate school, with all of your heart. You hate it because it's like a magnet for disasters due to your powers. Whether it's sending basketballs flying through the storage room, or your lunchbox getting shot 10 feet across the cafeteria. But it's not like you can just skip, your mom would saw you in half. So you just try to bear it and hide your mistakes with all your might.

Saiki was sick of cleaning up your messes. Well, no he wasn't but every time you messed something up he was there to pick up the pieces. Not that you knew of course. He knows how guilty you feel and despite him claiming not to care he can't bring himself to let you know he's helping you out. He hears your thoughts of self doubt. He hears how much you hate your life, how much you wish you were anyone else but yourself.

Saiki felt himself drawn to you for whatever reason. It wasn’t like with Teruhashi when he was constantly forced into situations with her, it was like his soul was always pulling him towards you. He knew you were both psychic so he thought maybe that was why.

This day was like no other, a random day of you sitting in a secluded spot of the class while all the others conversed with their friends. You have your headphones on while listening to music. Your eyes drift to Saiki and his eyes meet yours. You quickly look away and put your head down. While you did admire Saiki you couldn’t help but admit, he was really creepy if you think too hard about it.

During lunch you sit on the rooftop so that if your powers mess up there wouldn’t be anyone to witness. You suddenly hear wind rushing by but it's not wind, it's Saiki teleporting to the rooftop. “Youre avoiding someone.” You said softly as you chewed your food. This isn’t a rare occurrence, somehow you and Saiki end up eating lunch together more often than you'd think.

“Nendos trying to invite me out for ramen after school” You hear his voice but dont bother to look over, knowing his lips aren't even moving. Plus you can feel his presence as he sits next to you. You slide him a coffee jelly in a cup. “You like these, right? My mom packed me one but I think they're gross.” You lied, though you don’t really see a point in lying to someone who could hear your thoughts.

“You and I both know you saw this at the convenience store and got it for me” His voice was as monotone as ever. Yet you can’t help but laugh as he exposes you. “Well…yea” You giggled softly . “Thanks…” His voice was a bit quieter than usual. “You even got the brand I like…” He sounded a little surprised.

“Yea I just..wanted to be sure that you’d like it” You admitted quietly, as a heat rises to your face suddenly your lunch starts floating. “Oh crap, no no no stop” You try to urge the food to stop levitating but the more panicked you get the higher it goes. You bury your face in your hands in frustration, or maybe embarrassment.

You finally look back up once you've calmed down to try and get your lunch down but much to your surprise there's no food in the air. You look down to see the lunch already neatly placed back down. You look over to see Saiki already looking away from you.

“Your powers react to your emotions…I know it may be hard to control them but the more you panic the worse it gets. So just calm down” He ate the coffee jelly as he explained softly. “I know but it’s not exactly easy to control your emotions when you're a teenager...I’m sorry you had to do that…I really am trying to get better at controlling them…” You mumbled, leaving out the part about how your emotions flare when he's around. But he already knows that of course.

“It’s okay, I’m used to helping you out-” He abruptly stopped speaking as he realized he said too much. “What?...You’ve been helping me this whole time? Oh gosh im so sorry, you probably think im a wreck” You pull your knees to your chest, shrinking into yourself with embarrassment and shame.

“Don’t beat yourself up about it. Plus I’m not good at comforting people. I don’t mind helping you know? I deal with at least 10 disasters a day, a few floating objects is nothing” He offered you a strained smile, you knew he was only doing it for your benefit, he only had a real smile when eating sweets.

“Thanks but I should go…I don’t wanna bother you anymore.” You pack your stuff up, trying not to get in your head at the risk of stuff flying again. You suddenly feel a hand on your wrist tugging you to sit back down. You look at him with confusion as he gestures for you to sit back down.

“Look, I don’t really like hanging around people. I don’t like attention. But for some reason I always want yours..I like feeling your eyes on me. I like hearing your flustered thoughts. I like that you bake…mostky for the sweets I get but also because it's a good quality. The point is, I hate most people's company, but I don’t hate yours. I mean I like Nendo and Kaidou but they're just friends..” He avoided looking over at you.

“Then… What am I?” You muttered, having a feeling about what he was hinting at but not wanting to jump to conclusions. “I would like you to be more than my friend, closer. I wanna help you get control over your powers…and maybe grow some kind of relationship with you” He finally looks over and offers you his hand.

“I would like that Saiki..” You said with a soft smile, now feeling the guilt and anger you felt towards yourself wash away, I mean knowing Saiki of all people likes you just the way you are is like winning an oscar. “Call me Kusuo” He said as he pulled you up. “Okay Kusuo.” You get up and the both of you finally leave the rooftop.

For the first time in years you finally feel normal, and it's all thanks to Kusuo.

Neito Monoma x Reader oneshot

A/N: this may be ooc but its to progress the story! WC: 2.1K

Ever since joining UA, you've hated Monoma’s guts. You hate his attitude, you hate how obsessed he is with Class 1-A, everything about him makes your blood boil. Mostly his hatred for class 1-A. Why couldn’t he just accept that class 1-B was just a backup? You accepted it the moment you were told what class you were in. Sure you cried because you felt inadequate but that was totally different. At least you're quiet about it.

Whatever, the point is, Neito Monoma is a cocky bastard.You'd never ever like him in a million years. He was so loud, it's like he was trying to make up for the fact that he wasn't good enough for class 1-A. Granted you definitely understand why, It's like getting second place in a competition. You wonder what it was that made you not good enough. It's a weight that places itself on your shoulders and you just have to bear it.

