IâM NO ANGEL
[ This piece was inspired by the specific episode I named this after. As always, I found myself deep in my feelings over Castiel and his troubling time as a human. Of course, it developed into something more. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did writing it. Itâs been a while⌠]
Synopsis | Castiel has only begun to learn the trials and tribulations of a human life. Thankfully, heâs managed some help along the way. When he ends up injured and alone, thereâs only one place he knows to go.

Exhaustion had crept its way into your bones. Eyes burning with the desperation of sleep, reaching a point of deprivation you hadnât known existed. Perhaps youâd pushed yourself too hard. Work made for a distraction and the last few months had been⌠interesting to say the least. You craved normalcy, anything to rid yourself of the crippling paranoia. To your dismay, time at the hospital seemed to only multiply your stress. Not to mention the endless stream of phone calls. A voice message, always in a familiar voice, left on the answering machine at home. You had two guesses â Dean or Sam Winchester. That in itself seemed to be the only highlight of every long, agonizingly slow day. To know you had someone thinking of you.
You rummaged through your locker, packing up your belongings into a small duffel bag. Strands of your pulled back hair now framed your face. The zipper was the only means to break the silence. Left alone, as youâd taken up the night shift through most of the week. Your feet ached and that pain had radiated up your sore calves. A nice bath would do you good and the very thought gave you more incentive to quicken the pace.
Taking your keys into your grasp, you slung the strap over your shoulder and made your way out of the locker room. You passed the station, bidding goodnight to the other nurses. Your smile fading quickly once hidden behind the closed doors of the elevator. You leaned against the wall, your head dipping backwards. Easily, you allowed your eyes to fall closed.
The Angelâs Flight
Reader x Human!Castiel
Summary:Â Set immediately after 9.03, Iâm No Angel (Castiel is cast out of the bunker)
Y/N refuses to follow Deanâs lead and let Castiel find his own way through his mortal life. She must make a choice; will she listen to Dean and stay loyal to the Winchesters, or will she follow her heart and pursue the man she loves? And if she follows her heart, how can she be sure that Cas wonât break it?
This is an angsty oneâŚ

Dean directed his steely gaze at Y/N and answered back matter of factly. âHe had to go.â

_______________
Dean was correctâyou reached Lawrence faster than you had during The Culling. Now fully awake, you watched the world outside from your spot on the floor as the carriage slowed.
Time had passed in odd stretches for the rest of the carriage ride. The last thing you remembered was lying on your side, surrounded by the pillows, with Dean sitting nearby. Heâd placed his hand over yours on the floor and the gesture had been enough to soothe the anxiety thrumming through you. In that moment, it had almost felt like nothing had changed. Youâd secretly been back in time, before your relationship with Dean and your people had fallen apart, and it had been a few sweet seconds of ignorance and bliss before reality had come crashing back down on you again. Afterwards, you had closed your eyes and wished with every part of you that you could go back and do things differently. The wish was a foolish one, of course, but it had been enough of a wish to send you into a few more hours of sleep that werenât plagued with nightmares, worry, and anxiety. They had been dreamless and deep, or as deep as they could be as the carriage bounced over the rocky road to Lawrence.
Now, Dean was standing at his spot by the windows, watching out in silence. Joanna sat near the fountain, silent as well, and you glanced her way. She looked nervous, but when she finally felt your eyes on her and looked up from her lap, the expression on her face changed. Her lips pressed together in a thin line and her eyebrows furrowed slightly in determination before she bowed her head in respect.
Saddened, you opened your mouth to tell her she didnât need to treat you like she once had, especially since she knew you were no longer capable of what you once were, but Dean was walking over to you as the carriage came to a complete stop. He said something and you looked up at him, hoping heâd repeat himself. He didnât, but before you could ask, he was reaching down to carry you like he had when youâd left the temple.
âDean,â you warned, but he ignored you.
How am I supposed to prove Iâm really the Goddess to the villagers if he wonât let me walk on my own? Iâm supposed to be strong and capable of anything, you thought. If they see Iâm not even capable of keeping myself upright, how will they believe I can keep them safe?
As soon as Dean stepped outside, you were met with almost unbearably bright sunshine and gasps from almost every direction. A crowd had gathered around the two carriages and once your eyes adjusted to the light, you noticed that the villagers had made a wide circle around them. They watched you, Dean, and Joanna with trepidation and the overwhelming fear, anger, and curiosity coming from them made you want to throw up. You didnât need magic to see how much they despised your presence in their home.

