With a surprise hug and bright smile, Ludger presented his Nii-san with a silver pocket watch that was strikingly similar to Julius' Chromatus watch, though minor details were probably easy for his Nii-san to spot. "I thought since we can't use our watches anymore, having a regular watch might be nice. I-If you don't like it though, I understand. It was kind of silly of me."

Julius returned the hug with no hesitation, glad to see his brother in such high moods for the Holidays. He accepted the gift gingerly, turning it over appreciatively in his hands to admire the details. It was a very nice watch, and he wasted no time in clipping the chain to his vest.

"No, it's very nice, I've always preferred to check the time with one of these. You're too kind to me, brother. Thank you."

( IC Gift Exchange | Scion Verse (?) ) A new set of watch-repair tools are dropped off, along with a new cleaning cloth for his glasses. Yours was starting to look a little ratty, Julius.

Julius hadn't expected a visitor for Christmas, and he had been surprised to see Ludger until realizing it wasn't his Ludger. The company was still very much appreciated, short as it was.

The watch-repair kit was just like the one he'd used to have, its parts scattered and used up over a year-long journey that amounted to nothing. He's needed a replacement for a while, though ever since his loving little brother had taken his watch, he hadn't bothered.

As for the cleaning cloth...they weren't that bad.

He already had his brother's gift wrapped up and ready for handing over on Christmas Day and when the moment arose, he went to Julius, holding out his present which was a new pair of black gloves and a scarf for the festive season. "Merry Christmas, brother."

He accepts the scarves and gloves with a smile, making a show of wrapping the scarf around his neck so that the gloves would be slipped away into a pocket without notice. He'll change them later when the little brother wouldn't be able to see the state his hand was in.

"So, how do I look?" He asked with a grin, spinning a little to show off the scarf. And really, it didn't look half bad- this'll be nice for the coming season.

It has not been long since they've returned from Canaan. The holiday season was going to be subdued without Ludger's presence. But...he has to try to make the best of it.

This was suppose to be his perfect world after all.