You always do your best to prove the stupid sorting system wrong. You train until your head hurts. You always feel a slight ache somewhere from pushing yourself too hard the day before. You wanted to be enough for someone, anyone really. Little did you know a certain loud blonde thought you were more than enough for him.

While you hated Monoma and all his loudness, he had the biggest crush on you ever. To any onlooker other than Kendo however that wasn’t exactly obvious. I mean he teased you every day. Making fun of the bags under your eyes after you spent all night training. Or when you fell asleep in class from studying too late. He made fun of your dedication but really it was what he admired most about you. He just didn’t know how to show it.

Kendo constantly scolded him, telling him you’d never like him back if he kept being a dick. But every time he tried to sincerely compliment you he got nervous. You gave him a look that made his chest hurt. It was like your eyes could see the part missing from his soul. The part he wanted you to fill. So he always just went back to teasing. He just lightened up on it as the years went by. Especially after the war.

Finally you’re third years in UA and your dedication hasn't changed a bit. You still wanted to prove that you could be more. Monoma still watched in awe every time he saw you training. He saw your drive, your perseverance. He knew you could be his motivation. But he knew he had to take this slow and earn your friendship and trust before trying anything. So he watched from a distance.

You sit in the cafeteria, eating and thinking quietly to yourself about ways to amplify your quirk to better suit it for defense against others. As you stare down at the table you see someone slide into the seat across from you. Much to your annoyance its Monoma. “What do you want!?” You yelled, already prepared to cuss him out if he says something annoying. “Chill out! I just wanna sit with you. No need to be so snappy” He said, you heard the teasing lean in his voice and it pissed you off.

“What are you sitting here looking like a loner for anyways? You know you can always come sit with me and Kendo.” He said, and for a moment he looked genuinely sincere. “I know, I just wanted to be alone to think about training some more.” You mumbled drifting back into thought. What could make you better? Stronger? “You never quit huh, Thats ... .admirable” He says quietly. You freeze, trying to see if he's making fun of you or something but he doesn't have the usual cocky smile on his face.

“Oh uh…thanks…are you sick? Usually you aren't that nice, I mean you have chilled out more recently but you've never flat out said something nice.” You said accusingly, surely this isn’t actually Monoma, it has to be one of his cruel jokes right? “No, I'm not sick!! I'm just…taking Kendo’s advice…” He whispered with a slight blush on his face. You blink over and over trying to see if your eyes are playing tricks on you. Nope, he's actually blushing. “Advice??? What are you plotting, Monoma?? If you’re playing a prank on me, I'm gonna bash your face in!” You yelled defensively.

“It's not a prank!! Just- oh nevermind” He got up and walked away, leaving you to wonder what that was all about. The next few weeks Monoma has been acting super weird. Like…nice! First it was him checking up every now and then. Asking if you're okay like that was normal. Well, it was, just not for him!

Then it was the time he brought you an extra water bottle during training. You snatched it and inspected every inch of it expecting it to be tampered with. But when it's not you mumble a small “Thanks” and walk away. Finally the straw that broke the camels back, He asked if you wanted to share his blanket during the class movie night. You didn’t deny, but you felt…strange the whole time. Like your stomach felt…fuzzy. Maybe you're sick?

The next day you march up to him and slam your hands down on his desk. “Why are you being so nice to me, huh!?” You yelled and his eyes widened. You think you finally caught him in his stupid joke. But instead he just looks to Kendo giving her a look that's obviously him begging for advice. She shrugs and walks off

He looks up at you and you feel that strange feeling in your stomach again. As you're about to walk off, he grabs your wrist. “Lets talk outside?” He mutters, feeling the others' eyes on him. You've only seen him look so nervous a few times before. You huff and drag him outside by his tie. “Talk or I deck you in the face for this stupid prank” You said angrily.

He sighs. “You know a few weeks ago when I said I was taking Kendo's advice?” He rubbed the back of his neck. “Yea?? You were being weird then too.” You said stepping closer. His breath hitches and he clears his throat. He stumbles over his words and you stomp your foot down in irritation. “Spit it out already!” You yelled glaring at him.

“I’ve liked you since first year!” He finally spit out looking away and blushing. You freeze, that was certainly not what you were expecting. Your stomach does that fuzzy thing again but this time it feels more like it was also flipped upside down. “I-uhm…I need to go…” You storm off, speeding to the bathroom, thinking you may vomit. Monoma watches you leave, and it's like his heart breaks into pieces in his hands, was that a rejection? I mean it wasn't an answer at all.

The rest of the day you avoid him like the plague. You try to get your head wrapped around your feelings. You could’ve sworn you hated Monoma, so why did your face heat up when looking at him today? Why did that tightening in your chest when he was brought up in conversations no longer feel like spite? You feel like you're losing your mind. Your stomach feels even worse. Who would’ve known the thought of Monoma liking you would’ve made you physically ill?

Well no one did. Until after lunch during training you drop to your knees and vomit the moment you get paired with Monoma. Talk about drama. You get sent back to your dorm for the day and you trudge there with the energy of a ghoul. You flop onto your bed and curl up in your blankets. What is wrong with you…why do you not hate him? You thought you hated him! You groan into your pillow and decide to scroll on your phone for hours.

Eventually the school day ends. You hear footsteps through the door of people going to their dorms for the day. You hear two end up right at your door before hearing a soft knock. You get up and trudge over thinking maybe one of your classmates came to check on you. Technically you weren’t wrong. But you didn’t expect Monoma at the door, with…flowers. The sight makes your chest tighten once more and you feel like you may vomit again.

“Uhm…I know this may be difficult to process…I mean how could I have liked you when I teased you for so long ya know?” He said with a soft chuckle. You still look like a walking corpse as you reach for the flowers. Somehow he found out your favorite type. You look up at him, urging him to continue speaking.

