If you like the wellerman, try on this classic
this is a pathologic ass song
The Chemical Worker’s Song. Not far off our current days’ wage slave experience. I’m telling you, you need Union Songs.
Sailors aboard a ship used to hum to warn the captain they were THIS close to a mutiny and didn’t like conditions AT ALL. Because humming was something others could keep doing when you stopped. Anyone comes close you stop, but the hum of the rest keeps on and they can’t prove who, exactly, is doing it.
Just saying.
Sea shanties are a gateway drug to work/labour songs of all kinds, labour songs always end up including union songs, and that’s how you end up extremely hardcore for organised labour.
And if people want more information, this particular song is called “The Chemical Worker’s Song (Process Man)”, written by the Canadian folk group Great Big Sea.
Sea shanties and labour songs are an active tradition! Are you pissed? Sing about it.

I keep seeing this on facebook and the freemasons are reducing the image quality so I thought I’d upload it here and see
Ok I’m sorry but I need to know whats going on with some of these
Not sure about those top 2 but there’s a conspiracy theory that Finland is actually just open sea between Russia and Sweden and Russia allows Japan to fish in that sea as much as they want and they both made up Finland to prevent fishing regulations bc there’s no fishing regulations on dry land and the reason the trans Siberian railroad was built was to transport the fish from the Finnish sea to Japan.
The hollow earth one is much simpler some people just believe the earth is hollow

The Creature: Father is…evil? Father is unyielding? Father is incapable of love? I am running away. I am packing my little rucksack and going out to explore the world as a lone vagabond. I can no longer thrive in this household.
god i wish i could turn off the setting in my brain that makes me get mad when people have bad opinions about supernatural (a bad show)
This quote tweet has such a powerful aura to it.

“David can be a really nice guy,” Anderson declares, laughing. “He’s got the ability to be absolutely compassionate and caring. At the same time, he’s one of the moodiest people I’ve ever met. But you forgive him because he’s so charming and can be so sweet and funny.” Gillian, ‘TV Guide,’ December 1996
i think tv shows should be grimy again cuz nothing can be particularly funny or frightening when nobody has wrinkles and all the clothes look new… it feels wrong that every window and wall is spotless and every restaurant menu is uncrinkled at the corners… cameras need to be worse, i hate having to see inside people’s pores… smaller sets w more detail, no more giant vaulted spaces in which human bodies are lost… emo piano music is BANNED… hm what else. more laughing! more people talking over each other… warmer palettes, uglier places… fewer bright lights and more shadows i do not need to see everything to be entertained…