There was loud rustling and voices in the corridor outside your chambers when you first opened your eyes, which was different than what youâd grown used to since sending the last of the temple servants away. Slowly, you pushed yourself up until you werenât flat on your back, but the energy to push yourself up to sit just wasnât there.
You had to squint as you looked around the room. More of the temple had crumbled away while youâd been sleeping, leaving gaping holes in the stone walls of your chambers. Bright sunlight from outside made it almost impossible for you to see anything properly, but you still noticed the door to the hallway swing open a moment later. Dean stepped inside, and his hair was immediately blown back by the wind that was blowing through your exposed room.
Has his hair always been that long?
As soon as Dean let go of the door, the wind slammed it shut behind him. The walls around you shook from the force and another stone fell from its space down to the ground below. You heard the thud even from high up in the temple.
âYouâre still here,â you murmured, pulling your blanket further up over yourself. You werenât sure if you were angry with Dean for not leaving, happy he stayed, or just exhausted.
âI told you that Iâm going to fix this, Y/N,â Dean answered. He stepped around more rubble to get to the bed, then sat on the side. âHow are you feeling? Do you think you can walk?â
You frowned. âWhy?â
âWeâre leaving. Weâre going to go find help.â

As the smoke cleared and the persistent whine of the fire trucksâ sirens finally stopped, Castiel absentmindedly thanked the firefighters, looking beyond them to your trembling form crumpled on what was left of your front stoop. The trucks drove off as he made his way to you, unsure of how to begin to comfort you. His shoes came into your line of vision and you sniffled, wiping a stray tear away as you lifted your head to meet his apologetic stare. You saw the sympathy and inexplicable guilt swirling behind his brilliant blues, and gave him a small smile, prompting him to hold his arms open, eager to hold and comfort you.

