friends // open
Lingering outside of the comic book store, dark eyes were glued to the phone that he held in his hand as a small smile played at his lips from the messages he was exchanging. He tore his eyes away from the screen and looked over to the stranger who was speaking to him. Immediately, his expression warmed as he didn’t want the other to think he was anything but friendly. ❝ You’re no bother at all, it’s okay. But no, sadly. I was just hanging around out here in hopes of figuring it out myself. I’m sorry that I’m no help.❞
The warmth in the expression of the other left Jaehyo feeling at ease, he passed a small smile back. It wasn’t easy for him to strike up a chat with other people, seldom did he leave the safe haven he called his home, but today was different. ❝I see, thank you anyways.❞ he replied softly, his eyes and posture giving away the nervous shell he always worse as he continued. ❝ I was hoping someone would know, but it seems they’re keeping it all one big secret, maybe they’re avoiding an overflow of people, understandable.❞
