Toda esta narrativa anti-Argentina demuestra lo susceptible que es la gente y lo fácil que fue, es y seguirá siendo controlar la opinión popular por medio de la desinformación y la explotación de las emociones como herramienta.

Me es medio difícil decir cuales son las raíces exactas y en que momento empezaron a extenderse en la opinión colectiva, pero lo importante es que hay un odio hacia Argentina y el argentino que tienen su origen en el racismo (refiriendome exactamente al trauma que tienen los estadounidenses con el mismo, trasladando su visión de la realidad sobre la de otras culturas) y la desinformación e ignorancia de la mayoria de gente que usa redes sociales y no puede pararse a investigar un poco.

The thing about Argentina is that people have this idea of how the country is (usually promoted by some first-world country) and so they already made up their minds about us. We're the villains and we are never not going to be if they refuse to interact and listen to what we say or how we are.

"Argentina is racist" there are racists, yes, like everywhere. They are loud, like everywhere else. Right now there is a US backed right-wing government that Is fucking us over, like in half the world.

"Argentina is white" we had a huge wave of european migration, yes, as well as jewish, arab, chinese, african and from the rest of latam. We also have multiple indigenous peoples and cultures that first lived here. The afroargentinians had a huge impact on the independence and foundation of our nation and culture. The myth that argentina is white is promoted by right-wing groups.

"Argentina is full of nazis" the nazis came to Latin America (not just Argentina) through the back door in secret and had to change their names, unlike the US which gave them jobs at NASA.

By the way, this is not unique? A lot of countries had similar experiences in their histories. But somehow Argentina gets all the bad rep.
