You’ve been waiting for it your whole life; now it’s here! With SimLife Goggles, you don’t just play the game; you become the game! You’ll never play games on a flat screen again! In fact, you may never again leave your house! Why would you want to?
This is a 3t2 object conversion. Sims can play a variety of games while gaining skills and enthusiasm with it. It can be used by teens and older Sims.
Here are the list of games Sims can play with the SimLife Goggles:
Let’s Fight! (Body skill, Sports enthusiasm)
Tai Chi (Tai Chi skill, Fitness enthusiasm, requires Bon Voyage)
Tropical Paradise (Hula dance skill, Music & Dance enthusiasm, requires Bon Voyage)
Must Dance (Dance skill, Music & Dance enthusiasm)
Life of a Pirate (Games enthusiasm, requires Bon Voyage)
Minigolf (Sports enthusiasm)
Puzzle (Logic skill, Games enthusiasm)
Sims can also practice repairing objects which increases the mechanical skill and the Tinkering enthusiasm.
Note: This object uses traits from the Traits Project. However, it is totally optional and the SimLife Goggles works fine even if you don’t have the traits installed. The traits influence a Sim’s autonomous actions with the object, their motive changes and some animation differences.
I highly recommend reading the documentation that is in the zip file before using this object. It has some detailed info about the interactions and how the traits are implemented.
Finally, this object is available in English and French.
Required EP: Open for Business or later. Some interactions require a specific EP. If you don’t have it, these interactions won’t be available. If you have Freetime, Sims will gain enthusiasm while using the object.
Not required, but recommended mod: BoilingOil’s Vacation-Actions Limited so Sims won’t autonomously Hula dance or Tai Chi unless they are in the right vacation sub-hood (Tropical for Hula and Far East for Tai Chi) or the Sim is a vacation sub-hood local. They will still autonomously Hula dance and Tai Chi with the SimLife Goggles. Of course, if you don’t have Bon Voyage, no need to download that mod.
