the odyssey was good. enjoyed the acting, the score, the practical effects. honestly, don’t mind that “Nobody” and the bag of winds was left out. The former just didn’t seem to fit tone-wise, and the latter is already annoying + the role it serves in the story was easily conveyed through other scenes. I liked that most of the Gods were intangible, considering Athena herself says “Who doesn’t understand thunder? Fire? A child’s smile? A good harvest?” Like yesssss, exactly.
Also, I think ppl are too hung up on the idea that this was supposed to be an accurate 1:1 depiction of Homer’s Odyssey, when it never was.
