Here we are with the weekly appointment with Sissiworld‘s column on Mychildworld’s blog.
I will abandon this week my sales tips because I want to tell you about our Pitti Bimbo: I say “our” because it has been mine and of Pamela Bini, CEO, creator and founder of Mychildworld.
Our Pitti Bimbo, with Ping Pitti Pong, the cheerful and dynamic theme of this 79th edition, was actually a frame (fashion and beautiful, of course) to something much deeper: friendship. It deserves consideration. Everyone tells me that the world of fashion is ruthless, driven by low blows, heel strike, industrial espionage (and we could also perceive the watchful eyes of some exhibitor and the “no photos” in many stands). But I‘ve noticed that the most beautiful creations come out when they are based on collaborations, when ideas are exchanged.
Just as the section of the capsule collections created by Vogue Bambini in collaboration with Pitti Immagine, in a project by Alessandro Enriquez: Kid’s Evolution.
Here then An Italian Theory, a collection inspired by the Italian culinary tradition with a touch of retro ’50s…
Stella Jean, with bright colors in wax prints on striped fabrics, cotton dresses and swimwear with exotic prints on a retro style…
The bag “Tela” designed by Benedetta Bruzziches, a folder with inside of it many colored markers with which children can write and draw, to customize it to their liking. To cancel? Just wash it! In this way, a daily accessory takes on a new and personal meaning.
Studiopretzel repeats shapes and volumes of the collection for adults and all the work and the quality of the first line: the result is a quality garment and soft details, sweatshirts and tees full of color, very suitable to enter the world of the child.
SuperDuper Hats has created a mini-me collection, starring models that are a must in the collections for men and women, designed and reinterpreted in mini sizes.
Vivetta takes us into a doll house, with furniture inspired by the ’50s and the ’60s and ’70s tapestry. The clothes’ clean lines and their bon-ton looking amaze us with specific details, such as embroidery with the profiles of the faces and the edges of the hands.
At Pitti Bimbo 79 Pamela and I have had the opportunity to debate for two full days on our tastes in fashion and childrenswear and also on being mother, woman, businesswoman, we discussed important projects, some really ambitious… we had never even seen in person, but when we looked in our eyes, it seemed that we had always been one for the other, I felt that I ever knew this intelligent, educated, funny and ironic woman and when we said goodbye I was not sad, because I know that we are now. We are the one for the other. Without asking anything in return, not for business or for money, but only for esteem, affection and friendship.
