the way Fitz repeatedly asserted that Buckkeep's atmosphere was a more pleasing and welcoming one once Kettricken was there because the keep had the "touch of a woman again" but never acknowledged the fact that it was first and foremost the touch of a Chyurdan that made it feel so. It was the tapestries woven in the mountain style. The simplicity of Kettricken's designs and their openness. The familiar gardening techniques she employed that he didn't realize were familiar, her natural focus on water and tranquility and light and all the things little Keppet would have absorbed like a plant when he was growing up. The idea that somewhere deep down he recognized and was drawn to all these little aspects of the culture that was denied to him. The way it made Buckkeep feel more like home, even if he was also constantly remarking on how changed the space was, too. Something I ponder and consider sometimes.

idk why people are still trying to do "hear me out"s on tumblr
you could talk about wanting to fuck the space needle on here and people would still call you a poser for insisting on fucking "conventionally attractive architecture" as if that's a coherent, easily-recognizable category

In 2026, the chicest thing a gay actor can do is never explicitly come out as gay but also make it abundantly clear that he is. Coming out is too modern. Staying closeted is too old fashioned. But this method merges contemporary freedom with Old Hollywood glamour and allure, and it weeds out the dumbest people who truly don’t get it. I call it the Pascal Method.

no she doesn’t
You clearly don't go here or to queer history and signaling, or both, enough to have this conversation and I'm not going to explain it to you. You could have asked questions, you could have done even a modicum of research. You didn't and you made yourself look ignorant. Goodbye.

Claire, hi ❤️
I guess you already saw the news but tell me, as a 9x9 specialist and a Nadao aficionados, what do you think is the plan for him in GMMTV? I loved him in Great Men Academy and In Family We Trust! I hope he will join the cast of High and Low : Born to be High with Sky. Thank youuu
Hiiiiiii spoon (✿◡‿◡)
I saw! I keep telling myself I won't be surprised by any new additions to GMMTV but I have to admit this one shooked me a little. Not because it's unexpected but I am admittingly afraid of what it means for the future of annual TRINITY reunion at Superfluid Songkran singing ผู้โชคดี (The Lucky One) aka Great Men Academy OST (mind you TRINITY have been doing this every year since before and after 4NOLOGUE dissolved and TRINITY members are all under separate management).
Jackie already made a long farewell/explanation post on the starting of his new journey at GMMTV.
The past two years have been some of the most challenging in my life. First, I want to tell everyone that my decision to join a new home under GMMTV was my own. I believe this will be another important opportunity for me to grow, both as an artist and as an actor. Looking back to the day I decided to start my own company, I had almost no knowledge of management. Everything was new and much harder than I imagined. But within that difficulty, it was also fun and full of valuable lessons. Over the past two years, I've tried and failed, learned about business, behind-the-scenes work, and understood how much dedication from so many people is required to create a single piece of work. Today, I want to thank my past self for daring to do something I'd never done before and giving it my all. I also want to sincerely thank everyone at OTH Entertainment, both those who have been with me on this journey and those who are still here today. Thank you for believing in Jackie, and thank you for your continuous support, help, and dedication. We started as a small team with many different roles, some days barely sleeping, and some days solving problems on set minute by minute, but everyone persevered. This has resulted in something we can all be proud of. The memories, experiences, and friendships that have developed over the past two years will always be cherished and something I'll be proud of. For me, everyone was truly a Dream Team. From the very first day, I always intended that we wanted to be a part of creating good work and bringing happiness to everyone who followed and supported us. Even though OTH is no longer managing me, the intention and purpose from the beginning remain the same, and I will continue to uphold this in every role I take on in the future. OTH will also continue on its own path, and I hope everyone will continue to follow and support the company on its future journeys as well. Finally, thank you to all the fans, partners, clients, and everyone who has supported me and OTH Entertainment throughout the years. Thank you for being with me through every moment, and thank you for believing in us. From now on, I will do my best in my role in the next step of my life. This chapter may be ending, but the horizon is still ahead. See you on the horizon 🤍 Jackie Jakarin Kangwankiatichai, CEO - OTH Entertainment
But if you ask me WHY? Jackie is joining GMMTV of all place. The very simplified version is that GMMTV made him a good offer in this lakorn/thai ent recession period - one which we can only speculate on. It's probably important to note that Jackie has been on the press record the past few months talking about both about how he's considered leaving the industry and the lukewarm reception to his music despite his efforts and also his dreams of winning the lottery and quitting the industry once he's won the biggest lotto prize.
My personal thoughts from what I've seen as someone who's been following mostly Jackie's acting works is that GMMTV seems like a comfortable place for Jackie to grow a stable fanbase for his acting works while having full behind the scenes support for his music endeavors. I think the past two years of Jackie trying to do everything himself have shown him that perhaps it's better to have team that can better support the behind the scenes for his musical endeavors than him having to do everything himself from scratch (but it's indeed very endearing and admirable watching Jackie and his OTH team doing things like hosting online google meets with fans to survey what they want for his concert)
This is just my instinct but I feel like Jackie want to act more and GMMTV is a great backing should he wants to take on more acting gigs at the moment in this lakorn recession period. Two of his SWU best friends (Nanon and Perth) are also at GMMTV so why not? (GMMTV probably would have snatched Gelboys' New Chayapak from this friend squad as well had he not been with LOOKE)
So honestly I'm cheering for Jackie and whatever he wants to be doing next at GMMTV. My biggest fear is that Jackie will have to decline annual TRINITY Songkran reunions and Olympop but for that we'll have to wait and see next year if his move to GMMTV has changed the freedom he had as an independent artist.
side note: I think it's really ironic how both of Meen's "BL" partners (Ping and Jackie [who is starring in Ban Son Sop บ้านซ่อนศพ - TrueVisions Now bromance/male friendship series adaptation of a BL horror novel]) are ending up at GMMTV. If P'Gong isn't holding onto Meen so tightly, I bet GMMTV has their eyes on Meen as well.

had a fucked up dream i had a book that turned out could never be read again the same as the first time because each reread the characters became incrementally more aware that the events of the book had happened before and they were “reliving” it and i reread enough times that they became self aware, figured out they were in a book, acknowledged me as the reader, and some lost their minds or had existential crises, became violent to other characters or themselves, some begged me to never stop reading or they ceased to exist and others begged me to end it all stop reading and keeping them trapped in the endless loop of torment, and the literal only way to get the book back to its first run was to hand it off to someone else to read for the first time and for some reason i physically couldn’t tell anyone about it so i’d have to just hope whoever i gave it to would only read it once and i could never open the book again to check if they were okay and back to normal because i was terrified of fucking them all up again :(
i'm glad people are finding this fun as a concept and making references to stuff that this reminds them of but i really gotta express how bad of a nightmare this was for me. i had fallen in love with the original story and characters (though on waking i couldn't tell you the details), unintentionally warped their story beyond recognition, and found myself an unwitting god that could not provide mercy for some without doling torment to others. one of the characters started offing themselves every time i started another reread. stress dream doesn't even begin to cover it
