so i was talking to my grandmother about old-school video games and she was all “y'know there was one game i used to play, and it had like a maze, and it was underground, and there was a guy in first person and he had a weapon” so knowing her penchant for puzzle games, i started guessing like myst, or legend of grimrock so we start hunting through these 90’s-era games featuring dungeon crawls. turns out. it was not a puzzle game. it was nothing close to a puzzle game. apparently, in the mid-90s, my grandmother would sit down and play fucking Wolfenstein 3D and listen to AC/DC for like hours on end.

Okay I’ve discussed this with two others this morning bc I was so disturbed. Not that he did or didn’t suck a dick. But that I could have read it wrong?! Admittedly I am one of the two that has been privy to this discussion. I too felt I misread it, believing that he’d openly admitted to receiving oral - though that could be my bias for desperately wanting to get on my knees for him.

Though, as @beautiful-tragic-fallout and I have determined, that doesn’t sound like him. I’d be willing to bet what he actually said was something like “I’ve never had sex with a guy but I’ve had my dick sucked” (or “I’ve sucked a few dicks” as the case may be) and the magazine was like “…😳 we can’t…you can’t…we’ll just, okay yeah, we’ll just rephrase that…”

I just feel like he wouldn’t use the phrase “I’ve had oral sex, yes” that just doesn’t sound like the way he speaks (I know there’s a word for that but I have 2.2 brain cells and neither of them want to work so I’m leaving it at the way he speaks)

uhhh… i think we can assume it went both ways, just sayin. guys together are generally “turnabout is fair play” both among teenagers and adults :P contrary to what a lot of people seem to think (n even gay porn promulgates, n some gay/bi men who identify as bottoms also for a variety of reasons inc gendered, porn, being a young man in a relationship with an older man, etc ones eschew receiving fellatio while readily giving it). plus, there’s that 2013 interview where b said he “wanted to try everything” as a teenager re: sexual experimentation. which isn’t to say that every time one guy goes down on another the reverse happens too, but that tends to be how it happens, and it’d be rare n considered a dick move (ha) for the other guy to not help the other guy out in any way. he is also clearly really into performing cunnilingus, but i think the interest, arousal, curiosity, etc at that applies some to performing fellatio (although i do strongly think he is objectively more into vulva and oral sex on vulva than penis n oral sex on another dude (i think he’s into vulva both in itself eg looks, taste, feel, etc n he’s into a woman and her vulva when he’s into her, whereas he’s only into penis n balls if he’s into the dude even if on a mostly sexual/wanting to get off level), both plus and due the fact he’s been with sarah for over a decade). giving and getting oral sex are also two of the most statistically common sex acts in a given encounter between two men (kissing is also around as common, and masturbation, manually stimulating the other, frottage (eg with thighs, buttcheeks, tummies), dick to dick are also frequently practiced).

i’m honestly not getting why people are assuming he was saying he was only implying receiving… but the more i think about it the more stupid i feel for assuming earlier that the wording was *b* self-censoring/trying to be tactful. yeah, the wording isn’t like him, even considering that he’s self-censored in interviews before (probably the most relevant example i can think of is in one interview with kroq where they discussed how rob zombie on stage called panic! skinny pants faggots he said it (before the night performance where he was fairly but not too drunk and straight up said it) as “skinny pant sons of…” n trailed of on that, implying he said sons of bitches when it wasn’t that, either deciding not to say bitches himself–which is another word that gets to him typically–or trail off because the next word was obvious). i had also assumed that b saying he hadn’t had sex with a guy was either trying to be tactful and avoid saying anal and/or not thinking (because i definitely think he thinks oral sex is sex and prob other acts too, but i’d bet a big chunk of money on the oral sex for sure) plus that part was awkward (the interviewer pushing for him to show his bi/pan cred by saying he had had sex with men) like panicsinning said. but them rewording what he said actually makes more sense.

now, part of the why i think he was implying both (or not implying one way or the other beyond confirming he had engaged in it) goes into other things he’s said that i’ve already mentioned, plus other things that came up during the day that i remembered, but…. i also don’t get how people assume it’s just receiving based on that wording? so i look at related things he’s said to support my interpretation (plus the fact it is likely it went both ways considering not just statistics on mm sex but his level of curiosity, horniness, being up for pretty much anything, talking about experimenting with friends–i know i think most of his friends were girls, but he had guy friends too ;), etc especially as a teen that he’s referenced numerous times including on recent twitch streams)

This is the interview that the quote we’re discussing is from an interview from q magazine. This is me talking about it another time 

preceded with the time Jack Barakat cheekily asking if he was top, bottom or middle on twitter. Brendon responded with short-stop, the baseball position between second and third base, implying mostly manual, likely frottage, and some oral. i know this is another instance of his plausible deniability answers, but he’s done it (clever, funny, etc responses that he can say weren’t serious) several times.

speaking of manual sex… there’s this recent twitch where he got a lil focused on contemplating and giggling about a circle jerk with his vros XD (there’s a couple other instances of b n circle jerks i could dig up too. well one for sure, as in i remember it n what it’s from, no promises on the second altho i’m pretty sure there’s another)

in 2013 he said he experimented in “realms of homosexuality and bisexuality,” adding in 2014 to the same interviewer (lucky duck) “when I was younger I was just curious. I wanted to try everything. in another kroq interview he refers to performing fellatio thusly “you can’t scare me with a good time.” (about 2:30 in)

here’s the “but i will suck a dick” clip. other instances include the periscope where he joked about “how the hell do you eat dick. what the fuck? like this”. it’s hard to describe the noise he made while he gobbled/num nummed but that’s a plausible deniability joke that even i’m not taking as seriously indicative of a damn thing.

there’s also the generic (as in could be referring to 69ing between any pairing) 69 420 cake b got in 2016 (correct me if it wasn’t that year). i bet sarah picked it :P

take a hot shower or bath.

eat something sour. it will take your mind of the urge. (lemon, sour lollies)

massage where you want to self-harm.

get a red pen or red paint and draw/paint over where you usually self-harm.

remind yourself as to why you shouldn’t do it. (scars, harms organs, leave memories etc…)

describe what you are feeling. (is the urge/pain in your chest, fists, legs, arms, head).

killing yourself will not help. it is not a solution.

you have your whole life ahead of you. you have so many more years that you can accomplish things in. for example;

having a family.

getting married.

to watch the sun rise.

to watch the sun set.

to save someone else’s life.

finish school.

get your dream job.

to laugh.

to smile.

to go camping.

travel to new places.

to wake up every morning to the person you love.

friends.

family.

to keep that promise you made.

to accomplish a goal.

to meet your idol.

to listen to new music.

to be able to look back and say “i made it”.
