Silere knew how to push buttons and knew when to fight or run. Right now, his only chance of surviving the night without becoming a stain on the sidewalk was to run as fast as he could. The blond’s legs were going as hard as they could to carry him away from the trio that were after his head.
He turned a corner into an ally that led to a domain no one would dare go towards without a reason. Not bothered by his lungs burning from the run while turning around corner. Green hues hadn’t seen the person till his almost slammed into them, trying to dodge them, he tripped and slid against the sidewalk.
Blood rising to the surface of his face where the cement had rubbed of part of the skin on his cheek. It took a moment for everything to ease away for him to regain his composure.
“Shit…”
Late night jobs are tiring but they went faster without a crowd slowing him down. No prying eyes, no nosy strangers, the only real risk was the police, but even they weren’t too much of a problem for him. It pays to be discrete your whole life.
Cutting through the alleyways, he’s hoping to just get home and work on his next job or at least complete as much of it until he knocks out. His hearing catches the sound of somebody running - possibly a late night runner or a delinquent - and he stops, waiting for see where they come from, and then-
"Wh-?!" He barely manages to avoid the person, and they only end up hitting the ground in an ugly way. Though they look painfully familiar… "Blare??" It’s been a while since he’d seen him after their match…
On instinct, he kneels on the ground and attempts to gather as much courage to even lay a hand on the younger blonde let alone grab his arms and help him up, "Blare, what’s wrong? What are you running from?" His voice says he’s ready to kick an ass or two to keep his brother safe.
“Noiz..?”
Wide eyes catch sight of the other before blinking, his chest still heaving from the mad dash. The boy's pupils are dilated with the fear of being caught before he made it into the territory in mind. A faint form of a smile ghosted on his lips.
Light green hues went to the alley he just came from to see no one. Pleased with his work of finally managing the alleyways better than weeks before. Blare's attention turned back to his brother.
“Rhyme members that aren't smart enough to write their own names. 'm sure they've already given up searching.”
Even if he sounded lighthearted about this, the boy knew well that they'd come after him later. For now he could at least catch his breath. Slender fingers went to touch the raw patch on his face, wincing at the sting before sighing.
“Sorry about almost slamming into you...”