Imagine having sex with Cass while you're on a case and he shows up drunk.
Takes place during 5x17. You're Sam and Dean's sister who has a small crush on Cass. When he comes in drunk and flirts with her things get put of hand.
A/N: hi!𼰠this is a very small smut scene maybe 758 words or so I originally wrote it for a whole series I was working on so it might seem a bit in the middle of things. Also I will be updating my hotch x reader tomorrow!
I worked on this at 3am while watching the episode I'm sorry it sucks đ
Warnings: smut. Drunk sex.
*************************************************
âWhen you said you liked my voice did you mean that?â I blurted out while I was trying to put the book down.Â
Cass was walking towards me while speaking, âYes.âÂ
I backed closer to the wall as he got closer. Soon I hit the wall and rubbed it extremely anxiously.
âI like you better,â Cass gruffly said.Â
I felt the blood rush to my cheeks as he was almost chest to chest with me against the wall. He put his hand by my head and leaned forward. He was so close I could smell the alcohol on his breath.Â
âDo you,â I whispered softly, trying not to let my hands wonder.Â
âYes, I do,â Cass replied. I felt like he was getting closer and I was beginning to heat up.Â
I was wearing a simple gray tank top and jeans. Suddenly I felt exposed under his gaze. If he wasnât an angel Iâd think he was flirting. He was alarmingly close and staring me right in the eyes, I was getting lost in his ocean blue eyes. I was trying to build up the courage to do something or run away. I built all the courage and gave him a small peck on the lips. Cass looked at me surprised for a second before crashing his lips into mine.
I wrapped my arm around him, he responded by getting closer to me. I felt his body press against mine as he deepened the kiss. His hand wrapped around the back of my head as he slipped his tongue into my mouth. I felt his other hand slide down my leg and grab my thigh. My body was full of chills and I felt excited, really excited.Â
âCass,â I whispered, breaking the kiss.
âStop talking,â He responded, picking me up and slamming me against the wall.
I wrapped both legs around him and wrapped my arms around me. I was terrified he was going to drop me, instead he started kissing down my lawline and on my neck. I shivered against the touch of his lips. I started tingling and wanted more. Something was building in my core and it was driving me insane.Â
Cass slightly bit my neck causing me to moan in response while throwing my head back. I felt Cassâs hand travel up my leg and onto my hip under my shirt. I got goosebumps from the feeling of his skin against mine. I wanted so badly to just rip his clothes off but this was also moving so fast. I donât think thereâs a human alive who has slept with an angel, I might be the firstÂ
Cassâs hand wandered down to the waistband of my jeans. He was about to literally rip my jeans off of me when I stopped him.Â
âI need these,â I whispered, unbuttoning the jeans and pulling them off. I was only in a tank top and underwear now.Â
Cass had put his pants around his ankles and had picked me up again, slamming his lips against mine and forcing me harder against the wall. Cass slowly kissed my neck and pulled his boxers down. I could barely comprehend what was happening when suddenly I felt Cass slam into me. A loud moan escaped his lips and he grunted in response. He began kissing me harder while thrusting into me slowly.Â
He felt so good inside of me, I was starting to build up and I knew I was about to orgasm when I thought I heard the door unlocking. I started to panic when Cass suddenly slammed deep into me causing a loud moan to errupt as I orgasamed. My legs started shaking and I could feel myself tightening around Cass. He started moaning louder and slamming into me harder. I clawed into Cassâs jacket as he bit my neck again. His moans grew louder and louder the quicker he thrusted.Â
I felt Cass thrust as deep as he could and moan loudly. His cock pulsed inside me and he let out more smaller moans. He released his hold on my legs and neck putting me down. My underwear was still on just pushed to the side. Cass quickly pulled his pants and his boxers on and looked me over. I donât think I looked the best after he completely railed into me.Â
He placed his hand on the center of my back and pulled my body close to his. He leaned down and kissed me softly again, not a kiss of desire like before but a soft sweet kiss.Â
âPut your pants on (Y/N), we should help Sam,â He said and I could confirm he was definitely still drunk.Â
Alone Together
Summary: An epiphany shows Castiel what he truly wants out of life. Do you feel the same?
Challenge: This is written for @sis-tafics â Bday Pop Punk Challenge. I chose the song âAlone Togetherâ by FOB to infuse into my piece. I was struck by sudden inspiration and decided to post it a little on the early side. This is one of my first fics where Iâve limited myself to scarce dialogue, so Iâm a bit excited about it.
Pairing: Human!Castiel x Reader
Word Count: 1566
Castiel, the infamous Angel of the Lord, felt stuck in a blue-eyed shell of regret. Never quite accustom to his human form, even several years reflecting the loss of his grace. Inadequate, foreign in a body he never belonged, borrowed until itâs host died, which might as well have been by his hand.
Along with the years of hunting which begun to wear on him in ways he hadnât imagined. The aches, the pains, the mere misses that nearly took his life. Castiel lacked the years of experience required, the way you and the Winchesters had learned in youth.
Alone with you, working on a Djinn case, the monster had captured Castiel. He dreamed nothing similar to the life he had now. His day consisted of lounging inside a cookie-cutter house, entailed with a white-picket fence and a best of all, you. Mentions of hunting, monsters and plaid amiss. Just you and him, in love, living in a happy, safe environment.

