Blink 182 and Tom DeLonge have supposedly parted ways. The band's publicist sent this statement to Radio.com:
Matt Skiba of the Alkaline Trio will join Blink-182 in replacement of Tom DeLonge at the 8th annual Musink Music and Tattoo festival. “We were all set to play this festival and record a new album and Tom kept putting it off without reason. A week before we were scheduled to go in to the studio we got an email from his manager explaining that he didn’t want to participate in any Blink-182 projects indefinitely, but would rather work on his other non-musical endeavors.” Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus plan to honor all Blink-182 commitments including the Musink Festival and are excited to have singer/guitarist Matt Skiba join them for this project. “No hard feelings, but the show must go on for our fans.” Additionally, Skiba will continue to make new music and tour with the Alkaline Trio.
Tom then posted the following message on his facebook page:
To all the fans, I never quit the band. I actually was on a phone call about a blink 182 event for New York City at the time all these weird press releases started coming in… Apparently those releases were ‘sanctioned’ from the band. Are we dysfunctional- yes. But, Christ….. #Awkward #BabyBackRibs
Hopefully more updates on the situation will come soon to clear up the confusion some fans may have

Drowning Pool release details of their 2 disc reissue of the band's debut album Sinner:
Drowning Pool are set to release the two-disc Sinner (Unlucky 13th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) on 11/11/14 via The Bicycle Music Company/Concord and launch their Unlucky Sinner 13 Tour performing Sinner in its entirety beginning October 21st in San Antonio, Texas. The expanded reissue of their debut album Sinner, originally released on 6/15/01, represents the definitive version of Drowning Pool’s classic Dave Williams years, whose untimely death on 8/14/02 at the too early age of 30 marked an unlucky end to a rising star.
Sinner (Unlucky 13th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) is re-mastered and features a new bonus disc of 13 studio demos direct from the band’s vaults, officially available here for the first time. The unreleased track “Soul”, from Disc Two, was serviced to the Active Rock radio format on 10/13/14 and a video for “Soul” will premiere in November featuring rare and never before seen footage of Drowning Pool from the Sinner era.
Bush have released a new music video for their song "The Only Way Out" off the bands upcoming album "Man on the Run" (releasing on October 21st.)
