‘Drowning’ by BANKS The beauty of this woman, her music, and this song knows no limits.
It's been a long time since I last touched The Boy and The Wolf tag, which is my own guilty little pleasure that consists in what I personally believe to be the perfect little soundtrack for anything Sterek. So Ry X & Frank Wiedemann! This song is beautifully chill and just a little bit heartbreaking, what with the lyrics and Frank's haunting voice...
Now when I first listened to this, I immediately went to the brilliant Wolf of the Waters by the most amazing NimblePhoenix. (I'm currently having issues with AO3, so I hope it linked correctly.) Read it, and you'll see.
If the title didn't convince you (really?), have this:
gold i swam into your spell
on the rite of god we fell
you were plush and I laid bare
you had me howling
cold i fell into you skin
on the night you let me
under your sin
you had me howling
And if you're still not convinced, watch the beautiful music video and watch it closely and very intensely and keep your eyes on Ry X.
So, yeah... Get your fics open, blast this at high and enjoy the magic!

LET ME TELL YOU A THING ABOUT THIS THING THAT IS POSSIBLY THE GREATEST THING IN A WHILE! Yes, my enthusiasm for this song is obnoxiously high, and here let me give you reasons why:
It's a great song, catchy and dancy and versatile and completely unexpected. Most of the song these days have a structure that you can just feel coming after a beat or two, but not this one, no siree. This is pure brilliance.
The vocalist, Olly Alexander has a really wicked voice, boyish yet raspy and did I mention he's also an actor? And really, really, cute.
The music video is beautiful and, and, and - wait for iiit- IT STARS BEN WHISHAW OWNING THAT DANCE FLOOR WITH HIS LOOSE FLAILING LIMBS AND WEIRD LITTLE DANCE. <3 Adorable.
These guys are with Kitsuné Maison, which has birthed many a musical wonders.
So, please, make this a thing where you listen to it and become as completely obsessed with it as I am. Just blast this first thing in the morning and I guarantee a great day will follow. (I'm lying, I dunno shit, except this song is epic.) Enjoy!

So this dude - otherwise known as Boris Titulaer - is awesome, he has a voice to die for and he's Dutch. Yes, he is. Which makes him awesome. He also did a thingie with Chase & Status, so lotsa bonus points there.
Anyway, this song is wicked cool and it's got beautiful fuckin' lyrics and one of the trippiest music videos ever (I'm not even kidding, lay off the shrooms for this one, or you know... don't.) There's something subtly jazzy about it, which makes for a pretty hot track so, yeah, grab someone and dance... Or grind. The latter seems more feasible. So this is one for your night playlist, enjoy!

So this is pretty amazing, KNK took Tove Lo's Habits and flipped it to create this beautiful little thing. The track's both uplifting and a little bit melancholic, it's got a wicked fuckin' beat and while I'm not particularly fond of sped up voices to give off that high pitch, it really bloody works in this one. So enjoy another wicked... remix? I dunno if this even counts as one, but yeah, enjoy!

This... this is amazing. It's got beautiful vocals, an amazing intro and an absolutely fantastic drop. But then again, that's something that I expected from Seven Lions. Really give this dude a listen. It's worth it, I promise. Coffee and rain do wonders with this song, so... enjoy!

This song is hauntingly beautiful, Penny's voice is something from another world - just ethereally delicate with just the right bit of rasp. While the beat is absolutely fascinating, with that little break in it... Just really listen to it. And it's not just this song, it's the entire EP that's absolutely amazing and jfc, Penny's really awesome and beautiful and I love her hair. Also this song is guaranteed to brighten your mornings, so... you know the drill, go with the coffee!

So 'Time' is one of my favorite songs by Chase & Status, but Queensway just took it to an entirely new level. I found the original to be too harsh at times, so this is just perfectly chill, with a really wicked beat. Well, hope you enjoy another amazing remix!

So, just because of this absolutely fabulous I'm going to create a completely new category for remixes that will blow your minds. The original song is absolutely glorious, but this remix is so beautiful and delicate and basically just summer showers and spring flowers and clear sunny skies. It's now my go to song for a relaxing morning (that's an oxymoron, mornings can't be relaxing) with a coffee in front and birds singing outside my window (shoot them, shoot them all). But, really, I hope you enjoy!

This was the first song that made me fall in love with BANKS. Maybe it was because I personally related to it, because someone gave it to me for a listen, because actual communication is so overrated... But what I mean is that this song is excruciatingly good. Leave aside the fact that BANKS is amazing, but this was produced by Jamie Woon, JAMIE WOON and Lil Silva! It's hot and amazing, it's painful and it's sexy like hell. And did I mention hot? Yeah, well... it fucking is. So regardless if you're going to just chill on it or grab the first sexually available person in sight and just go to town on them, I really hope you enjoy it.

I have a personal love affair with BANKS and I think everything she touches is gold, but this song, this song has broken my heart and mended it back at the first listen. I can no longer sleep properly if this song is not in my night playlist, and there's something about listening to it, with your headphones blasting, while you're on a bus and it's snowing like it's the end of the world outside. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it, if not find yourself identifying with it!

I apologize!
I apologize profusely for my extended absence! I shall be starting to update real soon, I've just had quite a bit to deal with lately.
Again, so, so, so incredibly sorry! But the music cannot be silenced for long, now can it?
If there's any tag (from my music tags) in particular that you'd like me to focus on, please let me know.
Fever Ray is... something. She's quite an experience and something of an acquired taste, you either love her or you hate her. I am somewhere in between; there's songs I really love and some that haven't really left me with a lasting impression. But, this is one of the songs that instantly caught my attention. It's catchy and definitely dancy, and watching the video is something of a surreal trip. Hope you find yourself at least nodding your head to it!

This is a big moment for me. This is my song, this is my soul song, the one song that both makes me cry and laugh and dance at the same time. It's one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard and I have some absolutely gorgeous memories on it. The chill ska jazzy vibes, the trumpet, Julie O'Hara's heavenly scatting and Felix Riebl soothing voice make this an experience you do not just overlook.
I fell in love with this song hearing it for the first time at a lovely little pub on the beach with the sun rising over the sea and I'm telling you if you can listen to this while walking on the beach, you'll just stand there in awe, smiling like a madman.
GDI, lol, I'm sorry for the rant, I just cannot with this. But, please, give it a listen and I hope you fall in love with it as much as I have.

This is one of my favorite songs in a while and, although I prefer the Sylvio Edit, Bedouin Soundclash and Cœur de pirate are epic nonetheless. This is a damn beautiful song that's both calm and also really, really hot. I was beyond in awe at having seen it on the TW 03x08 episode and I squeed for about twenty minutes at that, because I always considered it a perfect Sterek song, but that works too. So, please, enjoy <3

Following, my earlier share, here's the other absolutely epic Rudimental song. MNEK has one of the loveliest voices I've had the pleasure to listen to and I'm sure glad to have discovered Sinead. It's a perfect early morning song to take your coffee too!