“I just- I didn’t know how to process those feelings. I never liked anyone before. I was always envious of people or I thought they were below me. I never saw anyone as an equal. Until you…It was like a switch flipped. I didn't feel either of those things towards you…I admired you! Your passion, your drive! It made me wanna be a better hero…But I didn’t know how to show it…So I teased you like some stupid elementary student…I’m sorry. Please, let me make it up to you.” He sounded so genuine…

“Wow…Uh…well I’ll admit that wasn’t the best way to deal with it… but… I understand. I mean I threw up when I realized..That maybe the thought of being with you didn’t seem so bad.” You muttered, gently stroking the petal of one of the flowers. “You- you really-” He stumbled over his words. “Shut up! It's just- I thought I hated you? But I don’t, and it threw me for a loop, my stomach moreso.” You ranted.

“So…is that you saying you'd let me start over? I mean, I have to show you my true amazing self after all!” He said now showing his cocky smile but now it feels different. “Sure…I guess that wouldn’t be so bad” You said, finally setting aside the flowers. “Great! So, I'm Neito Monoma. It's nice to meet someone as dashing as yourself.” He said with a soft chuckle, and maybe laughs are contagious because you can’t help but snort.

“Well Monoma, im Y/N it’s nice to meet you.” You shake his hand and look up at his eyes and they look at you with so much adoration it makes your heart stutter. And just like that everything changed. He took you on dates, you two opened up to each other. You told him why you felt the need to push yourself. He told you how he hid his feelings with that cocky mask. And you find yourself falling in love with him.

It’s a random afternoon after training, your head hurts and your bones ache. Yet here's Neito dragging you to a random spot in the park. “If you're gonna kill me a park isn’t the best place, a lot of witnesses ya know?” You said with a soft chuckle as you fought the urge to remove the blindfold he put on you. “Just be patient, we're almost there. And I'm not gonna murder you!” He said enthusiastically. A little more walking and he stops you and gently pulls the blindfold off.

You open your eyes and look down to see a bench. But it's not the bench that makes your jaw drop. It's what's on it. A large sign that says the words “May I be your boyfriend?” It's different from asking you to be his partner, it's a gentle submission. Showing that he wants to be yours and yours alone. There's more than the sign too, There's also a basket that's your favorite color, with your favorite snacks, and a plushie of your favorite animal. Next to the basket is the exact same bouquet he gave you a few weeks ago at your door.

“Oh wow….” He stared at your face, watching your expression carefully. “So?...” He rubbed his hands together anxiously. “I-oh geez I’m gonna vomit…” You said holding your stomach. “Is it that bad!?” He looked completely distraught. “No! It’s perfect…too perfect that I feel queasy..” You mumbled. “So is that a no?...” He looked more hurt than a dog with a bone stolen from him. “No you idiot! It's a yes! I just need to sit down before I mess up my shoes…” And just like that the boy you hated with every bone in your body and every cell in your blood came to be your boyfriend. Shiozaki owes Kendo 50 bucks…

“Is it cool?”Keigo x reader oneshot

A/N: this is based off of “Is it cool” by steve lacy. May be ooc.

“Being vulnerable is exhausting babe, can we get naked instead of talking babe?” You somehow managed to recite those words every time Keigo tried to get you to open up about how you're feeling. Most times you didn't really mean it and just wanted to change the subject.

It's not your fault you didn't like talking about how you feel! It's just too sappy for you. You have much more important things to worry about. You're too independent. You don't like relying on anyone or anything. Well, that was until you met Keigo.

Meeting him ripped you out of your comfort zone completely. And I'm not kidding. It was a regular afternoon and you were at work. You start to smell smoke but chalk it up to one of your coworkers putting something in the communal microwave too long. You bury your head back into your computer and keep typing.

You suddenly feel a pretty strong arm wrap around you and you and the figure that you couldn’t get a good look at go crashing through a window out of your building. You look up and see the entire office on fire. Then you finally look at your savior and see the pro hero, Hawks looking for a safe spot to land you.

He sets you down and finally looks you in the eye. “You should really be more aware of your surroundings, you know?” He chuckled before watching him fly away. You make your way home. Thinking about how if Keigo wasn’t there you'd be dead by now.

This was the first of many times you’ve interacted with Keigo. After this one incident it was like the universe was willing you two to meet over and over. Disaster after disaster, somehow you ended up in the middle of all of them. And somewhere in between all that you and Keigo got close. Eventually becoming an official relationship.

Back to the matter at hand. You’ve had an obviously stressful day and yet you just stay in your office in you and Keigo’s shared apartment. He tries to tell you to talk about it over and over and yet you just brush him off. Repeating the same line you do every time another stressful day takes place. You bury your head in your notebook, writing more marketing ideas for your office.

Keigo shuts your computer and as you look up ready to cuss him out he looks at you with two of the biggest puppy dog eyes you've ever seen. “Just talk to me? Please? I know there's something bugging you, just let me help.” And just like that your resolve breaks. “Fine fine just stop looking at me like that…” You murmured, finally closing your notebook.

You spend the next half hour ranting about how terrible your day was, tears welling in your eyes as you talk about how overstimulated you've been. Through all of this, Keigo is just there, listening. He rubs your back as you talk and gives a small “mhm” every now and then to prove to you he's listening.

Once you’re done, you feel as though a weight is lifted off your shoulders. You wipe the tears from your face and mumble. “I probably seem really stupid crying over a bad day at work right?...” He tilts your head up by your chin.

“Not at all, I'd rather you cry over it than not tell me at all. You don’t have to be strong all the time, you know? You spend so much time trying to be tough and independent that you leave no time to relax. You don’t have to prove anything to anyone, especially not me.”

