i don't really want to weight in on the "using big words in your writing is ableist" discourse happening on tiktok because i'm like 90% certain it's an anti-intellectual psyop to stir up drama in online circles to promote the use of ai to summarize literally everything and thus feeding the LLMs and lowering the populace's mistrust of such tools but i also have to say: dictionaries and thesauruses are the most accessible they've ever been. if you use an e-reader of any kind you can look up a word without leaving the page. there's a plethora of online dictionaries and if you just type a word + "meaning" into google it'll usually give you a definition. we used to have pocket dictionaries we used when reading in class. i have two on my shelf right now that i used in high school. stop letting the fascists purposefully misuse anti-ableism rhetoric to trick you into never thinking again.

from label 1:

in the US and EU, this is a generic term meaning "something we put in here to make it smell nice" and there is absolutely NO way of knowing if that is a scent you are allergic to or not. some of these can be a mix of up to 200 distinct components.

the issue isn't that we don't have ingredient lists. the issue is that "trade secrets" are more important than people's lives, so if a company says that listing the actual ingredients might allow people to copy them, it is legal for them to put "it's a secret, tee hee".

hi! read your addams family and persona 5 crossover (and then the lil sequel oneshot) in like. 2 days recently.

noticed that you mentioned that you'd been toying around with more of the concept regarding the show and was wondering if you did ever actually plan to continue the idea? it (and your writing) fascinates me and I would love to know if it was in your plans to eventually continue! also totally fine if it wasnt because what does exist is already very very good :)

So idk if you found it, but I did write at least a oneshot follow up called Burn My Woe that was written after the first season of Wednesday.

Doing another multichapter fic is theoretically totally doable - and I still have lots of ideas for this crossover, believe me - but if I want to go deeper into Netflix's Wednesday specifically, it's going to require some slash and burn fixing to make them match. Not for any kind of "this removes P5 and The Addams Family ability to talk" kind of way and more in a "me and Tim Burton have wildly different ideas how Granny and Ophelia Frump behave and maybe where to take the story" kind of way. That or I just erase the whole second season and only stay compliant with the first.

There's some further oneshots I've been batting around in my head that i have no idea when/if I get to writing, so I'll just list them out:

--Goro Akechi returns to Tokyo to give an actual testimony for Shido's trial with whole Addams Family in tow

--Ann Takamaki, going to college in the USA, finds a way to give Goro a 'surprise' visit to meet the family.

--Wednesday at Nevermore Academy mistaken to be a weeaboo because of knowledge of Japanese, Japan's current sociopolitical system, her intense opinions on the Phantom Thieves vs. the Detective Prince, and secret enjoyment of Featherman

--A continuation of Burn My Woe where Wednesday's cannot control her visions around Akechi and so she forces distance between them, with Joker being the one to come confront/console her and tell her just to be honest with him.

-Not a oneshot, but somehow getting something with the Metaverse opening up around Nevermore Academy. Joker, Akechi and Mona are investigating the situation while remaining as incognito as possible. This is an excuse to give Wednesday a Persona (the Wicked Witch of the West --> actualizes maybe to the Slavic god Morena? While I wrote her thinking she'd be the Devil tarot, her Netflix iteration I think fits the Moon better --> actualizes to Elpheba) as well as Enid (who I believe to be a hard PT stan) just immediately recognizing who Wednesday's adoptive brother that she's been excessively cagey about is.
