Look Dean raised Sam, and Obi Wan raised Anakin. Challenging in their own ways, but Dean never tried to kill Sam, and Sam has saved the world multiple times despite his anger and darkness.

Clearly Dean is the superior parent.

I need to rewatch Supernatural but I’m pretty sure Dean did try to kill Sam at one point? (Hasn’t everyone tried to kill everyone on that show at least once?) And Obi-Wan didn’t technically really try to actively kill Vader-Anakin even though he could have (3 separate times!) Vader also kind of saved the world by tossing Palpatine down the reactor shaft. (Very thin defense of Vader I know tbh 😭)

Also Anakin and Obi-Wan had a much more stable relationship (up until everything went south) than whatever toxic back and forth mess Sam and Dean had going on throughout all 15 seasons.

In conclusion, Obi-Wan needs to get knocked up.

Faux-leather case binding with foil quill designs.

When I first read this fic, the sexy sparring scene with the image of Obi-wan's lightsaber locked against Anakin's modified new arm hit me so hard I knew I had to bind the fic and make that the front cover. The blue and purple color scheme came naturally from there. I chose to theme the design around weapons (lightsabers, Anakin's hand), since that's such an important theme in the fic- who is armed, who is allowed to be armed/trusted with a weapon, who has their guard up, and who is vulnerable. Each "section break" page has two weapons indicative of what Obi-wan and Anakin are wielding in that section respectively, until the final section when both have laid down their arms. Once I'd already made the lightsaber assets I reused them on the chapter heads, back cover, and spine, because the two lightsabers together are so iconic. The gold text on the back cover is meant to be a nod to the famous yellow opening crawls, without being too on the nose.