Just as you're about to look away he pulls your head to his chest. He rubs your back and turns on a movie. Knowing those two things combined will always knock you out in an instant. And like clockwork, your breathing slows as your eyes flutter closed. Maybe being vulnerable isn't so bad after all.

Maki Zenin x Florist!reader

A/N: this is pretty short but maybe ill make another part? Who knows.

Maki wasn’t the type to be in a place like this. Flowers were nice but she'd never buy one for herself. It just didn't fit in her schedule. But she found herself wanting to visit Mai's grave and felt the need to get flowers. I mean Mai is her sister and she deserves at least that much.

She walks into the shop feeling the chill of the AC against her shoulders. As Maki looks around she finds herself reminiscing about the few good memories from her and Mai’s childhood. Granted there weren't many but the ones they did have were nice. She’s snapped out of her thoughts as she hears a particularly chipper voice. “Hello, may I help you? You pipped. She looks you up and down taking into account all your features and mainly your honeybee apron.

If it was anyone else she would say you looked like an idiot. But with that big smile on your face and how cute you look she can't bring herself to do so. “No, I'm just looking for a simple bouquet, nothing special…” She muttered and she started to turn away. “Is it for someone special? Red roses are usually for dates!” You beamed excitedly. “I’m not going on a date…I’m visiting my sister…her grave” She gruffed, not liking the suggestion of a date.

“Oh dear I’m so sorry! I’ll leave you to just come to the counter when you're ready! Again I'm so sorry…” You panic as you speak, waving your hands around frantically. Maki can’t help but smile when watching you walk back to the counter. She picks out a bouquet and goes to the counter.

She silently chastised herself for thinking about you in such a way when she's about to visit her sister's grave. Plus she was never really a relationship person…But damn you’re cute… “Your total is 3926 yen…And I’m sorry about your sister” You mumbled, still feeling bad for earlier. “It's fine…we weren’t really close in the end…” She muttered, staring at your lips as she spoke. “Uhm…may I ask your name? You whispered anxiously. “It’s Maki, and you are?” She tilts her head slightly as she asks the question. “My name is Y/N! It's lovely to meet you, well I-uhm It would've been nice to meet under different circumstances b-but might I say, you're very beautiful! You look really uhm…strong!” You babbled, staring at her biceps and scars as you spoke.

A slight blush rises to Maki’s cheeks. “Thanks…Youre quite cute yourself…Maybe I'll come back at some point?” It's not often when Maki is nervous to speak and yet here she is, hesitating her words over a girl in a bumblebee apron. “I’d like that! V-very much!” You beamed excitedly. You would’ve never thought you'd be her type but If you're not mistaken she seems to be a little interested in you.

“Uhm…Maybe I could get your number? To let you know the next time I plan on coming around? Maki said as she slid her phone across the counter, hoping you’d type your digits in her phone. Your face lights up like a christmas tree as you quickly snatch up the phone and type your number in. “I’d love for you to text me!- uh I mean, yea that's cool… ion een curr for real ya know?”

Maki bursts out laughing. And you watch in awe. Compared to her earlier angered expression when she's laughing she looks…almost soft? You quickly grab another bouquet, separate from the one she was planning on giving to Mai. “H-here! Maybe this will remind you to come back?” You said frantically. Huffing when you realize you keep stuttering. “Just…text me? If you want of course” You tap your toes against the ground nervously.

“Will do” Maki said as she plucked the bouquet from your hands. Before taking your hand in hers and pressing a soft kiss to your soft knuckles. A heat rushes to your cheeks as you give a bright smile. You giggle softly and Maki could swear it sounds like a siren's song, luring her into your life. She shakes the thought away and grabs the two bouquets before leaving the cute store. And your mind gets plagued with thoughts of her for the rest of your shift. Maybe she’ll come back soon?

People come into each other's lives for a reason. Well that's what you thought until you got a job at the news station. You've met people who have absolutely no purpose in your life. But you'd never quit, I mean this is your dream! If you just had one good story maybe things would be easier. And something up above must've heard your prayers because lately a strange figure has been seen swinging from the buildings of Musutafu. He supposedly saves people. This is gonna be your best story yet!

It's a hot afternoon as a villain is destroying property all around the city. Many people have been injured so far and many buildings have been damaged. You run following the villain. Some might say this is stupid but you know it's the best way to get the shots! You snap photos, usually hiding before the villain can spot you.

You stop to analyze the photos when you feel a giant hand grab you dragging you out of your hiding spot. It's the villain. He looks to be some kind of mutated freak. You scream and kick trying to get out of his grip. The grotesque mutation takes your camera and looks at it like it's a foreign object.

“Hey!!! Give that back I paid for it!!!” You screamed obviously very oblivious to the very real danger in front of you. Then before your mind can process it. The mutation gets kicked in the face and sends you and your camera plummeting to the ground. You brace yourself to hit concrete but before you can you feel a smaller, more gentle arm around you. You look up and see someone in a red and black mask that looks like something a child made in art class.

He swings you on top of a building and before he can leave you grab his ankle. “Wait!! Who are you?? Can I get a name?” You said urgently not wanting to lose this opportunity. “Well uh- I haven't really finalized anything yet- I thought of spider boy but that seems a little immature. Then I thought of web slinger but that doesn’t really encapsulate my vibe ya know?” He ranted. Your eyes narrow as you realize the man who just saved your life is kind of a dork.

