✧ ˚ ⋆ ｡ — MICHAELA DIDN'T BELIEVE IN INJURIES — , but her sprained wrist from yesterday evening ' s night watch hurt like hell. ( note to herself: never underestimate the power of cats ) , and was currently studying the bruises while on her way to the infirmary. it had been a pretty unlucky day for the hunter , starting from pouring her food down another camper , and now spraining her wrist , what was soon coming at her was worse — bumping into someone. logan rivera , to be exact. grumbling a , “ i can ' t believe this , ” she does her best to avoid him , all efforts futile.

“Is it me, or did this place get even uglier?” Lorelai asked as she gave a sigh and set her bags down on the ground in front of the Poseidon cabin. She rested her hands on her hips before turning to take a good look at the quad. After spending her entire summer as a lifeguard in Honolulu, the old camp seemed pretty dismal. However, as much as she would hate to admit it, there was a part of her that had a c t u a l l y, sort of, kind of missed her big brother. She missed training more, though. Life in Hawaii was peaceful, sure; she enjoyed her green goddess smoothies and acai bowls every morning, and the waves were absolutely fucking rad for surfing…but there was nothing like winning a capture the flag game (while simultaneously having kicked the absolute shit out of an opponent) to give you a blast of real adrenaline. She would adjust to the eyesores…or just spend her days at the bottom of the lake, picking up trash or something. Somebody had to keep that damn water clean.

Odette knew the older girl hadn’t meant to dump her food on her but she still couldn’t helo but be annoyed. “Yes, I’m Odette Buchannan, who are you?” For once she wanted someone to recognize who her parents, if only to intimidate them. “Who are you?”

Odette was carrying her empty plate when she was suddenly crashed into from behind and food was suddenly dumped onto her short hair and down her shoulders. Her favorite shirt was now probably ruined, and it was expensive too. The small girl whirled around to glare murderously at whoever was behind her.

✧ ˚ ⋆ ｡ — miki had barely eaten all day , and she was starving. quickly paying her respects to the gods , she was on her way to sit down next to the other hunters , when she had lost her footing and tripped slightly , her plate filled with bread , fryuts , and vegetables pouring down over the tiny girl. it didn't help that was a whooping 5 ' 8 , her food coming down almost like a waterfall over odette. as the girl turned around to glare at miki , and notices that she was one of the newer campers. “ odette buchanan ? ” she asks , making sure that the girl was really odette. “ if it is you , i apologize for — ” she fingers the girl ' s too. “ — ruining your shirt ... ” she says it with a grimace.
