I hate German because all of these translations are bad and can't be used the way I use exciting. It's literally the first language I learned and I still hate having to use it because I can never express what I want to express. "German has a word for everything" bullshit. It doesn't even have a good translation for awkward or anxiety. Trying to express emotions in German with long awkward words that no one actually uses that make everything sound literary and distant.

Having to say "a friend of mine" instead of "my friend" every time because there isn't a word for boyfriend/girlfriend and just saying my friend always has the implication of dating. Clunky language that doesn't have any of the words you'd actually need

sad part about sex being a taboo topic is that sometimes really funny things happen during sex or related to sex or at weird sex clubs and you cant tell the story to like 90% of people in your life because of the sex context. the contsext. do you ever wonder how many people have funny sex stories theyre just sitting on. its tragic.

There's so many funny little stories. I laugh so much during kink scenes just in general. I remember one time we had a rehearsal for a porn shoot. And somehow it was decided to try using a vacuum because there was one in the room. There's a scene that I think is funny in hindsight because of it's absurdity although it actually wasn't funny in the moment. Like it was super hot and intense. But it also specifically was an audio recording of really bad and annoying queer discourse that we had found on Lex that they recorded themselves reading and then played to me on headphones. Which is a perfectly absurd thing to have experienced.

Then I'm also thinking of stuff like when shortly after a break up I had a play date with someone already scheduled and only wanted to do chill needle play. And so we ended up playing tick tack toe with needles on my back.

Saw heated rivalry with a friend and had a great time with it. But based on how everyone was talking about it I really expected the sex scenes to be a way bigger part of the show and be way more explicit and drawn out. Like it's a romance that has a couple good sex scenes and people are talking about it like it's softcore porn. It's just reminding me of how devoid of sex a lot of mainstream media is nowadays.