“What about spider-man?” You proposed, now looking a little disappointed at his lack of confidence. “Yea! I like that! Call me your friendly neighborhood spider-man!” He said happily. “Now look, just stay here, I'll come back to get you later, and maybe don't follow the villains around? It's not exactly the smartest decision.” He said before he swung away. You quickly pull out your camera to snap a shot of him swinging. Then after you inspect the photo you realize that you're kinda stuck up here until he comes back. “Aw man…”

Hours pass and it gets dark. You pace around the rooftop wondering if maybe he forgot you were there. Then just as you're cussing him out in your head you hear two feet landing. “There you are, you idiot! I've been here for hours!” You yelled, then realized he's really beat up. You quiet down and walk up to him inspecting his injuries. “Geez I know I’m good looking but you're really close lady.” He chuckled then let out a small wince of pain.

“First off I don't even know what you look like, second off you need to get bandaged before these cuts get infected.” You huffed as you peeled back a piece of the ripped fabric to inspect the cut on his torso. “If you get me off of this rooftop and get me back to your apartment I could patch you up? I mean you can't exactly go to a hospital with these kinds of cuts and expect them not to ask questions.

“Okay okay, Just hold on and give me directions as we swing” He said before wrapping his arm around you again and swinging off the building. You bury your face in his chest as you feel the wind rushing past you. “I-I live on 123idk bullshit street!” You yelled not having the courage to look away from his chest. “Calm down! I wouldn’t drop a pretty lady like you” He said and you could hear the cheeky smile on his face. You're lucky he can't see your face cause you can't deny the heat that rises to your cheeks.

You get to your apartment and unlock the door leading him to the couch. “Stay there, don't move, I'm going to get a first aid kit.” You ordered before rushing to your bathroom to dig around the cabinet. You come back and much to your surprise, his mask is off. “You know there's no point in the mask if you take it off for strangers…” You mumbled as you sat on the coffee table in front of him looking through the first aid kit for the things you needed.

“We'll have to get to my face somehow right? Plus I trust you wont tell anyone right pretty?” He chuckles then winces again. “So…what's your name? I mean I think I deserve to know if I'm gonna be your designated nurse right??” You said as you cleaned his wounds. “I guess you're right… My name's Sero…Sero Hanta.” He muttered while looking into your eyes with a look that looks like something a little more than gratitude.

“Well it's nice to meet you Sero…My name Y/N as you could probably tell im a journalist.” You said gesturing to the camera. You finally clean, stitch and bandage his wounds. You go to put up the first aid kit and once you come back he's gone. All that's left is a note that has terrible handwriting.

“I gotta go, but thanks for patching me up, pretty lady! Signed, your friendly neighborhood spider-man, or to you Sero Hanta.” You groan in anger, you were planning on interviewing him for at least 30 minutes. “I guess I’ll just have to catch him next time.” You muttered before going to your room and passing out on your bed.

As you wake up to your cat stepping on your face you suddenly remember that today you're supposed to be taking photos of Katsuki's training today. The thought of it makes your face flush. You quickly snap out of that however, I mean it's not like you like him, he's just hot! That's not your fault.

You get ready and put on a hoodie and jeans. There wasn't really any reason to dress up like you usually do. And since you don't have to work at the office anymore there's no need for office attire. You grab your camera and your computer and shove it in your bag before making your way to the training studio. Knowing from what his assistant said that his training is an all day ordeal.

You peek inside the studio and scan the room. Not wanting to attract too much attention as you walk in. You tip toe inside and sit down on an empty bench and start to check your camera settings when suddenly you see two legs in front of you. You let out a small yelp and look up to see Katsuki staring at you with a face that you can’t decipher if he's judging you or not.

“What do you look so scared of? It’s not like I'm gonna punch you or somethin’. Chill out.” He gruffed looking down at you with his piercing eyes. “O-oh I just uhm, sorry that's kinda just my face I guess.” You muttered looking back down at the ground. “No it’s not…You don’t look like that when you're taking photos” He said gesturing to the camera in your hand.

“W-well that’s different, and how would you know anyways?” You mess with a few camera settings not trying to look him in the eye. He tilts your head up by your chin and looks you in the eyes before saying quietly, just above a whisper. “I’m observant.” Heat rises to your face and your hands start to sweat. Almost mirroring yours, Katsuki’s cheeks flush and he lets your face go.

“R-right uhm so uh- crap-” You stuttered, face palming in your head at how stupid you probably sound right now. “Did you pick out a camera?” He asked like he was sure you have already. “Uhm well no…I fell asleep before I could give it any thought- well I do have a dream camera but it's super expensive and I wouldn't want you to pay for that because to be honest the price is ridiculous. I mean cameras are super expensive nowadays and- oh I'm sorry I’m ranting” You blabbered mindlessly.

“What's the camera called?” He sat down next to you and stared at you expectantly. “Uhm, it's called a Phase One XF IQ4… It’s been my dream camera since middle school…” You mumbled nervously. “Then that's the one we’ll get.” He got up and walked to the sparring pad with Kirishima.

As they spar you take photos and your mind can’t help but wander. He's so confident. He's like the opposite of you. You can barely correct someone on your food order and he walks and talks like he's certain of how the universe will act that day. You finish taking the photos and start to edit them as he goes on a break.

Him and Kirishima sit across the studio on a bench. “So what's her deal? Poor girl looks like a mouse.” Kirishima asked while taking a sip from his water. “She doesn't have a deal…she’s just shy.” Katsuki huffed in exhaustion as his eyes instantly found your frame. You're sitting on the bench with one leg off and one pulled up so you can lay your cheek on your knee as you edit the photos.