The Depth of Ebony Part 12
Dean Winchester x Reader
Story Summary:Â
A hell hound is needed to fulfill a spell. A hellhound is captured by TFW. But it turns to be more than they bargained for. Y/N becomes more than they bargained for.
Catch Up Here: Masterpost
Going on the road was nothing like you would expect it to be. It was exhilarating to be in the back seat of the Impala, the wind whipping through your hair while Sam and Dean bantered about everything they could think of. Classic rock played in the background, occasionally getting turned up so Dean could sing along, terribly off-key.
You stayed fairly quiet, wanting to observe instead of interact. It seemed like they were okay with that as well, even though Dean sent glances your way through the rearview mirror.
Stepping foot into the convenience store was quite the experience. Drinks of every kind filled large coolers. Snacks and treats were on each aisle, along with little things that would make your trip much easier. A young girl with green hair and her lip pierced managed the front counter, not even glancing up at you as you went up and down the aisles.
âGet whatever you like,â Sam said, towering over the aisles. He had dried fruit and a smoothie in his hand. Healthy. Good choices. Something that intrigued you. Just then Dean came storming into the small store, immediately heading for the coolers. Sam smiled at you before moving on, and you went to follow Dean.
âSo many choices,â you mumbled, watching as Dean pulled out a couple of energy drinks. Then you saw the coke bottle. That was something you remembered from your life, and you happily reached in for it. Dean smiled before heading on to the snack section. Dean seemed to know exactly what he liked, filling his arms full of jerky and snack mix, and a couple of candy bars. He even threw in a hand pie.

Under the Texas Sun Part 5
Jensen Ackles x Reader
Story Summary:Â
Having been best friends with Jensen since kindergarten, Jensen has always been there for Y/N when sheâs needed it the most. Best friends turned roommates, but will he still be there for her when things turn south? Or will his friendship turn into something more?
Catch Up Here: Masterpost
The door lock clicked, echoing through the silent house as you sank down on the edge of the bathtub. There was no need to lock the door. Jensen was out for the day, spending some much needed time at the brewery.
To be honest, he seemed to be spending more time at home in Austin than you had ever remembered. Of course, he was still filming in Vancouver, but he came home every weekend, often arriving late Friday night. It had quickly started a routine of late night pizza and beer, falling asleep on the couch until he nudged you awake.
But last night the pizza had turned your stomach, and you had gone to bed long before he arrived that night. He was up and out before you had even woken up, and for once you were grateful.Â
It had been a couple of weeks since that night. The night you had gone home with that nameless man. It had been a mistake from the start, and you hadnât stepped foot in that bar ever since. But the past couple of days you had been feeling off, and now you were sitting here in the bathroom, staring at a little white stick. Knowing that itâs answer could completely change your life.Â

You felt how your face scrunched up in confusion. Cas wanted to talk to you privately? Your immediate thought was why. Then you realised that the angel said he wouldnât return, or call was the word he used earlier, until he found the demons. From the terse state of him, you guessed, even though it didnât look like heâd had a physical fight, he mustâve found the culprit he talked of.
But that couldnât solely be it. Because if your angel friend had found the answer to the question you sought the explanation for, the panicked look he now had in his eyes shouldnât exist.

There was a loud crash from the entrance way of the bunker and Castiel quickly hurried to see what was going on. Â Sam and Dean werenât due back for another day or so and as far as he knew, you were off on your hunt. Â His angel blade was at the ready, but he found himself soon letting out a sigh.
You were sprawled at the bottom of the stairs, groaning a little, rubbing your head. Â You were bruised, but not seriously hurt, and when you caught sight of him, you quickly broke into a grin.
âHey Cas!â Â You struggled a little to your feet, staggering a bit, before seeming to gather yourself and brush yourself down. Â âSorry. Â I didnât know anyone else was here.â

