It has been a decade since I read the books so bear with me but do you get the feeling that Harry is the kindest of the trio but Ron is the most loving? Harry’s altruism is a wide-throw net, it comes from justice and it extends to all. He wants good to reach you but there is a certain remove in it that it’s the hero archetype nature rather than personal. But with Ron it’s like his loyalty is to the people he loves but it’s deep and human and warm, it comes from a place of love than decency. It’s personal and emotional. Perhaps more compelling even? I dunno.