Since Kirishima's so used to how Katsuki acts, he instantly catches on. “Ohhhh…you think she's cute don’t you?” He laughed with a shit eating grin on his face. Well until Katsuki slaps him on the back of the head. “Shut up you idiot! I don’t think she's anything…” He yelled and peeked over at you again and much to his surprise you're already looking at him, probably due to his volume. He clears his throat and looks back down at the ground.

“Whatever man all I'm saying is if you think she's cute just ask her out. Unless you're too scared?” Kirishima said obviously knowing what he's doing. “I’m not scared, just watch.” Katsuki walked up to you with the confidence of a movie star. You look up and start to mumble about how you're almost done editing.

“Lunch.” He gruffed without explanation. “Excuse me?” You asked as you looked at him with a confused expression. “Let's go get lunch…like a date..I mean if you want it to be.” You study his face, and for a moment it seems like his confidence falters. Once you realize he's not playing some kind of prank like you were subjected to in middle school you mumble quietly. “I would like that…” And just like that he grabs your hand and your bags for you pulling you up from the bench. “Wait by the door while I change alright?” He said as he walked off.

Once you two get to a secluded section of a small non chain restaurant you stare down at your hands nervously. Should you make conversation or wait for him to? I mean he said this is a date but you're too nervous to think properly. So you tap the pads of your fingers onto the table and look around. “You know you can look at me right?” He said with a faint smile it's barely noticeable but it's there.

“Right uh- I-I knew that I just uhm I didn’t wanna seem like I was staring. I just didn’t wanna look creepy…” You mumbled while finally looking up at him. “You’re real quiet ya know? He tilted his head as he looked down at the menu, realizing his gaze was making you more nervous. “I-I know I uhm…I’m working on it” You whispered, thinking back to the hundreds of times you’ve been criticized for how meek you are. “What’s there to work on? There' s nothin’ wrong with being quiet. There’s enough loud people in the world anyway”

You can’t bring yourself to reply instantly. He said it so casually. Like he didn’t know how much those words meant to someone like you. It was acceptance. It was something foreign to you and your heart stuttered at the words. After a minute of pure silence you finally open your mouth to speak. “Really? You aren’t gonna say I should speak up or something?” You pick at your hands as you ask this, a small habit you're trying to stop.

He reaches across the small table and grabs your hand absentmindedly to stop you. “Why would I say that? I like that you’re quiet. So I can be loud enough for both of us.” He didn’t look up from the menu, trying to block the view of his flushing face with the laminated paper. You can’t help but smile. You’ve never been liked just the way you are before. The few relationships you've had in the past always tried to change you. They all said you should be more assertive or stuff along the lines of that. You just weren't that kind of person, and in a world of people that didn't want to accept that, Katsuki did.

“I have another match tomorrow, be there.” He said finally looking at you. “Oh right uhm okay! D-Do you mind ordering for me? The waitress looks mean..” You squeezed his hand without realizing, liking the feeling of his warm fingertips against your cold ones. “Yea I don't mind, what do you want?” You tell him your order and he calls over the waitress. He tells her both of your orders and looks back to you as she walks away.

You two talk about everything you can think of as you two eat. He tells you about his friends and how he got into boxing. You tell him about how you've always loved art and how that led you to photography. Then when you two finish he takes you back to your apartment. He stops at your door and looks down at you.

“Thanks for coming with me…I guess.” He muttered before pulling you into a tight hug. You hear his heart beat and realize it matches yours. Your face heats as you smile and hug him back. “You don’t have to thank me…I really enjoyed today! W-well I'll see you tomorrow. Bye Katsuki.” And just like that you go inside leaving him at your door with a lovestruck expression.

The next day at the match the usual ordeal goes down. You get let in through the front but this time you don't go to a seat. This time you stay just outside the rink to get better photos. As the match progresses you take photos of him winning. Halfway through the match he starts taking more and more punches, ending up in him sitting during a timeout as his coach gives him a pep talk . Yet he can’t focus on anything his coach is saying. His eyes drift to yours. He sees the look of worry, the way your brows furrow and your bottom lip gets tucked between your teeth.

Seeing that it's like the spark in his chest is reignited. He gets back up and the match continues. He throws punches with inhuman speed. His eyes catching any openings before his opponent can block them. In the end his opponent is on the floor and the referee takes Katsuki's hand and holds it up as the crowd screams in excitement. And still, like clockwork, his eyes find yours. He moves away from the referee to the edge of the rink where you are and offers his hand to pull you up.

You hesitate for a moment before taking his hand. He pulls you into the rink and walks to the referee who still has the microphone in his hand from announcing Katsuki’s victory. Katsuki snatches the microphone and says into it. “Do ya’ll think y'all can yell loud enough to convince this girl to be my girlfriend?” Like a switch the crowd screams even louder than before. You feel the rumble of the volume in your feet as your face heats up.

“So?” He looks at you expectantly. “I-I uhm..well since you asked in such a flashy way I-I think it would be insane to say no right?” His face lights up with a smile. Not a cocky victorious smile. A soft one, a smile of genuine excitement. “She said yes.” He announces into the microphone with a huff of half exhaustion half satisfaction. People cheer as he leads you back to his locker room.

Once the door shuts behind the two of you he pulls you into a hug that was more of a squeeze. “I was nervous you were gonna say no for a minute” He muttered in exhaustion. “You thought I would say no to you?” You said with a soft chuckle. “Yea I mean…I know I did ask a bit early… We’ve only been on one date.” He said, finally pulling back to wipe the sweat off his forehead. But before he can you muster up the courage to pull his face into a soft kiss. You and Katsuki were total opposites. He was loud, You were quiet. His voice took up a room while yours could barely fill a cup of water. You never expected to end up with someone so different from you…But maybe it was what you needed. You needed someone to take up the space you couldn’t. You needed someone who could bring peace to the chaos that surrounded you. And Katsuki was exactly that. That's why you two complete each other.

