Ya Allah, make the Quran the spring of my heart and the light of my chest, and the banisher of my sadness and the reliever of my distress.
اللَّهم آمين
life is weird because one minute you're 13 wondering if you'll ever see the age of 18 and the next you're 28 and excited to go shopping for lamps
i hope everything gets easier soon. or at least funnier.
"Though I be a thorn, and though there be a flower to grace the meadow, I grow by that Hand which nurtures me"
— Allamah Tabataba'i
“The believer knows that everything and every affair belongs to God, that nothing is independent of Him. Every thing and every affair emanates from God, the Most High, and all that originates from Him is good and beautiful; nothing but beauty and splendor, goodness and excellence, can come from Him. And because all things and all affairs issue forth from their Lord and Master, the believer considers all as elegant and good; they dislike nothing and fear nothing. Everything in their eyes is pleasing, except that which their Master tells them to dislike. They know that everything is the sole property of God and none else has any share in anything. That being the case, why should one worry how the Master manages His own property? The believer does not think that they know better (God forbid) to meddle in the affairs of their Lord. This submission to God, the Most High, creates a perfect tranquility, a truly happy life, untarnished by depression or anxiety; a light without darkness, a joy without sorrow, a benefit without harm, and a riches without want. It all happens because the believer has faith in God and in His Mastership.”

I complete the recitation of the Holy Qur'an once every month, and each time I recite it I feel that it’s not the previous Qur'an that I read. Each time I discover many new pearls of wisdom within it.

When asked the meaning of self-vigilance [murāqabah], 'Allāmah Tabātabā'ī answered, "Self-vigilance is to be attentive inwardly towards God, and to turn to Him in all states. It is through this virtue that a wayfarer may approach, or perhaps attain, their goal. It means being mindful of God from the morning when one wakes up, until the night when one goes to bed. Thus, whatever the person says or does is in accordance with Godly values. It is to perceive that God is omnipresent; that He sees whatever one does and knows whatever one thinks. It is to feel that one is in the warm presence of God. Self-vigilance is the key to all spirituality. Without proper self-vigilance, any other practice or instruction in the spiritual path will be close to void and ineffective."

Indeed, blessings do not last if neglected (or taken for granted).
Make this Dua: „Oh Allah don’t take my blessings away after You have granted me them“
