This is our official recruitment Tumblr for our LiveJournal community Must Be Pop. The community itself has been around since 2001 but it has grown and changed over the years. Looking for something stable that won’t break apart in a month? Come join!

FAQ

★ Wait, this roleplay isn’t on Tumblr? Nope! We are a community of over 100 journals on LiveJournal.

★ Why are you advertising here? A lot of fandom and celebrity traffic has moved away from LiveJournal onto other spaces but we enjoy the style and writing/interaction focus the LJ platform provides. We are here to advertize to those that haven’t heard of us and won’t likely randomly end up on LJ.

★ Why should I join? We have an active Discord along with community activities such as music nights together in character. We see a lot of long-term storylines where you grow many friendships and lives together. Some celebrities have been in game for years and yet are happy to interact and build new storylines. You can put in as little or as much time into the game as you see fit or as life allows. The only requirement is to post a journal entry once every four weeks but there is plenty else to do to interact with others. Comment to other journal entries, chat privately on LJ or Discord, storybook scenes with others, participate in community activities, and more. You can chat constantly with friends or catch up every few week(s) if you need the time away. It is a game where if you have to step away for a few days you do not lose your role.