A/N : This is part two! Please be nice bc this is my second time writing! There will be more parts to come!

Through the next week so much has happened, you finally got to quit your job, you gained so many followers on Instagram matter of fact all your socials, and your friends took you out over and over to celebrate. You never expected to be this lucky but here you are!

Finally, the day came to take Katsuki's photos at his match. You give your ticket at the door and then go to find your seat that's super close to the front.For a moment you worry that if one of the fighters gets flown out the ring that they’ll hit you. You check your camera settings anxiously, repeating in your head that you can’t mess this up. Then suddenly the loud sound of Katsuki's entrance music plays and you almost flinch.

Your eyes find him almost immediately, and much to your surprise, he finds yours too. You quickly look away not wanting to stare and you finally put your camera up ready to take the photos.

The match finally ends and you look around for Bakugo's back room. Once you spot it you pass through the crowd muttering “Excuse me” nervously every now and then. You get to the door and the bouncers look at you like you’re stupid.

“What do you need? The exits over there you know.” The taller bouncer says. You gulp and quietly mutter, “U-uhm Mr. Bakugo asked me to come here…I took his photos for the match. My name is Y/N.” Your eyes find every spot on the floor just trying not to look at their eyes.

“Oh right he did mention something like that. Well, come in.” The smaller one huffed. They open the door for you and you take small steps inside as you scan the room for Katsuki. “I’m over here.” You almost jump at the sudden voice. “O-oh uhm hi! Uh so you mentioned that I would be signing a contract? The photos need to be edited. I-I could send them tomorrow!”

“Yea that’s fine whatever. Here's the contract” He huffed, seemingly still worn out from the fight. You can't help but look him up and down, watching the sweat drip down his chest. “Hello???” He waved a hand in front of you and you realized you were spacing out again. “Oh right, yes! Do you have a pen?” You squeaked excitedly. He tossed a pen at you and stared expectantly, waiting for you to sign the contract.

You sign it and for the next 30 minutes you two talk about legalities and payments and such. You can't help but get distracted by his looks, watching him wrap his hands in bandages as he talks. “Are you even listening!?” He questioned, suddenly raising his voice then quieting down once he saw the way you jump at the sudden volume. “Just make sure you're paying attention okay? My assistant will help you with any confusion but you still have to listen…” He gruffed, feeling a tiny sense of guilt for startling you.

“Right! Sorry but uhm I think I got most of it! When did you say you wanted me to take photos of you next?” You babbled, trying to make it seem like you weren’t focused on him. “Well I have training tomorrow, you can come to that for practice I guess” He was obviously trying to make it seem like he didn't care if you came or not. You saw through that in an instant. Being quiet all your life ended up paying off when it came to reading people. However you pushed that aside before standing. “I’ll be there just send me the address, and I’ll edit your photos tonight! Goodnight Mr. Bakugo” You beamed. “I thought I told you to stop calling me that, I'm not even older than you.” He glared as he spoke, and you could swear you felt a bead of sweat go down your back under his gaze.

“Right! Sorry uhm I’m just gonna uh- I’m gonna go! Bye!” You backed up trying to leave and as you back up you end up tripping over a roll of bandages. You fall back and brace yourself to hit the floor but the hard concrete never comes. You realize you feel a hand on your wrist and look up to see Katsuki holding your arm to keep you from busting your ass. You feel a heat rise to your face as your gaze catches his. For a moment it feels like you're transported somewhere away from the dingy locker room.

“You okay?” He inquired, making sure you didn’t hurt yourself. “Y-yes uhm I’m fine! Sorry about that” You stand up and fix yourself. “It;s fine, just be careful.” He looked away not wanting you to see the slight flush on his face, you obviously did though. You just chalked it up to constipation.

You make your way home and get ready for bed, finally making something to eat. You flop onto your couch and watch a movie as you eat. Then you suddenly realize you need to edit the photos so you grab your camera and computer. You edit the photos then text Katsuki’s number.

“Hello! I just edited the photos from tonight! Would you like them now?” You send the text and continue to eat. You almost fall asleep until you feel your phone buzz. “Yea sure. Let’s hope these are good, don’t wanna have to fire you after your first day.” You pander if it's a joke for a moment before you get nervous for no reason. You send the photos and squeeze your eyes shut too scared to watch him typing.

You feel the familiar buzz and open one eye to peek at the message. “These actually aren’t bad. Though you know we can get you a higher quality camera?” Your face scrunches at the message. “What's wrong with my camera???” You pouted as you type. “Nothing, just when I saw you with it earlier it looked…well loved if you get me. We can buy you a new one. One that’ll get you clearer photos.” As you read the text you imagine getting a brand new camera and can’t help but smile. “I couldn’t ask that of you, cameras are so expensive.” You texted back, however still hoping he buys it anyways.

“Don’t be ridiculous. Pick a camera out and we’ll buy it.” You squeal as you read the text, this is literally a dream come true! “Wow, I can’t thank you enough! I’ll pick one out, is there a budget?” You typed out, wanting to be somewhat modest. “Why would there be a budget?? Just buy whatever I can afford it.” You almost throw the phone across the room in excitement. “Thank you so so so much! I’ll let you know in the morning! Goodnight Bakugo!” you texted back almost shaking with how happy you are. “Just call me Katsuki” As you read the text a small piece of you says he's blushing behind his phone. “Well then goodnight Katsuki.” You replied with a faint smile. “Goodnight Y/N” You read the text and finally turn your phone off. You turn off your TV and finish your food before falling asleep on the couch.

This is my first fanfic so please be nice! Also this is only part one!

