Marching Band Against Humanity
crying with tears of joy for band camp and marching season
When you have to shift really high on your instrument and you land perfectly in tune!
I did that once before and it was the most memorable time of all my years of playing 😂
At lessons vs. practicing
*at lessons*
teacher: *shows me a technique or the correct way to do something*
me: wow this helps. I will do this thing
*practicing the next day*
me: *either can't remember how to do the thing or the thing doesn't work*
me: I'm so confused. and frustrated
Let the painful process of memorizing music begin.
I’ll practice tomorrow.
I lie on a daily basis. (via ss-marching-band)
They’re on to us guys!!!

when you’re performing your show and you get lost so you just finger random notes and try to not make it obvious
If you’re unprepared for marching season clap your hands.
I’ll practice tomorrow.

Falling in love with someone in your band
(via marchingband-islife)
Ahh yes there is always that one you fall in love with.
(via band-is-for-a-lifetime)
I saw my director play the other day. It was mesmerizing.
I'm curious
If you’ve ever been in marching/symphonic/jazz/pep band, reblog/like this or message me. Go ahead and say what instrument you played if you want. I want to see how many people following me (or casually scrolling through a tag) were part of a school-sanctioned band. (Color guard members too! You totally count as band members)
do you ever just play something so wrong that you look up at the sky and just go “what was that”
Practicing involves me screaming 75% of the time and actually playing 25% of the time