Nephilim | Castiel
Warnings; pregnancy, talk of death, mention of abortion
Tears bloated in your eyes, your head coming down to rest upon your arm. The news that you had just received was a death sentence, for not you alone, but the damned creation inside of you. It wasnât fair, and as you threw the test in the trash can, you wiped your eyes and put on a brave face for returning into the war room.
Rock. Paper. Scissors.
Dean nursed a bottle of beer in his hand, whereas Sam held a book. Castiel and you sat at the other side of the table, the angel looking at your hands in confusion.
âSo it is called rock paper scissors?â He asked, you nodding in response.
âThis is rock.â You held your hand in a harmless fist, and then switched to positioning it unclasped and flat. âPaper.â And then you positioned all your fingers excluding your index and middle against your palm. âScissors.â
âAnd what do you do with each of these hand signals?â
Dean huffed out a laugh, listening to your explanations and so on. Anything was better than listening to Samâs little comments about the novel.
âItâs a game.â You told him, smiling at Castielâs cluelessness. It was adorable, it happened with the simplest and most explicit things.
âThen why do you and Sam do it during hunts?â He had seen it, often before getting into Deanâs impala.
âWinner gets shotgun.â You smirked as Sam looked briefly up to send you a short and playful glare. âYou just randomly choose one of them, and then one of you loses and the other doesnât. â
That was a personal jab at Sam and he was well aware.
"How does one win?â Castiel had learnt that humans were very competitive creatures.
âOkay, so rock beats scissors, paper beats rock and scissors beat paper. Got it?â He briefly nodded, and Dean decided to get involved.
âPerhaps you should play for somethingâŚâ
âThat could be fun.â Castiel agreed. You nodded, thinking of what you could want.
âIf I win I want you to take me to the top of the statue of liberty.â He could do that, and although it was a crazy thing to ask for, you were willing to lose all the same. âWhat about you?â
âIâm not sure.â He thought, but had a hard time thinking of a prize.
âIf Cas wins, he gets to have his first kiss with you.â Sam fist bumped his brother at the idea.
You breathed in and were surprised when Castiel agreed to their terms.
âAlright. No pressure.â You muttered.
âRock, paper scissors shoot.â You held out your hand as a rock. Cas hadnât done anything.
âI donât understand.â He spoke, having not heard the saying before.
âCas, its like a countdown. Except you say the words of the game, and then you both put your hands up at the same time.â Sam explained to him, making you thankful that you didnât need to go into further detail.
âOkay. Iâm ready.â And thus the game began again.
â⌠Scissors.â His hand was that of a scissors and you were paper.
âBitch.â You spoke. It didnât look like you would be going to the top of a grand tourist destination.
Dean smirked, raising his beer at you. âGive me that.â You grabbed it, downing the remainder of the contents. You were going to need it.
âYou should be kissing Cas, not my beverage.â He joked, watching as you put the glass down.
âHow do you-â Before you could finish Cas put his lips upon yours. They felt chapped but somewhat comfortable. If this wasnât just a game, you could get used to the feeling of them.
Finally he pulled away, noticing there was red upon your cheeks. âShe liked it.â Dean told him.
âShut up.â You stood headed for your room.
In all honesty Castiel liked it too, maybe it was the kissing or the fact that he had kissed you. He wasnât sure which one.
âIâd like to play Rock, paper scissors again.â He declared. It was fun, he liked being a winner.
Attempts
Falling from Heaven was one thing. Falling for a human was another. It went against the natural order, making him feel further estranged from his own kind.
He wasnât even sure what the emotion he held towards you was. It just felt like there were butterflies in his stomach, which sounded odd to him yes, but he finally understood the figure of speech.
Castiel didnât understand however why he smiled when you walked into the room, even if they were under the attack of demons in that moment. Or why there was a rumble in his chest when Dean got too close to you, hovering his head over his shoulder and placing his experienced hand on your thigh.
The angel glared at the hunter as he did so. Again. Why couldnât the man just speak to you without physical contact?
âSounds like a witch.â The pair of you stared at the computer screen, looking over a new case. Castiel watched from where he was sat on one of the two beds.
Sam was going to catch up with you lot later, and then book his own room in the motel. If he were here, maybe Dean wouldnt be so close to you.