You weren't exactly the type of person to put yourself out there. You were timid, you were always told to speak up. When you were a child every adult in your life told you there was no room for you in the world if you couldn't speak your mind.

You wouldn't exactly say you were a professional photographer... Though you definitely wanted to be one! You mostly just post your photos on Instagram occasionally getting a few hundred likes here and there.

That was until your friend from college decided to buy you and her tickets to a boxing match. "Maybe you can practice a few shots! Come on, it won't be that bad!" she beamed with delight. And of course, you being you, you can't help but say yes. Maybe you'll actually have a good time?

On the way there you take a peek at the ticket, wondering who you'd be practicing on. Katsuki Bakugo... Hm that name doesn't ring any bells. But then again you were never interested in boxing so you suppose that's why. You fiddle with your camera as your friend drives while ranting about her most recent situationship.

Your friend drags you inside and you two sit down after getting a few snacks for the match. Time passes and finally the boxers come out. You spot Bakugo as his entrance music plays. "He looks...constipated," you giggled to your friend. I mean Bakugo looks angrier than a poked bear. But you have to admit he is hot...

Time passes with you taking shots of the match every now and then. You'd be lying if you said you weren't taking more shots of Bakugo because of his looks... But eventually the match comes to an end, the referee holding Bakugos hand up as he stares into the crowd cheering at his triumph. Then he looks directly at you and for a moment it felt like the world stopped.

The loudness of the match quieted for a moment. Well that was until your friend pulled you out of your seat. "Come on, let's go! My situationship said he wants to see me sooooo you gotta go home girl! And just like that you were snapped out of your trance and dragged to the car.

Later that night you decided to post the photos of Bakugo you took. After some research you find Bakugos Instagram so you decide to tag him in it. The weight of the long day finally decided to dump on your eyelids so you go to sleep. After all you have your 9-5 tomorrow and gosh forbid you're late to your soul sucking job. Somewhere in your ranting in your head about how much your job sucks you drift off.

In the morning you wake up, and out of pure instinct you immediately grab your phone and look at the time. As you start to look at your notifications your eyes widen as you see more and more Instagram notifications. Likes and comments plague your notifications and you feel like your heart may explode from excitement as you read them!

Then much to your dismay you realize you have to get ready for work. So you trudge out of bed and go to take a shower. As you wash your body you squeal from the happiness of people finally seeing your work. You step out and dry off. Getting dressed in a simple yet professional outfit and putting your hair into something office appropriate. You grab your purse and everything you need and you head out.

At 5:00 pm you groan as you unlock your door to your apartment. You kick off your heels and almost wince at the feeling of them finally getting set free from the aching arch. You get changed into your pajamas and flop onto your bed for your nightly scrolling session, deciding you're too lazy to cook so you order something as you scroll.

Suddenly you get a message request so you open it. Your heart almost drops to your bottom as you realize its Katsukis publicity account, likely ran by a marketing intern or something of the sort. You read the dm as your heart beats in your ears.

"Hello there! We saw your shots of Mr. Bakugo and we would like to say your work is amazing! He also saw them and requested to have you take shots for him full time! Please take time to consider this offer and text or call this number once you've made your decision! xxx-xxx-xxxx You have a good night ma'am!"

You're dreaming...You have to be dreaming! You check the account over and over thinking it's maybe a fake account. Nope it's legit… You read the message, trying to decode if it's something fake. No, it's legit as well. Once you've accepted that it's all real, you call the number shakily.

“Hello?...I-I understand it’s late and im terribly sorry to call at this time but once I got the message I couldn’t wait…Im Y/N,I-I took the photos of Mr. Bakugo at yesterday's match… M-may I ask who this is?”. You stuttered silently bashing yourself for how scared you sound. Knowing you have to be confident at times like this.

“Im the one who requested you. Don’t call me Mr. Bakugo, it makes me feel old.” He huffed. Back in high school he would’ve screamed and cussed at the mere suggestion of being called Mr. Bakugo, but luckily for you, he has calmed down a bit in recent years.

“Y-you’re…Oh my gosh… I-im so sorry! I didn’t know they’d given me your direct line! I should've waited till the morning. I know you probably have to sleep or something so you can train or something I-I don't know I’m so sorry!” You ranted anxiously, you never meant to be so rude!

“Calm down! You sound like a baby deer. I’m not mad. I wasn't even goin’ to sleep. Look, you took good shots alright? So I want you on my marketing team. Only for me, exclusively. I'll pay you whatever you need just say the word. So? What do you say?”

You space out for a moment…is this real? Holy crap this is a dream come true! No more of your awful day job! No more people wondering why you got a degree in photography if you weren't gonna put it to good use! Your thoughts are interrupted by a crackly “Hello??” and you realize you still haven't replied…

“Yes! Yes I-I would love to, oh my goodness!” You yelled without thinking. Knowing you seem way too excited but you can't help it. “Good, I have a match next Tuesday, I want you there. I'll pay for your ticket.” He said, sounding bored but the back of your mind tells you he has a faint smile while saying it. “T-That would be amazing thank you, i-is there a contract I need to sign or something?” You stuttered, suddenly very aware of the legalities of this and not wanting to be ripped off or exploited.

“Yeah, we’ll give it to you after the match, just tell the bouncers your name and they'll let you in the back. Look I’ve gotta go it's late but I’ll try to keep you updated and let you know of any changes alright? Don’t disappoint me with those shots next week.” He groaned sleepily before hanging up.

You turn your phone off and squeal at the thought of your new life. You daydream for hours before sleep takes you and you fall asleep with a faint smile on your face...little did you know your food was still out on your porch...oops!
