Hello My name is Leah Webb I am 23 year old Fashion & Textiles for Print Designer, who graduated with a BA Honours Degree at UCA Rochester. I love fashion, always have i'm constantly looking for new ideas to inspire me, which I can interpret into my work. I have a graphic style of drawing which I reflect in my prints, I work by bringing in the elements of hand drawn and hand printed to a digitally enhanced final outcome.

Another garment of mine featured in the latest Geist magazine issue three. My skirt paired with Rhianna's too & a Vivienne Westwood belt! This is my favourite outfit from the shoot I really like how Geist mix & match students collections together. I'm very proud to be featured twice in their magazine.

This is my graduate fashion show for UCA Rochester, three years of hard work has gone into this & believe me it was an emotional! Each outfit including the Print was designed & made by myself. Im so glad all my family & friends was there to support me.

My Final Collection at my graduate show in London. There is one outfit missing from the end, the models walk off strait away so I didn't get a chance to get a good picture of the whole line up. This is the UCA Graduate show at Spitalfields London. All the prints and outfits where designed and made by myself.

Final Collection Line up with Prints. 

This is my collection for my graduating year of uni. All the prints are hand designed by myself using a mix media of photographic elements and hand drawn aspects. The dresses and tops are made from silk, the skirts are made from cotton drill, the shirt is double georgette, the jacket is thick cotton with silk lining and the trousers are tweed. My concept is all about distortion in nature, dark reflections and animal conservation.

This print is one of the final ones chosen to go towards my final collection, this print is on a skater dress and will be made of silk to show off the colours. This print is made us of 2 photographs layered up with an added detail print behind the trees.

Photographic Deer Placement Print 

This Print is rather simple for me but as it stand is one of my favourite so far, using the deer head I had drew and combining it with a photograph i took from adventuring around the woodlands I have made a simple yet eye catching placement print. I am thinking of using him on a T-shirt as a statement print.

For my final collection I Have been studying woodland animals, drawing them and being inspired to create prints from my drawings. This fox was hand drawn then painted using water colours, then I enhanced the colours on photoshop. I am unsure what print he may become but I am looking forward to making him a part of my collection.

My latest project, all the prints was inspired by Iris Van herpen. I interpreted her work into my own ideas & took inspiration from Cells & virus Structures, this all my final work in a Gallery as well as my Final garment. A silk Satin blouse with my own print design on it, in the gallery is my sketch book drawings & my fabric samples as well as a Circular trend booklet.

Behind the scene. Making the mock up collection before making the real things, all the garments in this picture where made from calico & light chiffon so we could get an idea how they would look and what needed changing.

The collection for Reiss designed by me & my design group, two print students & two design students work. This collection was for spring summer 2014 the fashion show was held at UCA Rochester

My garment I designed for Reiss. Long sleeve blouse & pencil skirt, the print in the shirt was designed & printed by myself. Inspiration was flowers, art & soft pastels for spring/ summer 2014 the cat walk for this collection was held at UCA Rochester.

This is a close up of my Stag head screen print, it was made into a repeat so it could be used as a wall hanging. Aspects of this print was later taken and made into a digital repeat print.

This is a project i did befor my death and decay project, it was all based on nature and combining with bold geometric prints. This is all screen printed by hand and was done in a way so that the print itself could become a repeat, the fabric was cotton and the dye was ecotex binder.

These are a few fashion drawings i drew with different garment shapes & ideas, i used photoshop to incorporate my prints onto them. The prints are different sizes, scale & positions to get a better range of ideas & how my prints could be used.

These are some dress fronts I put together on photoshop just to see how my prints would look on just simple shift dresses. They work well as placement prints but not as repeat prints.