âIâm down for killing one of them.â You shut the lid of your laptop, scooting away from Dean and towards the bathroom, grabbing a towel on your way. âWe can go in the morning.â
And the you shut the door, dividing the two rooms once more in order to recieve privacy. Leaving only Dean and Castiel in the room, parting from their masculinity and heading towards the warm spray of the shower head.
Dean came closer to the angel, sitting in the desk chair and pulling it towards Godâs beloved, yet rejected son.
He could see the harshness in the blue of Castielâs eyes. Usually they were clear and held softness that were mingles with innocence. âWhatâs up Cas?â
Castiel glanced at the bathroom door once more, his eyebrows furrowed. Surely the Winchester would catch onto what he meant. âSo itâs something with (Y/N)?â
âYes Dean. It is.â His teeth gritted unintentionally, his vesselâs body was acting on its own accord.Â
âI mean, sheâs hot. Might be a little too feisty for you though.â The adjective âhotâ was something he had become accustomed to.
Castiel often heard the eldest brother in particular use it about women he met in bars or on hunts. That was the thing though, you werenât like any other woman.
You were you. A huntress that was unaffected at the sight of blood, and the desire of an angel. And the feistiness, it was interesting and comforting all at once. When Cas first met you it frightened him.
âSheâs beautiful.â Castiel corrected him. That was a better term to be used when regarding to you.
âThen tell her.â Dean encouraged him. If the angel had any chance of getting laid, it would be with you. No one else seemed so understanding at his common confusion, perhaps that was because they werenât aware that he was from heaven.
You came out of the bathroom, in what were your pyjamas. The attire consisted of a tank top and some shorts. Dean patted Cas on the shoulder, and so he stood, walking towards you.
âYou alright?â You asked Castiel. He was acting strange, well stranger than usual.
âGod did this world a blessing by making no one else look like you.â Dean literally facepalmed from where he was listening. Offense crossed your face, and so you grabbed your jacket, heading for the door.
âIâm gonna check in and call Sam.â And so you exited the room, taking your phone with you.
âDude!â Cas grew befuddled at Deanâs exclamation.
âYes?â The angel asked innocently, still confused at your absurd reaction. âDid I say something wrong?â
âDid you say something wrong?â The hunter imitated. âYes, you did. Why did you say that?â
âIt was a compliment. Women like to feel unique.â He really needed to learn from the master, and so Dean stood, putting his hands on Casâ shoulders.
âShe didnât take it that way, as that wasnât how it came across. It was seen as an insult, as though you called her ugly.â
âBut sheâs not.â Cas spoke, his voice monotone yet truthful.
âThen tell her.â Dean sighed once more.
You entered, phone in hand. âSamâs about an hour away.â You informed the boys, shrugging off your jacket once more.
âYouâre not ugly.â Castiel informed you, disappointing Dean once more.
âThanks?â You werenât sure whether you should be thankful, this was coming out of the blue.
âFor Chuckâs sake.â Groaned Dean. He had to help his friends. âHe means he finds you attractive. That is what heâs been trying to say.âÂ
âOh.â Came out upon being told that information. The angle himself was definitely attractive, even if it was Jimmyâs skin. But he had a comforting soul, it gave you hope in the fact that there was still innocence lurking in the world. âOkay.â
âOkay.â Castiel repeated, as if it was a mutual agreement to end it there.
âAnd he likes you. Not just the way you look.â He pulled out his own phone, checking the time constantly as if that would make Sam arrive faster.
âGet out.â You spoke. Dean didnât move, so you said it again. âWeâd like some privacy.âÂ
Dean shot Cas a wink as he walked out, heading to his beloved car. This was Casâ chance, and heâd be damned if he was the one that messed it up for him.
After he left, you locked the door, ensuring that you wouldnât be interrupted.
âWas that true?â Cas only nodded in reply. âGood, because I like you too.â
Your hands brushed the collar of his trench coat, as you looked up into the blue in his vesselâs eyes. You leant up and he leant down, your lips connecting in a long peck. It felt like nothing you had experienced before. It wasnât driven with lust, it was pure.
âCan we do that again?â He asked quietly, and you were more than happy to comply.
âŚ.
A knock on the window made Dean jump. It was Sam. âWhatâre you doing in the car?â
That was a very good question from his little brother, and Dean smirked. âCas is getting some.â
Sam was happy to hear the news, but less happy to learn that he would be sharing a room with his snoring brother.
