Tomorrowland Belgium is only two months away, and <a href=”http://dancingastronaut.com/tag/alesso/”>Alesso‘s Forever drops in just two days. As a way to build the already enormous anticipation for both, Tomorrowland just uploaded Alesso’s full 2014 mainstage set to YouTube. In the video, you can see the brilliant Swede expertly command the crowd with a combination of precise mixing and efficient movements. As for the set itself, it’s full of Alesso’s own mashes and festival edits, plus a few of his original tracks; it’s a clever combination, and it sounds every bit as good this spring as it did last summer.

Baauer Drops 'One Touch' Collaboration With AlunaGeorge

Earlier in the week, Baauer (the man behind the “Harlem Shake” craze) posted a screenshot to his Facebook of an iTunes playlist which was comprised of 85 songs of his that have been previously unreleased. What has he kept from letting fans hear?

“pick one from here and ill [sic] put it on soundcloud RN,” the producer told his social media followers. Fans immediately took note of a collaboration he did with AlunaGeorge called “One Touch.”

On October 17, BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac debuted the full version of “One Touch,” the sane way AlunaGeorge premiered their new track “Supernatural.” Coincidence? Perhaps.

Like any true collaboration, both acts contribute their best abilities: AlunaGeorge’s vocalist Aluna Francis delivers beautiful, wispy vocals as she asks for more action. “You gotta give me something to work with,” she sings. On the other hand, Baauer uses door-slam percussion, finger snaps, rubbery bass, and janging melodies to create one cool track.

Gear up, K-pop fans around the world!

The lead singer/rapper of 2NE1, CL, is definitely one of the biggest and baddest break-out talents of the Korean pop world, already making a mark with her empowering 2013 track “The Baddest Female.” The video and the song itself made quite a buzz overseas, and that might have been a sign of more things to come.

In a new and exciting report, CL has her sights set on a US debut, planned for next year. She’ll be guided by star-manager Scooter Braun, who’s been behind the success of acts such as Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Psy.

According to Billboard:

“YG Entertainment, the Korean record label CL is signed to, has confirmed to Billboard that the 23-year-old is prepping a full-fledged solo effort intended to cross over to America next year. The superstar exec behind Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and PSY’s U.S. breakout, will work with her.

As a member of 2NE1 since 2009, CL and her band mates have made great strides stateside despite no official debut. Chart-wise, 2NE1′s Crush album holds the U.S. record for highest-charting K-pop album ever with the best first week sales for a Korean album, plus 2NE1 is the only non-PSY K-pop artist to hit No. 1 on Billboard’s World Digital Songs chart. The quartet was also the first female Korean act to hold solo concerts in American arenas.”

The triple-threat star has already established connections and made friends in the fashion industry, including Jeremy Scott and Nicola Formichetti. Although branching out in the American market can pose as a challenge, it’s not an impossible move for an experienced K-pop act.

Ariana Grande has just released her “Love Me Harder” lyric video and it’s essentially a behind-the-scenes look into the actual music video, which is still to come.

The black-and-white images show Grande wearing her signature cat ears and a sultry black crop top. The Weeknd joins her in a warehouse-like setting under dim, hazy lighting. The photos look to be taken from the “Love Me Harder” music video set, so we have an idea of what’s to come.

The music video is directed by Hannah Lux David, who also happened to direct Jessie J’s “Bang Bang,” featuring Grande and Nicki Minaj. The track itself was co-written by music mastermind Max Martin, Peter Svensson, Ali Payami, Savan Kotecha, Abel Tesfaye, and Ahmad Blashe.

BEAST Releases Emotional Music Video Teaser For '12:30'

Heads up, B2UTies!

BEAST has just released the official music video trailer for their upcoming single “12:30″ through CUBE Entertainment’s YouTube channel. “12:30″ is the title track of their album “Time,” which will be the band’s fifth debut anniversary mini album.

The boys promised fans that if they left over 50,000 comments on their chat the previous day, they would sing “12:30″ during the live Starcast stream. The goal was met so BEAST held up their end of the bargain and gave a special live performance of the new track.

The teaser of the track shows each member looking deep in thought against a giant clock that ticks down to 12:30. The song has a slower tempo and a driving rhythm against a heavy percussion beat. Along with the grooving rap verse, the song gives us a sense of bittersweet longing. The lyrics compare lovers to the two hands of a clock as they strike 12:30 and the high vocal notes express a mood of pain and sorrow.

The “Time” mini-album will contain six songs in total: “Drive,” “It’s A Good Thing,” “Close My Eyes,” “Stay,” “So Hot,” along with “12:30.” Five of the songs are produced and composed by Good Life, which is comprised of BEAST’s own Junghyung and Kim Te Ju. Member Gikwang also contributed by writing and composing “So Hot.”

Hardwell Reveals Plans For 'United We Are' Tour

Aside from all the endless music showcases and surprise appearances that would make mega-festivals like Coachella jealous, Amsterdam Dance Event grouped the biggest and baddest electronic dance music talents to the Holland hub.

It’s a major opportunity for artists to release their big upcoming plans and announce what they have in store for the year ahead. One of these EDM heavyweights is none other than Dutch native Hardwell, who is retaining his 2013 title of #1 DJ and is currently on his I Am Hardwell tour.

Hardwell revealed some news in a recent Facebook interview, saying that he has no plans to stop the momentum on his current tour. In fact, he’ll be taking it straight into the next chapter of his I Am Hardwell tour, titled United We Are.

Who Are The Highest Paid DJs Of 2014?

Announced alongside the release of the artwork for Hardwell’s official “United We Are” album, the DJ explained that the next chapter tour will come full circle and will begin its journey in Amsterdam. It’s said to be his “biggest show ever” in the Netherlands on January 24 at the Ziggo Dome. Pre-sale is available for fans in the Netherlands here!

Following ADE, Hardwell will be back in the studio by November to put the finishing touches on his namesake album. More details will be revealed about the “United We Are” global tour soon so stay tuned.
