You have every right to be angry at your abuser.
Even if they have a disorder, disability, trauma, or were abused themselves.
It doesn’t invalidate what they did to you.

Here’s to everyone who didn’t get comforted when they needed it the most. You are worth comforting. If nobody saw your pain or tried to get it to go away, it doesn’t mean it’s not important. The scars of being left to suffer alone are enough to not trust that you deserve any better, but you do. People who caused and neglected your pain were wrong to do so, they have shown themselves as inhumane and vile. May your heart recover and your stress levels balance out. You’re worthy of humanity and love. You did not deserve to be emotionally abandoned and left to your pain.
Reminder: the vast majority of abusers would not label themselves abusers. They would not label most (or any) of their actions as abusive. Not out loud, not even in their own minds.
The vast majority of abusers would adamantly deny it if you told them their actions are abusive. They'd fire back with a thousand reasons why their behaviour is perfectly normal and justified, why it's your fault you feel hurt, and why you accusing them of being abusive is selfish or insane.
That doesn't make their abuse any less real. It doesn't make you any less of a victim or survivor.
i haven’t heard the word “cyberstalking” in a long time but it used to be a recognizably bad thing to stalk someone online, to try to dig up everything you can on them, follow their every move online, obsessively post about them, barrage them with messages, block evade, etc - but now it’s just normalized and seen as something totally “ok” to do if the person in question is “problematic” in some way - like the same people who say “if your partner does this run” will turn around and do the same thing to a stranger online they dont even know and they don’t even think twice - it’s abuse, it’s harassment… just stop it
everyone should thank me because as bad as i am, i am holding myself back from being much worse
toxic mothers are wild they'll really be like "I never said that" like ma'am yes you did cause it's been ingrained in my head since I was twelve
i genuinely think i was supposed to die in 2020 instead of him, but because i didn’t there’s this awful new timeline and things will just keep trying to kill me but not actually succeed until one day it works and things are fixed again
Rest in Paradise, Benjamin. 💖 Most, if not all days, I'd kill to have just one more big teddy bear hug. 🧸
tonight they told me they’d always be around if i needed them and then blocked me
the sooner today is over the less i’ll want to fucking kill myself
i’m stuck between “i want children because i want a family” and “i don’t want children because i’m scared i’m gonna end up being like my parents and ruin my child’s life”
"yOuR trAuMa mAde yOu sTroNger" no bitch it made me prone to disassociation and afraid of loud noises
