So let's have a little comparison shall we?
has to break up with her boyfriend because true love since high school is totally, absolutely unrealistic and can never ever work out
Has an degree that's mocked and looked down upon by society
Doesn't use that the degree for something interesting, instead buys the CafƩ where she was tormented for years
Lives in an apartment with her crush
Is barely complimented apart from maybe her looks once or twice
Has unprovoked conflict with most of the (former) secondary characters like Amber, Melody, Yeleen, Clemence ect
Is still together with the love of her life since High school, since true love can overcome everything and being together with your high school boyfriend is totally realistic and can absolutely work out
Lives in her big dream house by the beach
Has an degree with a very high prestige level
Doesn't have any financial troubles whatsoever
Is always complimented by others as soon as she appears. Either by Candy or by one of the other characters
Has a child with the love of her life
At this point I don't know why Beemoov just hasn't made Rosa the protagonist of this game from the beginning. Leigh is not really a developed character and can easily be switched with one of the others. I don't like Rosa, I never have, but that would make more sense at this point. She gets everything! That could be okay if at least Candy would get the same treatment, but no. I think I'm going mad here, like every other otome I played get this concept, except for Beemoov. Other otomes constantly make the MC look special. Like really attractive, talented, smart ect. Getting constant attention and friendly treatment (aside from the antagonists of course) and living their best life. Often with an open happy ending or the option to have a wedding and a family. Look I don't like children and I don't like Rosa so it should be pretty obvious that this event is an absolute nightmare for me. Children in real life are okay I guess, but in games and shows they're so annoying with this overly cutesy stuff and everyone laughs at their "cute" behavior and likes them instantly. This is a pet peeve of mine but I really, really can't stand this. I don't find this cute or endearing. I think this is cringy, sorry. It's bad enough that the new LIs are the Canon true loves of Candy and it still hurts after all this years.
